“We were in town (from the Twin Cities) for the 2025 President's Day Classic, and had Hogtown Smokehouse cater a team (and parents) dinner for 30 in our hotel. Rico was fantastic in helping us out. Quick to respond to calls and emails. Gracious, and just wonderful altogether... and that's just the service. The food? The empty pans, told the story. Brisket, Turkey and Pork for meats. Mac & cheese, potato salad and beans for sides. EVERYTHING was amazing! I never right reviews, but Rico and staff deserve this one. If you're reading this, don't hesitate to give them a try. “Ate at Cafe Smoke Shack recently. The food was fantastic. Service was excellent and our waiter was very attentive. Giant portions, well prepared & we were all extremely pleased with our meal. "Stan, Matt & Marlowe were charming and cordial to all. The owner (Matt/Chef) is one of the nicest and most hospitable folks you'll ever want to meet. Truly cares about his customers. “The first thing I ever ate at Bandanas was their Wet Bandana, back around 1980 when it was part of a strip mall in Arnold MO. Order anything. I've never had a bad meal there. They offer 5 different styles of sauce, so you can eat pretty much any style you want. Like the sauce a whole lot? We do. You can get it at Schnucks and Deirbergs, or just bring a few bottles home with you, from the restaurant. Want to feed folks at home, order on line and pick it up. We've done it. It's Great, but the restaurant's the best experience, in my book.“

“Sawmill BBQ is located very close to our house, yet we’ve never tried it. Well, we just did the other evening, and LOVED it. Everything was bursting with flavor and the meat was beyond tender. Even the Cheeseburger was above average! All of the sides were devoured in minutes (green beans, fries, creamy coleslaw, garlic bread). Safe to say, we’d totally pick up from Sawmill again - or dine in (they have a large dining room, with live music sometimes I’ve heard!) :-)“

My husband looked at me like I was crazy when I read off dates but the slight sweetness against all of that savory is what made it!! We also tried the Fatty B, Meat me in St Louie, Magic Carpet Ride, and the Gyro. They were all amazing but the Gonzo and the Gyro were my favorites. The Magic Carpet Ride is also a must try if you're into mushrooms.“

“West County doesn't have a lot of restaurants offering a vegan menu AND a regular menu. Enter Smokee Mo's. Very pleased with their vegan offerings. If you are vegan or plant based but still want that BBQ flavor I strongly recommend. In addition, their friendliness and customer service are have always been top notch. Highly recommend.“
