“The food was great. Order prepared quickly each time I've visited. Been back about 4 times in a single week. Pricing is a bit higher than other suitable Chinese restaurants but Food has Great and my orders were exactly what I asked for and expected.

“Food is great and served in reasonable time. The waitress could be more attentive to patrons seeing that the tip is added to the bill and paid before even receiving food. I asked for something and she forgot and brought it to the table 15 minutes later after I was almost done with meal. Had to ask for water, waitress only filled up my husband’s glass not mine and both were pretty much empty and I wasn’t even asked if I wanted more water. Hopefully this is read and improved on my return visit. It least it shows me how to tip next time 😏“

“I had heard about Pappy's for years before I actually went, which is embarrassing because it's not like I live that far. You hear enough people talk about a BBQ place like it's a life experience and you start to think they're being dramatic. They're not. The line was long when we got there, moved faster than expected, and everything after that was just really good food.
The baby back ribs are what this place is built on and they deserve the reputation. They come out dry-rubbed and slow smoked over apple and cherry wood, no sauce on them by default, and they don't need it. The bark has this slight sweetness from the wood and the rub and the meat underneath is tender without being fall-off-the-bone to the point of mushiness. There are four sauces on the table and you can go ahead and try them, but honestly the first rack I ate without any sauce at all and didn't feel like I was missing anything. The burnt ends were just perfect little caramelized cubes of beef that I kept eating until they were gone. The fried corn on the cob is a weird thing to talk about this much but I'm going to anyway because it's excellent, just a whole cob lightly battered and fried and it's hot and crunchy and a little sweet. We also got the baked beans which had plenty of meat mixed in and a good kick to them.
Counter service, seats yourself after ordering, loud and fun atmosphere. The place closes when the meat runs out so there's a hard daily limit. They're not going to reheat something to serve you the next day and that's the right call. Show up when they open if you can. I went back the following morning for an early lunch before driving out of St. Louis and had the pulled pork sandwich this time, which was simpler and still really good. There's something about the consistency here that you notice across visits, nothing feels like an off day or a rushed plate. The whole operation runs like they take it seriously but nobody in there looks like they're stressed about it, which is a hard combination to pull off.“

Bailee brought us bread made, and baked on The Hill with great quality olive oil, and herbs for dipping. Rob ordered the lasagna, and I opted for the Tutti de Mare with seafood, garlic, butter, and olive oil. My dinner was delicious, and made with freshly made pasta, and a perfect mix of perfectly cooked wild caught seafood of mussels,shrimp, clams, and squid. Rob's lasagna also featured freshly made pasta sheets, Anthonino's red sauce, sausage, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese. I tasted it, and it's your pick here if you love lasagna. We went to 3 places on this excursion and this one was my favorite. Why? Mainly because I could see myself spending a lot of time hanging out here. They have a great selection of beers, multiple seating areas (both indoor and outdoor), darts and a lot more. We sat outside for a while but moved into their loft area when the sun set.

I had 2 beers. The first was an American Pale Ale. It was slightly crisp and delicious. The second was their cask beer of the day or week. It was surprisingly creamy and rich in flavor.

I didn’t get the same vibrant lemon experience in the lemon bar that I got with the blueberries in the blueberry lemon cinnamon roll, which was a little disappointing. And the snickerdoodle wasn’t quite as moist as I expected, but otherwise I thought everything I ate was very well made.

I generally don’t comment about the service at the bakeries I review, but the staff here was very friendly and helpful. In terms of service, I would definitely give the service five stars. “The vegan pizza is SO DANG GOOOOOOD, I never thought I’d be able to have a good slice of NY style vegan pizza and Pizza Head definitely proved me wrong. Everything from the vegan pepperoni to the cheez sauce & crust - tastes like the real thing and my pizza dreams have again been reborn. The RANCH IS SO GOOD TOOOOO. And the vegan parm is such a great touch. Super friendly/helpful customer service as well and I love a good lowlight, chill atmosphere. 10/10 would highly recommend and plan to come back at least once a month to treat myself to a whole vegan pie.
