“The Crossing Restaurant did a remarkable job the other evening when we dined there. We had impeccable service and outstanding food. I loved being able to do the four course meal with some of the specials. It was wonderful to see the dining room full in this well-established restaurant in the heart of Clayton. I remember being wowwed when I first dined at The Crossing 25 years ago and it is still just as fabulous! We cannot wait to return.”

“Great place for a date night. We made the reservation online the same day with no problems (it was a Tuesday though). Weekends need to be reserved in advance.
Teddy greeted us and showed the games and how everything works there. He is super nice and friendly! Our server Tamara was very prompt and nice. I can see how busy this place can be but on a week night it is lively but not super busy.

The service is superb, the design is great, the food and drinks are good. Happy hour is until 6 pm.”

I couldn't wait to get to this place. 5 Star Burgers - Clayton Last time i had the Bison burger and it has been in my memory ever since. I understand this location also won the best burger award last month. Think they might be in line for another one. Today i got the 5 Star Burger, Fries N Shake. They put a toasted marshmallow in the shake. I never had a toasted marshmallow before so that was a very nice addition and gave them some points on the wow factor. The burger is presented as what i would call a craft burger. The fries we salted nice and came straight out of the grease to my table. I do wish there was more shake but i find any reason to take points off for that. Liz was so wonderful, customer service was above and beyond!!!! Cant wait to get back here...

“You made our anniversary dinner so special! From the table with a rose and a card signed by the staff , desert mini cakes that were perfect finish for a great dinner, and finally, an extra cheese to go on the house, which we didn't expect at all! The service was amazing and the manager stopped by to wish us happy anniversary! Just WOW!”

Everything sounded so good it was tough to decide what to get. We all got different meals to share and all of it was delicious! And pretty big portions, oh it was SO good. “I want to give a HUGE s/o to the CLAYTON Berrybox. A specific thank you to Ashlyn(spell check the name) and the morning crew on 4/22. I am currently on crutches and can’t move the fastest. I called and asked if curbside delivery was an option. Ashlyn said no, but then replied “how far are you and I’ll run it out.” That’s the definition of customizing customer service for each customer. Thank you Berrybox this has truly made my morning! And of course the açaí bowl was on point and fresh PER USUAL!!”

“City Coffee House & Creperie is a great place to escape, the vibe is that of a hidden cafe. The food is always great, I love their lemon curd crepe, opted for the waffle this time to celebrate National Pancake Day (a waffle is just a pancake with cups to hold the syrup I’ve been told). You cannot go wrong with any selection on the board. Fresh ingredients and great staff!!”

“My sandwich and coffee were very good. We can in to a very busy shop. We ordered and got our food in a timely manner. The music being played was fun and added to the vibe! We will be back for more whole bean coffee. We are giving the summer profile and two of the espresso blends a try. Keep it up! A wonderful shop you all have put together.”

“Returned after a couple of years. I think it's still a good place for a casual meal, certainly we spent a third of normal. The food was good. The bread remains a standout. My Aperol Spritz was awesome! Our server was very attentive with a bright smile and happy attitude. We were seated at the old Sardella side which brought back nostalgic memories. We don't eat nearly as much as we used to, appetizers have to be shared or none, if we're having salad. During our meal a lady came to our table with a bowl of brussels sprouts. She said it was something free from the kitchen for us to try. We found it strange that no other table got one. Brussel sprouts aren't something we eat or ever order. She left before we could speak. We felt bad because it was a very gracious gesture wasted on us. We did taste one. They were very good, if you like them and they don't tear up you GI system.”

“This is very much a classic busy office coffee shop that actually does good coffee. The barista’s are fantastic. I travel for work and I’m not here every day. But when I come back after a month or two, they still remember my name and some of them still remember my drink. They are quick, they are nice, and the food and coffee are both amazing.”

“I was in the area looking for a nice meal for lunch at work. I stumbled across Sauce on the Side. I ordered one of the choices of Calzone. Later, after I bit into the sandwich for the first time, I knew it was a hit. Everything about it was perfect. I also ordered a salad. OMG... lettuce and meat everywhere throughout the salad. It was fresh and quite tasty. I was so satisfied after eating my lunch that I know I'll be visiting Sauce on the Side again and again.”

I tried the coconut shrimp, and while the flavor was good, the portion felt like it could have used a little more to make it feel complete for the price. A small side like rice would have paired nicely with it. Overall, it was a comfortable place for lunch, and I can see it being a good fit for someone looking for a chill spot with a more upscale menu.”

“Picture this: Sunday afternoon, sun shining, light wind blowing, and the perfect seat on a rooftop patio! The atmosphere was wonderful. The food was beyond delicious. I experienced the chicken and waffles. I was blown away because they used chicken thighs, my favorite chicken parts. I also tried the avocado smash with home fries. Again my taste buds were so satisfied! A special thank you to Dorian who made us feel welcomed and shared a couple laughs with us. I'll definitely come back to experience other plates during sunset.”

“I was running late to a Sunday appointment in Clayton and needed something quick. Smoothie King was a perfect option due to lack of open businesses and a quick bite on a Sunday in Clayton. I asked Allison for some recommendations as I was looking for a meal replacement. She was super friendly and helpful with my decision.
