“It is great to have a hotel restaurant in the middle of Clayton. I find the lighting too bright and the chairs too simple to be this highly rated. But generally speaking, the food is good. I’ve had slow and mediocre service so I don’t understand.“

I loved being able to do the four course meal with some of the specials. It was wonderful to see the dining room full in this well-established restaurant in the heart of Clayton. I remember being wowwed when I first dined at The Crossing 25 years ago and it is still just as fabulous! We cannot wait to return.“

I tried the coconut shrimp, and while the flavor was good, the portion felt like it could have used a little more to make it feel complete for the price. A small side like rice would have paired nicely with it. Overall, it was a comfortable place for lunch, and I can see it being a good fit for someone looking for a chill spot with a more upscale menu.“
