Gobble Stop Smokehouse offers amazing fall-off-the-bone barbecue, including their highly sought-after turkey ribs and turkey tips. The potato salad is reminiscent of homemade, and the buffalo chicken sandwich is a standout. The friendly staff and great service make this humble smokehouse a must-visit.
The restaurant has been part of the community for a long time, and the quality of food and service has remained consistent. Customers praise the phenomenal food, friendly staff, and welcoming atmosphere. The space is small and unassuming, but they focus solely on turkey and chicken products, which many customers appreciate.
Reviewers highlight the kid-friendly environment with ample seating, as well as appropriate music and TV shows. The service is quick and personable, with staff described as kind and helpful, especially when it comes to menu questions. The food, including turkey ribs, fried chicken sandwich, and smoked wings, is consistently praised as great, fresh, and served hot upon pickup. One customer mentioned that the smoked chicken is the best they've ever had, praising the flavor, generous portions, and friendly staff.
However, some reviews express frustration with inconsistent hours and poor communication about opening times, which can cause inconvenience for customers coming from the city or during lunch breaks. Despite this, many still enjoy the good food and appreciate the friendly service when available.
