“They have bookshelves of kids books.Easily the best burgers in town.Fantastically simple menu with lots of flavors.Something for everyone.Great beers on tap.Sports of the moment on ambient TV's.Hands down the best prices for any place to eat out!!!Feed a family of four fully for less than 50 bucks...But you're going to want to leave a big tip, the servers are top-notch and always looking out for you!“
“Food was amazing! First time having birria tacos amazing experience I loved it! The chicken street tacos amazing! Everything was seasoned so good the Diablo sauce was very spicy and good. The corn was my daughter’s favorite! Definitely coming back again.“
“This is an order at the counter and pick your seat establishment, so be prepared when you walk in to potentially wait in line for a bit. The service is always top notch and the food is always out fast and well cooked. The restaurant is clean and homey with a fireplace and wooden chairs. There is a little market with on theme home goods, shirts, and toys.“
“Five starts in every way! Adorable space, impeccable service, and delightful food and drink! I brought a friend and two older adults. We each had something different--biscuits and gravy, the stuffed French toast, and a burger. Everyone loved everything. We also had drinks. I love my gin and tonic and the black pepper and? Bloody Mary was delicious. I also took some sandwich cookies and some gooey butter cake home! Perfection! I can't wait to come back to the Blue Duck!“
“The burgers and apps are very good. The fries are OK. The service was very friendly but a little slow. Plan for this to be a longer eating experience.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian patty could be subbed on all burgersDietary restrictions: Gluten free bun able to be subbed on all burgers.“
“Austin helped us out this time, and I have to say he gave some of the best service we've ever got at this location. He was attentive, funny, kind, and overall awesome. I hope anyone who comes here gets him as your server. Keep up the phenomenal work my guy!“
“Stopped in for brunch on Sunday shortly after they opened. Staff was very friendly and the food delicious. Seating is limited indoors but there is outdoor seating when the weather is good. The owner Tim man's the kitchen and pumps out some really delicious and creative dishes if you're able to get in. Will be back to try the items I did not have room to try this time like the Eggs Benedict, Biscuit & Gravy and the five onion soup.“
“I tried their signature burger and it was absolutely delicious, with juicy patties and all the classic toppings. The onion rings were also a standout, perfectly crispy and flavorful. The service was prompt and efficient, making it easy to grab a quick meal on the go.While prices are affordable, the quality of the food is still top-notch.Chuck-A-Burger Drive-In Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of nostalgia and delicious burgers!“
“AMAZING! I’m a sucker for smoked meats! I do wish they had smoked chicken options as some people do not eat red meat, and get tired of Turkey! All in all great service from all staff! Especially the cashiers who go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your experience! TIP THE HOSTS!!“
“Got the pastrami sandwich, cauliflower and smoked turkey gyros, and fish sandwich. Got the kimchi brussel sprouts and pickled beet salad. The sides were super delicious and paired very well with the sandwiches. Highly recommend the pastrami sandwich!“
“First time trying and all I have to say is AWESOME AWESOME FOOD I had the Build your Brat with sourkraut and the bacon bacon Jamaica fries my wife had the Hawaii 5 0 everything was ? ????? and to Steve L.O.T.C LOVES THE PLACE KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK “
“My daughter lives very near here so we went to lunch after a day of antiquing. The food was amazing, I had the bacon cheeseburger and fries, absolutely delicious. Cocktails were fresh and original and the outdoor seating was great. Only issue was our server, who seemed more interested in socializing with other staff members, so we gave up trying to order a 2nd round and just paid the tab. Will def come back and just hope we don't get the same server.“
“One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Garden-style patio seating for nice days. Also, for you East Coasters: They have Yuengling on tap ? Thanks for having us!!!Parking: My friend & I found a spot on the street less than a block away within 5 minutes (on a Saturday, 3/16, at around 2 PM)“
“The chicken is really good, especially Nashville Hot! I love their fries the most, but unfortunately when I order they are often undercooked. Sometimes the fries are too big and they get undercooked, as shown in the pic. Chicken is great, but sometimes a little too chewy. The staff is very nice and the pickup is usually ready right around the time it says it will be.“
“Came on with no reservation and was sat right away. Amelia gave us wonderful and quick service but I feel she went above and beyond making multiple suggestions that made our experience even better. The staff was friendly and helpful, overall we enjoyed for a quick last minute weekday dinner!“
“Excellent food and so tasty! The spice blends and selection are spot on and delicious. Cajun and spicy ketchup are my favorite. Why spend money on sad greasy food at a chain restaurant when instead you can support a small business? Five stars of course.“
“The food & service were both Great! We ordered our food for pick up & once we looked around, we decided to eat there. The manager was on point, he made rounds to all the tables. The burgers were hot & delicious. I had to take my chili to go...but the turtle shake didn't make it home!“
“It's a great place to go and have breakfast. The place is small and always packed. Even when they are busy, the wait hasn't been more than 20 minutes. The food is always good and it's very affordable. I have yet to be disappointed.“
“What an amazing restaurant. Great food and food selections. The Jack was the nicely seasoned and hot. The spaghetti was delicious, the service, atmosphere, overall hospitality was awesome.Parking: Honestly I'm not sure if there's additional parking in the back /parking lot. Our party had lunch and found a spot on the street near the front of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: It does have a wheelchair ramp.“
“Just a heads up they do have a sign that says they can search you before entering. We came in a Saturday night and it was busy! They had two customers celebrating their birthday so the bar decorated the entire place! There is a DJ in a booth. There is a stage to dance. Outside there is two covered seating areas, fire pits and tons of room for at least fifty people. The bartenders were very nice. They made us lemon drops which were delicious. The atmosphere is very neat, laid back and fun. They promote for 35 and up for the "grown and sexy." It is a club feel.“
“Tried this restaurant yesterday. Had a reservation for Valentine’s Day. The food was really good and the waiter was nice. The restaurant wasn’t really crowded when we got there and we still had to wait. The table we got was a high top by the bar, would have preferred a booth or other table in the dining area but all in all it was a good experience. I’d go back for another steak, it was delicious.Dietary restrictions: Peanut free facilityParking: Lots of spots“
“First time eating here the food was pretty good wanted to dine in but the area was too small for us with the traffic coming in and out the only thing I didn't like about my food was I didn't see my cheese on my fries n my guy egg roll wasn't crispy but overall the service was great the lady was very polite and the cool aide was on point we will be coming back“
“I stopped there for their metal brunch on a Sunday morning soon after they opened. The place wasn't busy yet, and we easily found a table for four. I instantly fell in love with the interior (brick arches, tall ceilings, and a bar in the middle making the space feel open and airy), and I hoped that their food would be equally satisfying. And it was! Everything I tried was absolutely delicious! I ordered a veggie beni and a Bloody Mary, but I also sampled what my friends ordered (like stuffed french toast and side dishes). Even though I live 3 hours away from Soulard, I can't wait to go back for more!“
“Great place for burgers, fries and cheese curds. The owner is very nice. He comes around to each table and talks to you like you’re his friend. I’ve been 2x and I love walking distance. This will be definitely be my hang out!!! Thank you “
“It has been many years since we have been to Sam's Steakhouse so decided to go last Saturday night. Very pleased with our visit. General Manager Mark Erney made sure everything was exceptional, Food and service was fantastic. We will return and make sure to tell friends and family.Parking: Didn't have a problem parking close to restaurant.“
“Pretty good burger joint. Staff wasn't overly friendly, couldn't tell if that was the vibe or not. Burger was on point tho. I got the toklahoma with fries and they were fantastic. I hadnt been feeling well for a day and was a welcomed meal. daughter had just a plain burger and she ate the whole thing.“
“Great Restaurant, the cashier who’s name is TK seated me and my friends and had us try some awesome food ever since then i come in once a week and I’ve been trying something new from their menu once a week will definitely be a regular customer at STL City “
“I customized my burger and I love the options they have. I would like to try their Taco burger and special shakes. The employee who helped me was so nice and kind. You don’t see that kind of employee’s now a days. The wait time was short too. The store inside is clean and spacious.Vegetarian options: Impossible burger and salads.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free foodWheelchair accessibility: Close disabled parking spots.“
“My wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time the other night. No reservation. Wait time was told to be 20-25 minutes, although our actual wait was only a portion of that time. They use a text service to alert you to your table being ready. So this was a plus for us - not having to stand inside and crowd the interior. We were able to peruse a partial menu on the outside wall of the restaurant - giving us an idea of what was served here. Our table was ready shortly after and we were then promptly seated at a booth table (perfect IMO).It took a few minutes for the host to realize we had been seated and were waiting for him to take our order. But once he noticed, we were taken care of without issue. Drinks and an appetizer were ordered and came out quickly. Followed by our main meal not long after. The food was delicious and IMO worth the cost. Our visit was very good. The ambiance of the restaurant is that of a rustic and old time kind of feel. Lots of various drink mixes and brews to pick from for all your thirst quenching needs. And the food is within reason for cost. Not sure if ths is a child friendly environment as we didn't see anyone there that wasn't obviously an adult. So check before you bring the littles out.Overall, this was a good spot for a sit down meal and conversation with the wife. Highly recommended.“
“I love Fitz's South County. The food and service have always been amazing. Though I usually get takeout, I always look forward to a dinner out at this location.Kid-friendliness: Staff were good with kids. Gave my boy a sample of rootbeer. (He doesn't like sodas)“
“I really like this place. Always fresh and friendly staff. They have some delicious macaroni, and I always crave the Caribbean corn and jerk chicken wings. The plantains are good also. There is no inside dining, just fyi. Tasty food and nice staff.“
“Good was great. Staff was very nice. Atmosphere is very cute.But...Tiny portions. Burgers are small. Onion rings were small and there were 7-8 in an order. So order more than you think you need. Also their "make it in house" root beer is just IBC. Making it in house is just combining soda with syrup like every fountain drink ever.“
“I wish I could give our waitress 10 stars. She was so awesome. She told jokes to the kids & made them laugh with her quirky personality! So sweet. She brought us all our regular before we even asked! It was a very early dinner (4:15) but the place was already very busy! The staff functioned like a well oiled machine random people bringing or food or sometimes when our waitress was busy. Overall a great experience!“
“Delicious sandwiches! I’m not a big French fry eater … but I ateEverySingleOne !!!My husband and I had a 1/2 pastrami 1/2 corned beef Rueben sandwich and one being a mushroom and Swiss burger .Fabulous !! Ate it all !Service was quick and order was correct.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible.“
“**Cash Discount**Fergie's is a neighborhood staple that we're lucky to have around. The place is popular with an older crowd, so even if you try to get ahead of them and eat dinner at 4:30, the place is likely already busy. All the staff is pleasant, courteous, and takes care of their customers.I don't know about much else here other than the fried chicken. It's some of the best in STL hands down; half a chicken, two sides, and a roll for only $10 can't be beat, just make sure you have the time to wait... it's all cooked to order!“
“For my first time here, I really liked it! It’s a decent chicken joint with several different levels of spice for said chicken. I got 5 tenders on the level 1, because it was my first time and I didn’t wanna go too high on the levels and end up not enjoying it. If you’re a first-timer like I was, I’d recommend either level 1 or 2. One of my friends had level 2 and I was able to handle that alongside level 1. The chicken itself was super tasty, and what I liked about it the most was there was a lot of meat and not a lot of breading; you find lots of places nowadays that have more breading than meat, but this wasn’t an issue at this place. 10/10, I’ll be sure to stop by again if I’m in St. LouisParking: Huge parking lot in front of the store that is free to park in“
“My partner and I tried a new Culver’s location and it was AWESOME. I grew up in Wisconsin and the fries were some of the best fries I’ve had at a Culver’s. Sissy was the person who checked me out and she was AMAZING. We high fived. Her energy was great. Jason, the manager, was the person who took my partner’s order and brought our food out. He was clear about extra charges for things and also very kind. The cheese curds, grilled cheese with tomato, and the concrete mixer were absolutely delicious. Thanks y’all! We will be backVegetarian options: They do have a veggie burger and grilled cheese, but I think that is it unless you go the salad route or ask to make mods. The majority of the sides are vegetarian and the custard!“
“My mom took me to this local spot, the staff has a great personality, very professional and friendly. My mom ordered me a Fatburger combo with wings & fries. My favorite part were the wings & fries. I had the honey hot flavor. ? The Fatbuger was alot for me lol but it does live up to its name lol. Give this place a try and see if you can take on The Fatbuger.Kid-friendliness: Has a kid menu ?“
“Stopped in before the Blues game; seemed like a good place to grab a quick bite. Was not disappointed. Service was really good, and that was probably one of the best pork chops I've ever eaten. We were in and out in plenty of time on a Saturday evening.“
“Excellent sandwiches and great service. I had the Muenster Melt, and it was simple but fantastically executed and constructed. The folks behind the counter were kind and our sandwiches came out quick. If you’re considering getting sandwiches for lunch, instead of throwing your money at one of the big corporate franchises, hit up Mound City for an affordable, high-quality experience. Places like these are too few nowadays, especially in STL.“
“This place is a life saver they are so nice they let me sit here till my ride got here cause my bf wasnt safe to be around and i needed some where to sit till my ride got here and they were very helpful i highly suggest people to come here its an amazing place i will never forget the “
“Great place for some delicious cheese sticks and a burger! They don't carry traditional Irish fare (like Shepards pie or bangers n mash), but the food they do serve is amazing! Big portions, too. Well worth the price. Always served hot and servers are all wonderful.“
“Hunter served our party of three on a chilly Tuesday afternoon in January. We enjoyed warm pretzels for our shared appetizer and I ordered the Sweet Tooth burger. Each ingredient was jam-packed with mouthwatering flavor.I've enjoyed their bison burgers in the past, their house-made ketchup, and their milkshakes. Unfortunately, I was so stuffed, I didn't have enough room to enjoy a milkshake this time. I plan on trying the Szechuan burger the next time I get the chance to dine in.Their new location in the Shaw neighborhood is cute. I love their color scheme. But I do miss their original location in downtown.“
“Definitely the best place for breakfast in the 63123 zip code....and beyond. I tried the burger a few years ago and have never ordered one since, But, it appears they have completely changed the burgers so no comment there. I do question the pancakes. I only ate them once and they tasted like angel food cake to me, which is nasty with maple syrup. Huge disappointment there.Overall a great place to visit. Highly recommended“
“The Parkmoor Drive-In is the trifecta of food, service, and in a beautiful neighborhood. Those breakfast potatoes are what dreams are made of! Brunch is definitely a favorite of ours, but their lunch is great, too. There's plenty of options for the whole family.“
“I like the music they decide to play and the fry cooks are amazing. Jon is a master at his trade as well as the rest of the cooks as well but particularly Jon who has an intention to detail like a clock maker. Methodical in fact. Really enjoyed the restaurant and the atmosphere and all of it!“
“I came in this morning for breakfast and was helped by Echo. I hope I am getting her name right. She was friendly and so hard working. The food was excellent. This was my first breakfast being back in the states after 3 years of living abroad and everything about it was perfect. I got the spicy poblano omelette with hashbrowns. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Echo was the only server, it was very early, but she was so fast and attentive and friendly to everyone who was there.“
“We love this place. Tasty pizza that isn't too overwhelming, good side bits, and a pleasant evening for not too much cash money. Folks are nice, too.Parking: The parking lot is very small, but it's okay because you can park on the neighborhood street right nearby.“
“The burger was so delicious, cooked to perfection. The fries were well seasoned I didn't need to add any black pepper. Person who took the order was very friendly. Not a traditional restaurant where you have a designated server, but definitely worth a try if you want something quick, yummy, and not too crowded.“
“It's such a fun little place. I got the tacos, and they were amazing. Would highly recommend them. My wife and son got the burger and were super impressed with them. My daughter got the chicken strips. They were kinda thin and smaller but were really good aswell. Had a great beer selection if you wanted a beer with your meal. The server was great, kept our drinks full, and was super nice.“
