The Conservatory Reviews
I had one of the most liberating experiences for the first time I took the stage at the conservatory on an open stage , 10 min slot. So much fun on April 22. 2026. I believe and my hat goes off to the whole establishment and Scotty 2 Hottie sends out positivity and always in high spirits . awesome event every week. the BEST pickle shots i've ever had anywhere, and i've had MANY pickle shots from MANY different places. 10/10 recommend 😩
This place is a place. It’s got people. It’s got good pizza and it’s got drinks. The air vibrates there too! It’s pretty neat.

The Conservatory is an artsy venue that features local talent and a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. The small and cozy space offers a mellow crowd and a great mix of music genres played by the DJ. The decor is eclectic, with many pieces of art that give the place a unique identity and add to its charm. The sound of the bands is always awesome, with performances by groups like "Lights Over Arcadia," "The Cobain Virus," and "Nowhere but Down" that really rock the stage. Service at the bar is excellent, and the chill atmosphere makes it a great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The venue also accommodates vegetarian diners, and the Midnight Topher's Pizza remains a popular weekend offering. Overall, there’s never a dull moment at the Conservatory, which continues to be a beloved gem in Alton.
