“Ordered take out and decided to grab a drink at Tick Tock Tavern next door. The food was ready in about 20 min which was awesome! We ordered the Musubi, a plate of Kalua Pig and the Katsu chicken. We both subbed fried rice (awesome option just wish the Hawaiian fried rice was one) and dang was everything delicious! The Mac salad was a sweet tang complimentary to the umami flavors, the katsu was incredibly crispy and the chicken moist and yummy. We honestly can’t wait to go back and I’m dying to try the Tofu katsu!“
“I walked here for lunch today to try Papa Shih (but its closed) so had a small PokeDoke bowl instead. I havent been here since they moved (from across the street). Glad to see service has improved, nice attentive staff and food tastes good. Its a little hard to read the menu (at the top of the ceiling) thankfully they have the menu posted at the order counter as well. Only annoyance was that they dont put as much food in the small bowl as they used to. However, still pretty filling. “They definitely do not serve real Hawaiian food lol, but the food that was served was good ? The customer service was only okay, but you do get large portions, an expansive menu, decent prices for what you get, and all served fresh. What more could you ask for?“
“I can't say about the food because I didn't purchase anything there my girlfriend wanted some fish that she swears by She loves the flavor and she enjoys the taste of the meal .Myself I can't testify to the goodness she is bragging about. The wait time was short so all is well .“
“Not only is the food delicious here, but the people are top notch. I accidentally made an order at the Kirkwood location that was meant for U City; the two ladies immediately realized my mistake and not only did they remake it for me right there but refused to make me pay twice when I offered to do so. I was too flustered to remember to ask for their names but they are excellent and made my day!“
“Love this new spot near me. Interior is nice, clean, and open. Staff very friendly. Menu teeters on the edge of being too big (ala cheesecake factory). Review is ONLY for the poke bowl. Got build it yourself with salmon and marinated tuna. Both were very fresh. The bowl itself was VERY generous in quantity. Good proportion of rice and fish. Prices are a tad high, but since you get two meals out of it, it evens out. Will be back.“
