My husband and I were on an anniversary road trip from Tennessee and decided to come to St Louis to see the Arch way. We decided to eat at Ace’s Smokestaq for an early dinner! Antonio and his family are so amazing and the food was absolutely on point! We felt like family! Great BBQ.I had the rib tips and they were great. The owners are really nice and very passionate about their BBQ. Easy walk from the arch.

Five Ace's Smokestaq Lightning is an incredible BBQ place and a must stop in St. Louis. The food is amazing and delicious, with some of the best BBQ ever had. Specific meals like the uncle Tony's burger, the 1/2 rack, and the pulled pork are all perfect. The sides are notably delicious and incredible, too. Everything is made fresh. The historic atmosphere is amazing. The staff, the pit-master, and the owner are all great, helpful, and really nice, making guests feel at home. They are so hospitable. It is a highly recommended go-to place to eat, hang out, and have great conversations. Guests plan to come back every year.
