“Louie has many amazing dishes to choose from and everyone was very hospitable:) No reservation and went as a party of two at 5:00pm and were sat immediately by the pizza oven, which was so fun to watch! The roman gnocco was amazing ✨ our server Avry was also so nice.”

I loved being able to do the four course meal with some of the specials. It was wonderful to see the dining room full in this well-established restaurant in the heart of Clayton. I remember being wowwed when I first dined at The Crossing 25 years ago and it is still just as fabulous! We cannot wait to return.”

Everything sounded so good it was tough to decide what to get. We all got different meals to share and all of it was delicious! And pretty big portions, oh it was SO good. I had a medicinal mushroom coffee tasted great and had me feeling great all day.”

“I want to give a HUGE s/o to the CLAYTON Berrybox. A specific thank you to Ashlyn(spell check the name) and the morning crew on 4/22. I am currently on crutches and can’t move the fastest. I called and asked if curbside delivery was an option. Ashlyn said no, but then replied “how far are you and I’ll run it out.” That’s the definition of customizing customer service for each customer. Thank you Berrybox this has truly made my morning! And of course the açaí bowl was on point and fresh PER USUAL!!”

“City Coffee House & Creperie is a great place to escape, the vibe is that of a hidden cafe. The food is always great, I love their lemon curd crepe, opted for the waffle this time to celebrate National Pancake Day (a waffle is just a pancake with cups to hold the syrup I’ve been told). You cannot go wrong with any selection on the board. Fresh ingredients and great staff!!”

“Great coffee shop!! It was half a mile from my hotel so I walked there, enjoyed the nice scenery and it was on a Saturday so traffic was very minimal. Service was great and they are creative with their foam designs. Coffee was very good! If you're in the Clayton business district in St. Louis, I highly recommend going here!!”

“I was in the area looking for a nice meal for lunch at work. I stumbled across Sauce on the Side. I ordered one of the choices of Calzone. Later, after I bit into the sandwich for the first time, I knew it was a hit. Everything about it was perfect. I also ordered a salad. OMG... lettuce and meat everywhere throughout the salad. It was fresh and quite tasty. I was so satisfied after eating my lunch that I know I'll be visiting Sauce on the Side again and again.”

I asked Allison for some recommendations as I was looking for a meal replacement. She was super friendly and helpful with my decision. “Ordered Oklahoma Onion Burger and Ember (mocktail). The burger was okay. Nothing too special except for the sauce on the side. It was really good. The mocktail was really good. Overall experience would be so ordinary except that we got a great server named Jonathan who was so attentive to our table. He did a really good job!”
