“We had a party of 6 on Saturday night. Great service. Outstanding food had by everyone. A few in the party ordered the Lasagna after they were out of Ossobuco. They loved the Lasagna, the Chicken Risotto was one of the best I ever had, although I modified it by adding mushrooms. We did start out with appetizers and the Roasted Wild Mushroom app and Toasted Ravoli were incredible. Highly recommend this place.“

“I go to the Shack at least once a month. I was there recently and received excellent food and service. Jennifer was great server, nothing was too much trouble. She helped move all of our coats and bags in order to change our seats. She was cheerful and helpful. I bring my out-of-town guests here often. The menu includes healthy,creative, delicious entrees, and as well as gluten free options.“

“I've been looking for a week night meal planning solution for a while. After doing some research on local options, I decided to give Fit Flavors a shot. They offer delivery, but also have several brick and mortar locations with great selection - that flexibility was really appealing.

I went to the Brentwood location on Sunday, to check it out. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by Diamond. I warned her in advance that I had tons of questions. She smiled and answered all of them in turn, answering questions about the delivery model, shelf life of meals, whether they freeze well (they do apparently, though I haven't tried this myself yet), and walking me through how the store was set up. She was absolutely great!

I selected 6 meals to get me through the work week dinner plan, with a bonus meal for lunch on a random day. All of the meals were labeled very well, with macros clearly displayed - great for those looking to hit specific macro targets. I also picked up some Bulk Grilled Chicken (4 chicken breasts cooked in herbs and olive oil) for good measure.

Two meals and two chicken breasts in, and I am very impressed. The quality is top notch and the meals are delicious. I think I've found my weeknight dinner meal plan solution.“

“Great burgers! I LOVED my TriPPPy burger which has a pineapple chutney and bacon jam. You will want extra napkins with that one.? My husband built his own burger to get just what he wanted and enjoyed his burger. They also have veggie options, but these carnivores did not explore them.“

“I visited this bakery this morning and, unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the customer service.
I arrived at 7:59 a.m. and watched a young lady come outside to place the folding sign by the door. I asked if they were opening, and she replied, Not yet. By 8:03 a.m., the doors were still locked, and even she had to knock on the glass to be let inside.
Once inside, I asked if cinnamon rolls were available. She said yes, but then went to the back and returned to tell me they were not ready because someone was still putting the icing on them. I asked how long it would be, and she simply said the employee was icing them.
At 8:06 a.m., another employee came out carrying the cinnamon rolls and asked if I had been waiting for them. When I said yes, she turned to the cashier and asked why she hadn't told her I was waiting. The cashier had never mentioned it. Had she done so, the employee said she would have immediately iced one and given it to me.
I explained to the cashier, whose name was Zoe, that I was on my way to work and that the situation reflected poor customer service. Unfortunately, she never smiled, apologized, or acknowledged the inconvenience.
What made this experience especially disappointing is that I visit this bakery two to three times a week, and I have always enjoyed both the products and the service. This was the first time I felt like a valued, loyal customer was simply dismissed. I hope management addresses this so future customers receive the friendly, attentive service I've come to expect from this bakery.

“We stopped in yesterday for lunch at the recommendation of friends who live in the area. So glad we did—everything was delicious and customer service was top notch. The kids devoured a cheese pizza and my husband and I ordered a half Dr. Dre and half Tito Santana (seasonal). Both were amazing! We also split the peppercorn ranch salad—which, with its homemade dressing was also amazing. We’ll be back when we are in the area again!“

“We visited the Art Museum last week and then had lunch at The Panorama resturant at the suggestion of a friendly person we met earlier at the Half and Half in Clayton. This person told us about how great the brussel sprouts were at the Panorama and so we had to try them and they were fabulous. All of us, including my mother, who is 88 years young, thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We set next to the large wall of windows and the sun shone perfectly, lighting the room with a beautiful warmth. The server was excellent and the menu becons our return.“

“My husband and I stopped in Saturday night. We are new to the area and someone referred us to check it out. We sat at the bar and the bartender's name was Ashley! She was so nice, gave us her favorites and recommendations. I tried the Elderberry Martini which was delish! My husband had the smoked Old Fashion. I love the great variety of the menu. And they offer a Gluten free menu. I wanted to try everything. We landed on the firecracker cauliflower appetizer which was amazing. For dinner we had the Cajun pasta and the Fish and chips. El Chico was so easy to work with, so kind, and so helpful. “Ok, here’s the thing… I love food. And when I say I love food, you might think I’m a huge person or a food critic or a chef or just a dramatic fan. Well, I am actually an artist, and I… I can tell you in no uncertain terms, that the food we received was *high art.* I don’t mean the kind of pretentious high art food that is served in tiny portions and so beautiful that you almost don’t want to eat it. I mean that it was masterfully created—flavorful, textured to perfection, filling, and lamentable *only* in that I wish I’d had room for more. We started with the stuffed mushroom appetizer—which I’ll admit is not usually my favorite, but my wife generally loves—served upon a sprinkle of arugula and a slashed drizzle of balsamic glaze. Imma tell ya… I like stuffed mushrooms now. My wife ordered an entrée of eggplant Parmesan—one that she doesn’t care to make often for herself only because (and I’m quoting), “It’s a pain in the a$$ to cook.” I ordered linguine Pomodoro with added shrimp and had the steamed mussels appetizer served with my entrée, so that I could add them in (as I *do* love a tutto mare). Since my wife’s entrée was one of her favorites, and I don’t generally care for it, I left her to it, concentrating on my own. I shucked all the mussels and strained their accompanying shallots and bacon into my linguine leaving the garlic and cilantro pesto behind for bread dipping. OH [*clap*clap*clap*]—I forgot to mention the bread. They served a fantastic mini loaf of the softest bread topped with caramelized onions alongside fresh grated Parmesan in olive oil. Upon our finishing it off, I asked for a second helping. Back to the entrée… My first actual bite was of the mussels, and that bite was fantastic. Then I had one of the shrimp… and… here’s the thing… I am a poet, and I also write children’s books, so when I tell you that I simply do not have a superlative sufficient to describe the shrimp, you know I’m being serious. It was warm, seasoned, and snappy as shrimp should be, but it gave me pause—as Anton Ego in Ratatouille. * First, doubt—that I had experienced something so specifically wonderful before * Then, a quick scan from childhood to now for confirmation * And lastly, the comfort that can only come from those happiest memories of childhood—Christmas mornings on receiving more than you could ever have hoped for, Halloween nights’ preparations for what giggles and terrors were to come, and burrito-you ensconced in soft blankets straight from the dryer Then of course, the rest of the dish, twirled and slurped—not too quickly… every bite a confirmation and yet still a revelation. Here again, my only lament that I must see a portion of it boxed to leave room for dessert. And… dessert. Oh, boy… Seeing all of the items, my wife and I—in celebration of our 26th anniversary—decided on the sampler. Listen up, folks: flourless chocolate torta, crème custard napoleon, and gooey butter cake. JFC are you serious? Every bite more sumptuous—more scrumptious than the last. Every bit a reassurance that I will return. Our server, Chelsea, was commendable not only for her menu knowledge and sense of humor, but it’s not for nothing that she was absolutely on top of it with regard to my tea refills (which were many, as our dinner took place after a dehydratingly-busy workday for me). We will definitely be returning to Eleven Eleven, whereupon I intend to try a few different items, my palate then flooded with new sensations—new wonders… my only lament that I will not ever have that “first time experience” again.“
