“I almost never give out a 5-star rating in a restaurant review because I think that should be reserved for something extraordinary. Well this place is fully deserving. All of us in the family agreed that the selections we made were addictingly delicious. As we were having our lunch, we just each kept going 'mmmm-mmm-mmm'... or 'omg'... or 'soooooo good' as we went through our bowls! I got the spicy pork bowl, and the balance of flavors was wonderful, the spice level just right (not too much, or too little). Will be returning often. What a gem of a place.“

“Wonderful food. Elegantly presented sashimi, sushi, takoyaki, gyoza, udon, don buri (bowls of food), and other Japanese options. Many many types of sushi rolls. In total, there is not only more than standard Japanese fare, but it is also delicious, high quality, and beautifully presented. Many different sakes, mixed drinks, and Japanese beers along with international Gin, bourbon, tequila, rum options. They even have Japanese soda pop. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely decor with exquisite hand painted scenes. I had been there once before and couldn’t wait to go back for seconds to show my adult son who also, this day enjoyed his food immensely.“

“The Tofu Katsu has been my go-to ever since their food truck used to visit my corporate workplace downtown. Great combination of flavors and textures.

My only complaint is that it used to be served with two spring rolls included. Maybe that was just the food truck or maybe it's an effort to cut costs. Either way, I didn't mind because the portion of tofu seems to be more than I remembered.

While I think it's a tad on the pricy side for what you get, it's still a favorite of mine and always puts a smile on my face.“

The owner’s parents prepare all the food, and makes it feel like a warm and welcoming family affair. Highly recommend the soy milk, chive pie and rice rolls! Items that are hard to find anywhere else in the country!“

“Went for taco Tuesday’s for my first time ever. The food was good, employees didn’t seem to want to be there. I wasn’t greeted and placing my order seemed like an inconvenience. Plus, what taco joint doesn’t have hot sauce? I asked if they had any other sauce in the Sriracha and they said just the hot sauce that comes on the hard taco and I asked for a side and they said we can’t do that. Other than that, the tacos were good. The building was really cool and update. I’d go again to give a second try.“
