“This is the best dining experience my partner and I ever had. The food was excellent, really amazing. Every dish was a classic that was elevated by incredible, fresh ingredients and expert preparation. The flavors, textures and balance were perfect.

Every person we interacted with was genuine and warm. They were relaxed and precise. You could tell the staff are top tier professionals that love their job, love making people feel welcome, and love the restaurant.

We left Louie and almost cancelled our next plans so we could end the night on such a high note.”

“I think this may be my new favorite restaurant in St. Louis. The ambience alone is absolutely beautiful, but combine that with amazing food and impeccable service and you have a winner. Best oysters I’ve ever had, and those Gruyère puffs are insanely good. I had the Bavette steak, and my husband had the chicken cordon bleu… Incredible! You cannot miss out on the drinks; the cocktails are so good and the spritz hour is a great deal. Highly recommend!”

“Haven't been back to St. Louis for awhile and knew we needed to go to The Crossing for dinner. Jim Fiala and his team hits it out of the park in every way. 3 courses paired with wine and each spot on. Last time there we brought our own wine as it was a special bottle. No problem as long as it wasn't on their list and the wine cellar is extensive. If you want an extraordinary dining experience please go.”

“Two couples meeting to celebrate a retirement. Service and food were top notch. He walked us through the menu, suggesting meal pairings. Severs never hovered, but swept in when needed. Three of four steaks were about perfect. The 4th was quickly resolved with no issue. Lobster maccaroni and cheese and roasted Brussel sprouts were very good.”

“Went there for a 70th birthday party. So you had a limited choice of items instead of the full menu, which is to be expected when serving a big group. Even so, still one of the best meals that I’ve had in St. Louis.”

“City Coffee House & Creperie is a great place to escape, the vibe is that of a hidden cafe. The food is always great, I love their lemon curd crepe, opted for the waffle this time to celebrate National Pancake Day (a waffle is just a pancake with cups to hold the syrup I’ve been told). You cannot go wrong with any selection on the board. Fresh ingredients and great staff!!”

Best choice I've made all week, I live about 20 minutes from the restaurant and when I got home to eat I was amazed. The Calzone was delicious and the dough was so soft and full of flavor. Will definitely be back, I will be recommending sauce on the side to all my friends.”

“We ate at this new restaurant in Clayton tonight. Super clean and beautifully decorated! We ordered Black Pepper Garlic Steak Bites, Mustard cucumber, sea cucumber mini dumplings as appetizer. Tonkotsu Ramen, Spicy Miso Ramen, Bulgogi and the Korean cold noodle soup, and it all tasted delicious. The owners are very friendly and great people. We will definitely come back.”

Add some older lady come and ask us to quiet down just kind of funny because it was a Friday night, but she didn't really affect our evening. “I was able to attend brunch on Saturday at Ibby's. The waiter and host were very nice and were attentive the whole time. The food came out very quickly and was pretty good. I really like their muffin and the cookie they had on the dessert menu.”

I asked Allison for some recommendations as I was looking for a meal replacement. She was super friendly and helpful with my decision.
