“No question, Pappy's has the best ribs in Saint Louis. They also had the longest line but it was worth it. The meat is fall of the bone tender. The cole slaw is vinegar based with apple and cabbage, perfectly complimenting the richness of the ribs which melts in your mouth. The brisket is ok--go for the ribs. We loved Pappy's so much we came here a second time on our vacation and got the rib meal with 2 sides and added smoked turkey. I def recommend the smoked turkey as it's something different you can't find just anywhere. We also went to Bogart's (4.5/5) and Sugarfire (0/5) while in Saint Louis.“
“The owner Mike, was a delightful man and walked my boyfriend and I through his menu. We ended up sharing a full rack rib combo with a quarter pound of brisket and homemade applesauce topped with cinnamon. I've always been picky with BBQ because it's hard to find good ribs, but this place really was probably the best ribs I'd ever had. Not only were they "fall off the bone" but they were perfectly flavored with their apple butter BBQ glaze. They close early too sometimes due to selling out so make sure you go early!“

Used to come every time I was in the city, but once I opened what I genuinely thought was the bathroom door only to realize it was just a storage closet, so I was of course immediately about to close it and move on but an employee yelled at me, grabbed the knob out from under my hand and closed the door ? It was so needlessly humiliating (needless in general) in such an intimate space too. My ears were hot while I had to then finish my meal in there, ugh. Left such a bad taste in my mouth I haven’t been back in years. Good food though.“

We were missing one of our sides and didn’t realize until we left, however when we asked for extra pickles and dipping sauces they really gave us extra. “Fast casual - cafeteria style ordering. Long lines but it moves quick. They have hot and cold sides. They have sides like fries, baked beans, garlic green beans and cold sides like macaroni salad, coleslaw and potato salad. I ordered a brisket sandwich and tried the fries, coleslaw and garlic green beans. I also added caramelized onions to my sandwich. The sandwich was lukewarm but still very good. Not overly fatty. Tender and good flavor. Coleslaw was bland. Fries were piping hot but seemed like they had been fried twice. Kind of like they fried then got cold and they refried. It had that dark brown slightly burnt taste. But they were decent. Garlic green beans were great! definitely my favorite side. Highlight of my visit was all the sauces. “This is what we've been waiting for! Coursed menu, elevated experience from start to finish. These young chefs is going to go far and I'm here for all of it! Located downtown, the outside isn't much to look at, but as soon as you enter, you're greeted with the modern and stylish yellow and gray decor. Counter Seating and a few Tables on the perimeter shape the room. Staff is friendly and you can tell they put so much into their Service. For this restaurant, you reserve your seat online ahead of time and pre-pay the meal. My first visit was for Brunch on 9/24, the 10a Seating. 4 courses, starting with Shrimp n Grits, then French Toast, then Asian Croissant, then Honey Cake. (See Photo of menu for details). Overall, amazing!! I added the cocktail pairing which was a Mimosa and a Coffee Martini, both excellent. My only point of feedback would be that the menu was Carb forward and really could have used an Egg or Veggie forward dish as Course 3 to break it up, but all of everything tasted amazing. The restroom, yep, it's a Vibe too and very Clean. I'm motivated to come for Dinner and will be back soon!“
“This place is a must try. The food and service were great.My wife and I both ordered the Burnt Ends Sandwich with fries and wings for an appetizer. The Burnt Ends Sandwich was nice and tender. The wings were very good. I had to stop eating them so I would be able to eat my sandwich.The only negative thing was the sauce. I was not a big fan of the sauces, although the sauce that came on the sandwich worked well with the Burnt Ends. I'm not a fan of peppery or spicy sauces, and that's what they featured.I would visit this place again. I definitely would order their Burnt Ends by themselves and add a different type of BBQ sauce.“

I ate the food so fast that i forgot to take any pics. The Turkey leg was amazing 10/10!!! My friend is an even bigger critic of food and die hard Memphis BBQ defender and even he had a hard time saying anything bad about the tips, beans, or potato salad! You do pay a pretty penny & I could’ve done with maybe half the portion of rib tips but if your belly can hold a lot at once, it’s well worth it!“

“Great staff, fun atmosphere, and great music. I went here on a Wednesday when they have a sort of “open mic” that I can only compare to going down to Louisiana to hear everyone jam together. They do not have food on Wednesdays but you can bring in outside food. They also have cocktails, mocktails, THC drinks, CBD drinks, and soft drinks. Definitely a place I’d revisit for a good time.“

“Great new spot. It has lounge vibes. Eclectic selection of bourbon and whiskey bottles to buy. They also do flights. Some hard to find stuff. All reasonably priced. Great beer selection. They also serve a small list of food like sliders and nachos. The chicken sliders were very good. I had a few Ben Holladay old fashioned and they were excellent.“

Most bars don't like out of Towner's but they included in their round of shots and I drink too shelf??But that fish platter ???. The Owner and and her sister also check on you to make sure your good.
