“I stopped going to Starbucks bc of union busting and many other reasons, but I went this past weekend bc I just needed fast caffeine! The drive thru person taking orders was SO uplifting, kind and genuinely made my day better. It’s so rare to have such a positive interaction these days and it was truly special to me. If Starbucks let its workers unionize and I’d visit regularly again.“

“Very clean place, and the servers are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always with a smile on their faces. The café also has a great view and is an excellent spot for studying since it’s very quiet and plays soft classical music. Our order was somehow mixed up, but they fixed it quickly and politely, again with a smile. The staff here are truly kind and absolutely wonderful!

Ps, the coffee is the same like every other Starbucks place ! 😌“

If you’re in the mood for a reliable grande latte and a few minutes of mobile-app scrolling, this Starbucks on Tesson Ferry is a solid stop. The baristas are friendly, the space is clean enough to pretend you’re checking emails in a fancy lobby. 

A few quirks:
• When it gets busy, you might find yourself staring into your iced coffee like it holds the answers to the universe — and wondering why your chai latte is taking so long. Reviewers mention sanitation and prep speed could use a boost. 
• It’s dependable for study-sessions or meet-ups, but if you need “blazing fast service while simultaneously conquering life,” you might leave slightly under-conquered. 

All told: I’d go back. Comfortable spot, good coffee, minimal drama. Just maybe don’t expect the coffee gods to deliver your order via lightning bolt.“

“I really can’t say enough about how awesome the staff at the Butler Hill Starbucks is. The drinks are always perfect, they’re incredibly fast, and the customer service can’t be beat. Even in a drive-through environment, they somehow make every interaction feel personal. Huge shoutout to Alexis and her amazing staff — their ability to consistently deliver a perfect beverage while always smiling and being so friendly is what keeps me coming back. Every. Single. Day. “No drive-thru and the parking lot isn't great. There's almost always right in front of Starbucks thanks to designated parking for Starbucks customers, but there is typically only one entrance to the lot (from Clayton Rd) and the lanes are very narrow.

The staff here are friendly, coffee is always delicious, and mobile orders are typically filled quickly. I had one long wait a year ago, but have been back several times since and my coffee is always ready when I arrive.“

“I do enjoy a special treat at Starbucks. This particular location (mason/Clayton) makes great drinks, has ample parking and are very friendly. I usually order a hot mocha but opted for a toasted white chocolate mocha at the advice of the Barista...it was delicious!“

“This Starbucks is Drive-Thru and Walk-Up Window only. There is no inside cafe to sit and chat or work on your laptop. It is a grab and go coffee shop.

I didn't realize there was no inside, so I parked and walked up to the building. Only then did I realize how small it was and that there was no inside service. So instead of getting back into my car and going through the drive-thru, I took advantage of the cute walk-up window.

Before I could even push the call button, one of the baristas came to the window to take my order. She was friendly and did a good upsell, so I added a Small Vanilla Scone to go with my Sweet Vanilla Creme.

Another barista brought my drink and scone to the window and she too, was friendly and professional. If I am in the area and craving caffeine, I will be sure to stop by again.“

“I haven’t been a Starbucks guy for a while now…preferring local, independent shops, of which there are plenty here in St Louis. But I live close to this Starbucks, and when we unexpectedly became a one car family for a few weeks, this became my office. And this Starbucks won me over. Rarely crowded inside, and the staff are so kind and helpful. The free refills on in-store coffee are HUGE, especially on long work days. And the staff proactively ask if I want a refill, bringing it to my table before I even notice to go check the bar. You get the sense they like having customers in store! I’ll just say—from one Starbucks cynic to any others—this store won me over and has made me a loyal customer. Whatever they’re doing, keep doing it!“

“The coffees are great, we all know that. Honestly, the staff are so busy it just takes forever now to get anything. I don't even know what else to say. I'm used to it, but if I order 2 drinks, they come out 10 to 15 minutes apart for some reason.“

“The red headed guy that worked the drive-thru this morning is an absolute delight! He was so upbeat, positive and friendly with an infectious laugh. He definitely has improved my mood this morning. I was talking about him to some colleagues and one of them knew exactly who I was talking about and raved about him as well.

We need more of him! :)“

“5 stars for service. Helped me with a bad drink from another location when it fell apart halfway across town. This probably isn't policy but shows excellent service and accountability for the basic product of all the stores. Still, don't expect this good of service at this or any other Starbucks. They went above and beyond and I greatly appreciate it.

Read some really aweful reviews of this store here by people who apparently are just doing it to get a review under their belt? Someone saying why pay the price etc... obviously a newbie to both the coffee and review world. Also someone complaining extensively that that cant get a free trenta water anymore... threatening to never come back and acting like the employees had a problem. um.... thays been rolling out at almost every starbucks in the Midwest. It can't be easy for them to say no but taking issue with it only makes it easier for them. 3 decades of stellar free water is enough. Time to adjust. Take your small freebie of the best triple-filtered water in modern society and be happy, friends. Don't slam a business. Crabs in a barrel, as we all are until we get our Starbucks fix.“

“Great service at this Starbucks, but they've renovated (2024) and it is no longer one of the welcoming, cozy Starbucks cafes.....
I think Starbucks is trying to get us to spend more time at our local one-off cafes. :/

“I absolutely love this location.The family atmosphere, the way they are intentional about meeting and greeting their customers and actually learning the things of their customers.It is absolutely amazing.It reminds me of the old t v show cheers when norm would come in, and everybody's ll would yell out Norm, I get that feeling every time I walk into the starbucks, and I am grateful that there's such a great crew, and there's so warm and inviting at all times!“

“I seriously love this Starbucks! The staff here always make my day. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and patient, even during the busy rush. My drinks are always made perfectly (they actually pay attention to the details), and the outside is always clean for it being just a drive through. You can tell the team really cares about their customers. They move fast but still take the time to be kind, which I appreciate so much. This is definitely my go-to location and I always leave in a better mood. Thank you guys for being amazing!“

“Deserves at least 4 stars. Ordered two drinks. Wait was just a little slow considering they were simple brewed coffee with cream, and an Americano (with extra shot & cream). Go for the Americano if you like your coffee fresh & hot - you won't be disappointed.“

“An employee by the name of Ashley really showed me a level of kindness that was unexpected. I placed a mobile order and I was going to cancel it when I stepped inside just because it was a busy morning and I didnt want to risk being late for work (not their fault at all). So when I stepped up to the POS and asked to have my order canceled, Ashley told me she would have the team push my order forward. And she really didnt have to do that and I know that the team is under a lot of pressure when the drive thru is busy and you have customers waiting as well. I just thought that was really sweet. It was a great interaction to start my day on a high note.“

“I go to the Starbuck's Dougherty Ferry location nearly every day. I do go to other locations from time to time, but the Dougherty Ferry location is my home base. The barista's and the store manager greet me by name the moment I walk in the door. They know my drink order - even down to knowing I am a hot and cold drinker based on the time of year. They have become friends that get my day started. I spend a lot of time working there. It's a comfortable atmosphere and I get a lot of work done! “Thought I'd grab a Christmas gift for a coworker. Buy a 5 dollar gift card, say "this cups on me" er something cheesey like that. I got a small pink drink as well. It's more than the darn gift card!! I probably can't buy anyone a good drink for $5. The smalls are very small too. Can't get a sip of strawberry flavored coconut milk for under 5 bucks? Why Starbucks... Yeah so I don't frequent da Bucks but dang it's expensive. Good taste and this particular one had good service but again, real expensive for what you're getting...“

They do their best to service you, Tower Grove is a DENSELY POPULATED AREA!!! Their store is small. Seriously, this is getting out of hand. Stop being so entitled, where is the empathy? Seriously. Starbucks is having understaffing issues right now. These employees work so hard, all of you customers, ALL OF YOU who leave one star reviews—like the one below me—you are ungrateful, horrible, entitled people. “I LOVE! this starbucks . The team is incredible. Rahul, Pallavi, and Coco are so kind, customer service oriented, and delivered the most amazing experience I’ve had yet. They were patient with me and gave me guidance on my order. They also recommended my new favorite drink: brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso (with cold foam?). For a university campus starbucks, it is hard to beat this place. I love it here and will definitely return.“

“I was happy to visit this convenient location for my birthday reward and use my stars for a cup of coffee.My food and coffee were both ready when I arrived. I dined in to enjoy my meal and saw the usual well orchestrated performance of the trained staff.I was finally able to taste the Chicken, maple butter and egg sandwich which had been out of stock lately when I wanted to order one. It was acceptable, but nothing special.As I left, I noticed a large amount of trash around the entrance. I looked for a trash can but saw none. Not a good idea if you want people to throw away their trash. Noone picked it up either which reflects poorly on management and the staff in general.“

Great Customer Service every time I go into the lobby. Starbucks is lucky to have him as part of its team. Keep up the good service, RJ. I will tell my family and friends about this location.“

“There is a huge volleyball tournament going on and the hotel is packed. Starbucks obviously busy. Twice I came here today and recieved zero interaction/Customer service/friendly vibe from the cashiers. Man it’s frustrating. We’re over paying for drinks we’re looking for at least an acknowledge that we are here.
It’s Starbucks, so of course we’ll be back but those two do not need to be behind the register.“

“Let’s get started!

This is a cute coffee shop, and it was my first time visiting. It’s in a friendly and very convenient area, and it has a drive-through, which is a big plus. The staff was very friendly. I didn’t go inside because I used the drive-through, so I can’t describe the interior, but everyone I interacted with was really nice.
I feel like every Starbucks makes the same drinks a little differently; you just have to find the one that fits your comfort best. This location is in a good area near South County Mall and is great for grabbing coffee on the go.

One thing to note: the place can be a bit hard to get to. The entrance is small, and the parking lot is compact, so make sure you slow down when turning in. There are a lot of people walking around, so drive carefully and watch for pedestrians.

Overall, it’s a cute little spot for drive-through coffee in a decent, busy area.“

“During our trip here for the Nike MEQ, this Starbucks was amazing. They were well staffed and able to handle the influx of thousands of people attending. Their service was fast, friendly, and consistently good. One lady remembered our names every morning and afternoon as they were able to get our food and drinks out to us faster than any other place in downtown.“
