“Came in from Atlanta due to work and someone recommended these guys on our last day. I have to say, I wish I knew about this place from day 1 because the food was great. I had the ribs with beans and fries... when people said the beans are good, they were not playing. The Food came out in a matter of minutes and it was the best meal I had all week long. Go check them out.If we do fly back, I'll be going back for sure.”
“I went with recommendations from the staff and it was right on the money. Exquisite ribs, the best burnt ends I've ever had. Even the potato salad was exactly what I hope for and never find anywhere else. As to atmosphere, it's clean and comfortable, with everything you need (like hand wipes). The folks are knowledgeable and clearly love the food they're making. This is my new go-to BBQ place.”
“You'd be hard pressed to find better ribs anywhere in St.Louis and that's a fact. Come early if you want burnt ends, they sell out quick!! Pound for pound you can't go wrong with Bogart's BBQ in a city with amazing bbq, so that means something.”
“First tried this hidden gem during burger week in StL and it was fantastic. My daughter wanted to have her birthday meal here, so went today. It's not often the sides offered at a BBQ place are all good. Fries, seasoned but not salty, onion rings, not made in house but good, green beans, baked beans and potato salad all solid! Turkey or chicken is the true test of great bbq because it can just be so dry. Not here! The turkey was moist, cut easily with a plastic fork. I wish the ingredients for nachos and salads were listed on the menu. Also saw brisket chili as a specialty, should have ordered some to go. Decent wings, the buffalo wings were not hot at all. Also loved their bbq sauces, can't wait to go back and try more things on the menu.”
“I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet! It's our go-to neighborhood place. We love sitting at the bar, getting draft beers, and splitting a sandwich and an appetizer. Portion sizes are large, so prepare yourself for leftovers if you aren't a huge eater. Staff is always lovely and provides great service. As for favorite dishes, we love the cheesy fries (a meal on its own), the White Wall sandwich, and the fried Salami sandwich. Everything is good, and we've tried just about everything! We also just got smoked turkey for Thanksgiving, and it was the best turkey I've ever had.”
“Second time coming to Hogtown and was so good. Everyone is super friendly and their food is incredible. Frito pie is the best I have had and their French dip didn’t disappoint, also the corn bread is INCREDIBLE. Anytime I come to St. Louis I am making sure I come back.”
“Awesome spot for the beer enthusiast, great selection of single beers for purchase, terrific selection of beers on tap and looks to have a wide range of the harder spirits for those seeking a different flavor. I really like the singles from the local craft breweries.”
“We ate SugarFire 2x while we were in the Lou. First night was 30 min before sellout. The portions were huge. Sides were good but nothing that just blew me away. The next time we were 1st in line. Portions were kinda measly. Completely different sides and well again they were just ok. Nothing over the top. Both times the drinks in fountain machine were empty. The 2nd trip they just opened and were filled with cleaning water from the night before and I almost drank it.The burnt ends were top notch. The ribs were just mehThe turkey was great.Brisket was good but nothing special.Pork was so tender it was awesome too.The real winner is the sauces tho man. That coffee is on a different level!!”
“Being I'm a truck driver from out of time I stopped there for a drink and food and they was very welcoming there. Most bars don't like out of Towner's but they included in their round of shots and I drink too shelf??But that fish platter ???. The Owner and and her sister also check on you to make sure your good. I'll be seeing them again next time in in STL”
“Best bbq I’ve ever been to hands down! Not only the best food, but the most amazing customer service, as well as at a great price!! The owner himself served us and made conversation . Even gave us a few ribs each to sample out. Everything was 5 starts in my book!”
“We’d eaten at other Salt & Smoke restaurants, so we were happy to see one within walking distance of our hotel. Unfortunately, this one was a bit of a let-down. The food and service were still good, but not nearly as good as other Salt & Smoke restaurants we’d frequented. Both were OK, but not much above average. Still fine, just not as good as expected. -The PowerTrippers”
“I have never had a bad meal here. The food is consistent and delicious. The wings are quite possibly my favorite in town. Always crispy and great flavor. The burgers and sandwiches are also on point and fresh and definitely give the competition a run for their money. It's the perfect place for a quick bite while watching the game!”
“Visiting from NJ and wanted to eat somewhere that isn’t a chain. This place is exactly what I was looking for. Owner puts his heart and soul into his food - his grandma’s recipe. Wishing him the best and I would eat here regularly if I was from the area.”
“A bartender walked up to us and asked us when are we going to buy drinks which was awkward. I guess we were taking too long to order. ? The music was enjoyable. I like how the bar plays music outside the bar in the back as well as the inside. Overall I will return! ?”
“Had the Longsilog (sausage) and the chicken tosilog. Both were SO delicious! Food also came out pretty quick, especially with it being later in the day (2ish pm) on a Saturday. It’s located inside the brewery, which was a cool atmosphere as well. Highly recommend checking out if you’re on ”
“Tender tips & baked beans with just right amount of beef ??potato salad tasted like granny was back there making it, ONLY COMPLAIN SPAGHETTI WASN'T READY (DID APOLOGIZE & SAY IT WOULD BE READY AT 1)Kid-friendliness: Clean professional environment ????Parking: Plentiful”
“One of STLs finest BBQ! The portions are generous and everything is really delicious. They have a variety of sauces to choose from that are all tasty in their own way. Dalie’s also excels in their sides. They are incredible. Both the fries and fire and ice pickles are my favorite. Definitely a must for delicious BBQ.”
