“Great date spot patio - wonderful outdoor atmosphere. Super attentive waitstaff (great attention, recommendations, and personality). Cool cocktails and some really good beers available. The food was outstanding! The menu was basically laid out in order of smallest to biggest plates; the snacks were very much snack-sized, the small plates were still plenty enough to share, and the entrees were generous. Very creative and fun cuisine. The white anchovies that we requested on the side of our (outstandingly fresh and summery) tomato salad were the absolute best anchovies I have ever had - if you like anchovies and they have "white anchovies" on the menu, order! (Our waitress was nice enough to check in the restaurant pantry to find out the brand for me, which was very appreciated.) Though we were stuffed, we had dessert and the chocolate cake we ordered was decadent and a wonderful end to a fun and romantic meal. Totally recommend Little Fox, especially for a spontaneous date night out, whether you want to graze and sip cocktails or get a full dinner.”
“Excellent dinner. Easy to make reservation. Service was excellent, friendly and prompt, great flow/ timing of presenting food. The food itself was excellent! My only wish is that hot sake was an option.Dietary restrictions: Did very well with gluten and dairy free options. Staff was knowledgeable on allergies and appropriate menu items.”
“Louie was amazing!! The food and service were the best part! Our waitress Emma went above and beyond!! She took the time to explain the dishes and be super personable!! Ask for Emma, she’s the best!!!”
“Clydesdale VIP experience is awesome. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful horses and very informative. Awesome to learn about how well these animals are taken care of. Free samples were great too!”
“Wonderful, expertly prepared and delicious food! Owner is very friendly and service was excellent! Try the Ashok, I think its called, leek dumplings with lentils on top, drizzled with a tasty yogurt sauce!”
“Our server Josh (yes, coincidence) nailed it. Attentive but not overbearing. The cocktails were a hit too, and I'd recommend the Apple Bottom Jeans and the Violet Mojito. My wife and I stuck to small plates as we weren't in the mood for large plates. The lobster roll was out of this world, and while it looks small, they manage to pack so much delectable lobster into it. The pork belly was also incredible though it was light on the amount of pork belly in it. The spam fried rice was really good. The chili flakes elevate the entire plate, but if you don't like spicy food, I might suggest you get something else. Finally, the cheddar biscuits...they weren't very good. They were a bit tough, not fluffy, and were portioned in a way that made them awkward to eat (too tall). I would not recommend the biscuits. But overall, great experience, 4.5/5.”
“Went for their New Year's Eve party, it was such fun! The sample drinks were tasty and the food was yummy. Topping it off with their ice cream minis was a great idea. The sorbet was delicious. Miss Julia was a fun band.”
“Went to St. Louis for the first time and found this gem! Everything I had here was yummy! The staff here is super friendly which seems hard to come by nowadays. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area!”
“This is my 1st time here and was a long time coming. I'm sorry I waited so long. This is now my favorite sandwich shop in the city. I got the creole deluxe, the knuckle sandwich, and the chicken shack ranch. The ? is so flavorful and melts in your mouth. The beef on the knuckle sandwich just amazing. I am a fan of Italian beef sandwiches. One of the best I've ever had. My ultimate favorite though is the creole deluxe! The roast beef and roast pork? Absolutely amazing! Had to get an extra side of that creole mayo. Just sets it off! I will be back. Even grabbed a take and back pizza for another time.Parking: If you come early enough,no problem finding a parking space.”
“This place is so good! I always beg my boyfriend to take me and bother him about it constantly. I love to yap non stop about it even tho I'm lactose intolerant ?”
“This was my must try place when I came to STL! If I were to open a restaurant it would’ve been exactly like this… Tacos + Horror = Genius. The decor alone was frightful in the best way possible. The service was outstanding too. The tacos were so delicious, and flavorful. The prices were also great. I highly recommend you check them out.”
“Lynette is the most amazing person ever. She was so nice and amazing. Definitely gave me a greta impression of this place. Lynette gave us the food fast and was very accommodating to my allergy.Dietary restrictions: I have a gluten free allergy and this place is amazing.”
“I'm so happy this restaurant is in my neighborhood!! Awesome food, drinks, and service. My partner has celiac and they are so gluten-free friendly. So many safe delicious options and they have a dedicated GF fryer for chips!!!”
“We have visited the Sugarwitch on several occasions and had great experiences each time! The menu is exquisite and product delicious. Last weekend, our family's visit was extra special and we appreciate the additional touches those working Saturday night put in place. Charming and delightful!”
“Food was great. Service took a bit long but that was due to the conference going on. Love the ambiance and decor of the restaurant. I loved their fried rice and chargrilled aubergine.”
“My dad had been telling me about this place since you all opened and this is the first time I got to experience the deliciousness for myself. Dad had a burger for the first time that he can remember and I enjoyed the BLT! highly recommend!”
“A little out of the way on the loop, which can be nice if you want a bite without yelling to talk with who you’re with. Street tacos were great, absolutely recommend. A little pricier, but you can tell they use quality ingredients.”
“First time here and will definitely be back. Food was great and staff was very nice. Egg rolls were awesome. Duck was a bit dry but still tasty. Can’t want to go try the shrimp ban mi”
“Visited yesterday and omg the food was delicious. I had the brisket which the cook said is new to the menu. It wasn’t dry at all. It was tender and i like they put the sauce on the side instead of drench the meat with it. My sister had the salmon croquettes and they were good too. I’ll be back but remember to make reservations for brunch or u might not be able to try it due to the crowd. The staff were nice and the place was clean. Oh and the flight of mimosa had us still talking after eating.”
“MUST VISIT IN STL! Coming from NYC, this is hands down one of the best spots I’ve been to lately from the drinks, food, service, and all around vibes. They put an incredible amount of detail into everything and it shows. The craft cocktails are innovative, yet approachable, and extremely well-balanced. They also carry a unique variety of spirits on the menu that you can’t find anywhere else. One drink I especially loved and recommend is the Budgy Smuggler made with their housemade clarified milk. You can also order off the entire Yellowbelly food menu (sister restaurant next door) and every dish we tried was amazing. Get the raw and hot fried oysters, beef fat fries, lump crab fritters, elote taquitos, brussels, charred carrots, pork belly, green curry salmon, and grilled hangar steak. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were so unique. This should be a must stop if you’re in STL and also a great event space. I can’t wait to go back!”
“I've lived in Saint Louis for about a year and a half and am moving this week. I've been to iNDO 3 times since moving here. It is probably my favorite restaurant of all time. I came as a final goodbye tonight and it was so bittersweet! I can't believe this place isn't rated higher on Google. Absurd. The food has layers of flavor, is interesting, fresh, and always so well done. Dishes are clearly so well thought out, with visual, textural, and flavorful elements that just scratch an itch in your brain. The quality of the sashimi is superior. I sometimes forget we're in Saint Louis because man, that is some good fish. The service also never misses, with knowledgable staff and perfect coursing of dishes. Thank you to everyone working there for giving me such fond memories!!”
“Food was YUM, service was friendly, and the space and location is so cute. In the heart of the hill, a must-go-to place for a hot or cold Italian sandwich that tastes authentic and made with love. The Grace was my fav! With Italian sausage, pepperoni, cheese and red sauce.”
“I was in town for a conference and I went to Food Network for some recommendations and this restaurant popped up. I was not disappointed the ribs and pulled pork were really great. The sauces were really good and the atmosphere was so friendly and just down home. I love the option of eating indoors or outdoor. Great place if you are a visitor. And a lot of locals recommended this place.”
“Born and raised in Miami and this is the best tasting, most authentic food in the STL area. Catered for an event at Scott AFB - service was exceptional, food was amazing, and received tons of compliments on everything. A must for any foodie craving a taste of Havana!”
“Not all Steakhouses are created equal. Hamilton's provides an intimate setting for a quality dining experience. If you're the type to want to pair your meal with a unique whisky, scotch or bourbon - you have come to the right place. The bar's selection and knowledge will surpass your expectations. You will have the opportunity to sip on some spirits that are hard to find anywhere. It's wise to grab a reservation or enjoy a spot at their cozy bar.”
“Tonight our pickup order was about 20 min late. Apparently there was a new cook doing the dumplings. We just want the new cook to know that you may have had a tough night, but your dumplings were excellent. Thanks!”
“The owner was very nice!!Unfortunately, I couldn't eat here because of the amount of sodium in the food, but I did try a few tiny bites off of my family's plates. It was good!”
“We were out on a Monday morning produce run for our restaurant and wanted a quick brunch. Service was fast, friendly, and delicious. Parking can be odd but it’s worth the Tetris.”
“Russell’s on Macklin is such a staple. It has a cozy and relaxed ambiance with a fireplace offering locally sourced American cuisine.Located in the Southampton neighborhood of St. Louis, it’s a family-run restaurant that prides itself on warm hospitality and mouthwatering dishes reminiscent of home-cooked meals. From their homestyle cooking to freshly baked goods, Russell’s on Macklin caters to both the brunch & dinner crowds. The menu features elevated versions of classic American favorites, highlighting the best seasonal ingredients available.I had the broccolini salad and lump crab cake. Both were delicious. I also shared in the cheeseboard.Don't forget to indulge in their tempting gooey butter cake.”
“The food is always good yet the service could be better. The lady taking orders does not need to yell so much. She hang up on me without giving me the total due or a pick up order number.”
