“Great hole in the wall with delicious, homemade food. Even the Mayfair salad dressing is made from scratch. Friendly staff and plenty of seating. I got the Ruban sandwich with a side salad and it was one of the best sandwiches I've had. Great meat, to toppings to bread ratio. Affordable prices. There's also some slots to play. The only thing I didn't like was the indoor smoking. But other than that, great experience.“
“Finally!! A place that has the perfect tripe! I have searched North County high and low looking...and they have it. The bbq is very good. My personal opinion, it's better than Red's. All the menu items taste great...down to the cake. If you in the area, it's worth it“

“A friend and I found this fantastic BBQ joint a few years by accident. Planning a return trip; however, had to Google because we did not know where we were as the initial restaurant we were looking for, we could not find. The GPS took us down a road to a field!!!“
“I'm so happy there's a location closer to me. The staff was very helpful and diligent about making sure you have everything you need. The ribs and the Carolina were delicious. Meats were tender and very flavorful. Nice and clean establishment! This may be a bad thing having a Sugarfire down the road! LOL“
“Good BBQ for a good price.We're Outside is off the beaten path, but it is easy to find. It's just a little shed and you order at one window from the outside and pick your food up at the next window. They have a huge patio if you want to eat on location, but it is not pet friendly.I 'm a fan of Pork Steaks, so that is what I ordered on my first visit. It was fork tender, I could pull off a bite without using a knife. The flavor was good and not over sauced. All their side dishes are housemate and delicious. My sides were; Mac-n-Cheese and Potato Salad. The Mac-n-Cheese was rich and creamy, but for me it needed more pepper (easy fix). My Potato Salad was one of the best that I have had at a BBQ joint.The young lady working the order window was friendly and answered my questions professionally. Owner is usually on site from what I have heard and he to was pleasant to talk with.This location is convenient for me and I'll probably become a regular. So, when you go to give it a try, we may cross paths.“
