The food was incredible, best Pico and homemade chips, my taco platter was divine and Tim had a seafood platter with fish, shrimp, scallops, and octopus in a delicious sauce. Everything was on point here - the food, service, atmosphere, and even the music. Every part of the experience deserves its own shoutout!

My husband and I ordered two Tom Yum soups with tofu, steamed dumplings, drunken noodles with beef, and the mango sticky rice with coconut syrup for dessert.

First of all, even if you LOVE spicy food (and my husband and I eat spicy food all the time), do NOT take a chance and order the spicy level! We got medium, and we were literally crying. 😂 Even for us, it was way too spicy. If you don’t normally eat spicy food, I would honestly be careful even with mild.

That being said, the dishes were incredibly flavorful. This isn’t the kind of spicy food where all you can taste is heat. The flavors were rich, complex, and the portions were filling.

The portion sizes were actually perfect for trying several different dishes without completely stuffing yourself, which happens so often at American restaurants. You come here for the atmosphere and the flavors, not giant portions.

And you absolutely HAVE to try the dessert! The mango sticky rice was so soft and delicious, with sweet coconut syrup and pieces of coconut. One bite and I felt like I was back in Asia. ❤

There was calm, relaxing music playing in the background, and our server checked on us when needed without being overly attentive or constantly interrupting us. Exactly the kind of service I appreciate.

The only tricky part is parking. There isn’t really parking right next to the restaurant, so we parked at a nearby hotel and walked over.

“I visited for a quick dinner and was glad I made a reservation because the host initially acted like it was packed. Once I mentioned my reservation, his tone changed, and we were seated. The restaurant wasn’t even that busy. We ordered garlic cream shrimp pasta, a salami sandwich, and catfish nuggets. The food was tasty, especially the pasta with a nice kick. “The sign on Lily's door statesthey are only open for lunch. From 11 AM to 2 PM Tuesday through Saturday. They're closed Sunday and Monday. When you walk in the door you're greeted with a warm smile and hello like you're an old friend or family. I got the gyro lunc special. It came with a 6 inch, gyro fries, and soft drink. You get one free refill with a soft drink. The gyro had so much meat on it I had to eat some of it before I could fold it up to eat it like standard gyro. “I went to Pizzeoli last night with a group of friends and had an amazing dining experience. We started off with the Deep Fried Chanterelles and Chili-kissed Garlic Knots - the chantrellles were delicious and came with a chili ranch sauce that I would love bottled for home use. The garlic knots were a cut above your normal pizza place fare - melted in my mouth and garlic to butter proportions were perfectly balanced. It should be noted that their drink menu is extensive (along with their pizza menu - so many great options!). I chose the Athletic Cerveza - a great Non-alcoholic beer that ranks as a personal fav. I also like that Pizzeoli had multiple NA options as a non-drinker. On to the main course - my group chose the Andy (a current special with white sauce and mushrooms), the Lumberjack Snack (pep and bacon on red sauce) and the Meatball pizza (as recommended per their chef - meatballs on white sauce!). All three were delicious and cooked to perfection - the right amount of bubbles in the perfectly thin curst. I kept trying to choose a favorite and couldn't decide - would personally recommend a white sauce pizza but the red was also awesome! The grand finale was a banana split dessert pizza and ice cream sandwiches. A hot dessert pizza with the perfect cool toppings, I'd stop in just for an after meal treat some time. The ice cream sandwiches were delectable and fun to share with the table too. The atmosphere of Pizzeoli transported me to a simpler time when going to a neighborhood pizza place meant a friendly staff, unique decorations (check out the light shades over the tables!) and quality craftsmanship.
