food is the bomb if y'all ain't got them yet stop in and get them we recommend them
We came in the other night and ordered 3 of the 4-piece fried chicken with fries boxes and a side of cole slaw. Let me tell you, it was exactly like Woody’s chicken, and the coleslaw was 🤌🏼💋 absolutely delicious! Even after storing my leftovers in the fridge overnight, the chicken skin stayed crispy and flavorful! The staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming. 100/10! Will definitely be back!
The catfish and coleslaw were delicious! Another customer was telling me about their pork steaks and pork chops. I’ll be ordering one of those on my next visit. I wish more people would try Lovett’s!

Lovett's Soul Food is a fantastic place with amazing food and friendly service. The whole family was happy with the delicious wings, fried corn on the cob, and fried oreos. The prices are affordable, and the atmosphere is comfortable. The special sauce on the wings is a must-try, and the fried kool-aid is a unique dish worth sampling. Customers also enjoy the fried chicken, which stays crispy and flavorful even after storing leftovers overnight. The fried chicken is often compared to Woody’s chicken, and the coleslaw is highly praised as absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. Some dishes like fried pickles and greens are loved, though some main dishes like Shrimp Alfredo and mashed potatoes are considered to lack that true soul food taste, tasting more like jar sauce or box mix. Overall, Lovett's offers a real taste of soul food, prepared just how it should be, ensuring many customers want to return again and again.
