“We recently got a big order for a little shindig we were having. The people were nice, the process was smooth, and the food was an absolute hit. We have been here a number of times and will continue to but this was such a positive experience I had to leave a review :)”
“Really best for dine-in. Food is good. Northern china cuisine. As a non-Chinese, I appreciate that the menu has color photographs of most every item. Favorites are the spicy fish, twice cooked pork, glass noodles w pork, and sweet and sour pork (mostly just sweet). Okay were house noodles, noodles w fermented cabbage, braised knuckles. Least favorite was the dumpling soup -- mainly because I'm not a fan of cilantro. Place is small, but cute and clean. Service is prompt and friendly.”
“It was our first visit to St Louis and we visited this place after checking the reviews; we instantly fell in love with this place and it's ambience. The place was crowded but the service was quick, we ordered spicy boiled fish entree and a Mala stir fry with ramen noodles. The food was DELICIOUS and we would like to go back whenever we visit the city.”
“The best.If you want east coast pizza that will make you wanna slap your mama well whoomp there it is! KAKAH!♡Also the prices are good and the people are very sweet.”
“One of my favorite places to eat in St. Louis. They have plenty of spicy and not spicy options for everyone. I would recommend their string beans, cauliflower, mapo tofu, and szechuan style fish in chili oil . They also have this very good dessert options especially their pan fried rice cake w brown sugar. If I were to leave St. Louis, I would crave this pace everyday”
“Gruff service but I absolutely loved it. Similar to what you’d expect in foreign eateries where service and atmosphere take second place to the food. And for $8 a person, this was a great value in 2024. Simple menu, retro diner style, a little hard to find because you’d assume it’s on Delmar but it’s tucked in a corner around back. I’ll be back, and often.”
“The smokey bbq that this restaurant is known for is essential to your soul if your a foodie. Their excellent top teir service is just an added bonus from Jake and his staff. My family and I will definitely be back hands down!! ”
“The bread they use is absolutely phenomenal. Both of our sandwiches were loaded with fresh toppings. The worker was very friendly and helpful for us first-timers, and we'll definitely be back! The addition of a Hi Chew candy is super fun, too.”
“I’m a notoriously picky eater and I don’t exit my culinary comfort zone very often. This meal was worth it from start to finish. It’s a quaint and relaxed atmosphere, with personable and phenomenal service. The four course dinner is more like 7 courses, and they space it out incredibly well. The staff was talkative and engaging without being intrusive. The flavor profile was incredible. I really can’t articulate how tremendously sublime any of the nigiri or sashimi was. This place gave me a “Ratatouille” flashback to other dishes that I’ve savored when I had the soup. It was that good”
“@deweyspizza 5/5 Will return. My wife's first time and wanted to try to white sauce. It was the best pizza she's had. Lexie and Zoe were amazing. There was a mess up in the kitchen; which doesn't happen often. They helped address it right away. Service was great. Clean and lively. Enjoyed the low key staff hints that we were waiting. Shows good communication imo.Vegetarian options: Large amount of veggie options as well as you don't get meat cross contamination at a pizza place as far as i know.”
“Looking for a hearty breakfast and well made coffee to set me up for full day on the Loop and surrounding area, and this place hit it on both. Had the Bruno on everything bagel with extra bacon and it was chock full…maybe even over generous on the eggs, but I was happy about that. Chilled atmosphere made even better by the eighties tunes they put on whilst I was there.”
“I have been here a couple of times. Both times we had great interaction with the owner and his wife. This is not your typical St Louis Chinese food. The food at this location is a cut above. Every single item I tried on both occasions was spectacular. I would rate this as the highest quality Chinese food in St Louis.Do not miss the opportunity to try this restaurant!”
“This is a great place for a casual meal lunch or dinner. Hand-made pizza, pasta dishes, hamburgers, salad, and appetizers. They have happy hours, karaoke and live music too.”
“Food was excellent. But I went and sat at the bar because it was just me. I had been craving Indian food all week and this hit the spot perfectly.but I felt like guide them through service as if I was training a new hire at my restaurant.”
“Delicious curry sauce, fresh rice, and freshly fried katsu, always the best for a quick meal and a great deal for your dollar. Despite not having the event, Katsuya was very nice and amazing to help plan catering to an event. If you're looking for large catering options for a great price, please stop by and ask, they're amazing!”
