“What a joy it is to walk into Adriana's when there is no line! (RARE!) That would be, maybe, right after opening, or just after the lunch rush, around 2ish, and things are wrapping up.

I like to call in my order, but still have to wait in line to pay. Part of the meal is soaking in the atmosphere of checkered top tables, and a lot of history.

If you like soup, ALWAYS ASK. The minestrone is out of this world. I think the soups change like St. Louis weather, so you never know what it'll be. Chicken pea was the last one I tried and it was just as awesome as all the others.
Everything tastes like mom made it (if she was Italian and a stupendous cook.)

If you haven't been here yet, and I mean YET, get yourself in! They do have veggie options, and other items besides sandwiches, but you really should give the sandwiches a try. My go to is the Gorgonzola dip that comes au jus. If I'm less hungry and wanting something less hearty, Sunny's Veggie is a nice choice. The bread is fresh from the Hill, and you can tell. The sesame seeds once warm on the bread with butter and garlic really send you to heaven for just a second.“

“I got a double cheese burger. First this is one good burger!!! 2nd the staff here is in replaceable. The lady who took my order was so nice the food was hot and fast I think I waited maybe 5 mins for my burger and they were definitely busy but still got my order FAST! This is an easy 10/10 next time I’m going for the fish and chicken (wich smells SOOOO good) check them out I promise you won’t regret it! I only paid 8$ for a double cheese burger fries and a can soda.

“Jersey Mike's on Lindbergh was clean, employees were all professional and friendly. I had never been to one but friends raved about how great the sandwiches tasted. All my questions were answered. I picked four types and was pleased. Fresh bread and meat. I watched as sandwiches were made. Everyone at poker enjoyed them. Philly steak was delicious, very popular. Ham and cheese and roast beef with provolone followed by premier club were the choices. Oh, I purchased a BLT for dinner at home later....yum.“

“The Gruber is the best thing I have tried. It is a good mix of ham, cheese, and garlic.

I tried the Prosperity as well. I felt like that one needed something more. The roast beef was good, but maybe some more gravy or possibly a side container for dipping.“

“I have been here twice since it opened a week ago. The food was great and the workers were very friendly and knew what they were doing.

Just some caution: the lobby (as of this review) closes at 7 but they still accept to-go orders until 9. If it is locked just call (until they get a buzzer on the pick up window.... oh and that reminds me, the pick up window is a nice touch).

“MOCRA is a one-of-a-kind art museum found on SLU's campus. My sister and I visited on a Friday morning into early afternoon to view their Vicente Telles and Brandon Maldonado: Cuentos Nuevomexicanos and the permanent exhibitions. The pieces were very moving, the hall well-lit and partitioned, and the curator kind and informative.

I'm eager to return for the next exhibit, whatever it will be. I believe they bring in new pieces each semester.

Entrance is free, but a donation is recommended. Not sure what the solution to this is, but parking was difficult to navigate as the museum is on campus, not near any lots. We parked beside the Coronado and walked a quarter of a mile to reach the musuem, using Google Maps to guide our walk.“

My daughter Recently bought a sandwich there and t Told me how much she loved it. , I ordered a turkey sandwich online. I was able to pick what I wanted on it and what I didn’t want on it. It was so easy! I ordered this to pick up about an hour from when I was ordering it. I was able to use my coupon for $6.99 for a foot-long. Yay! When I walked in the woman behind the counter was assisting another customer. I asked her a quick question, and she responded instantly. My sandwich was sitting on the shelf with my name on it. It was still cold, So I know it was just put out in time for me to pick up. When I Ate my sandwich I was pleasantly surprised. It was exactly as I ordered it and it was delicious. There was no skimping on the meat, lettuce, or the tomatoes. An all-around great place to get a sandwich. I Did give a two dollar tip, Which I don’t normally do when I’m picking up food that I ordered online. I wish I would’ve given more. Although I’m so happy about the price with the coupon, I would definitely pay full price. Kudos to the store I visited. I will definitely be back. Thank you!!!
