The Royale Food & Spirits Reviews
Been enjoying The Royale most weeks since 2015. Best bar and restaurant in town. A gem. Chill tavern vibes, DJs, local art, gorgeous courtyard, old movies, vinyl records, and a stellar menu. Owner Steve is the best. Get the fish tacos, a fresh margarita, a local beer, or whatever you’re into. Hell, I’m about to head there right now writing this review. I’m not even joking.
Great bar! Wonderful ambience, neatly decorated. You can tell alot of time and love have been put forth creating this small gem of a bar!
Service was great and met the owners father who was absolutely as sweet as he could be!!
Would recommend going because the food and drinks were amazing!
Always the friendliest staff and bartenders. The crowd is always very nice as well. The last time I was there with my son, the kitchen had closed and I requested food.. the bartender actually brought in some chips from inside and did not charge us. I only found out later on when I asked- they were just trying to be nice. Love love love this place

The Royale Food & Spirits is a charming pub known for its delicious food and great drinks. The staff is friendly, with a special mention to Heather, a fantastic bartender. They offer creative cocktails and create a welcoming atmosphere. The Goat Chips with Curry Dipping Sauce are a must-try snack option. The Beet Reuben, Jack Fruit Tacos, and Spinach Mushroom Pakoras are highly recommended dishes. The Pakoras are particularly delightful and should be a regular menu item. The restaurant also features a cozy outdoor fire pit and a nice outdoor patio, making it a great spot to relax before or after dinner. The place has a charming vibe with good music and artwork, making the overall experience enjoyable. Despite some slight service issues, visitors often feel like they are in a friendly neighborhood, partly thanks to the welcoming presence of Pat, the owner's dad. The Royale Food & Spirits is a popular spot in St. Louis for those seeking quality cocktails and flavorful food. It’s suitable for adults or families, though larger groups might find it challenging when sitting outside in cold weather. Guests also note the holiday offerings like Eggnog, which is rich and festive.
