“We were in the mood for Chinese, so we stopped in. Is it pinky out, fancy Chinese? Not even close. It's gotta have it, greasy Chinese. Please don't take that the wrong way. Sometimes you just need some old school Chinese, and they got that. The portions were huge, and the cost wasn't terrible. The highlight, for me, were the fried wontons. The beef and broccoli was flavorful, and the broccoli still had the crunch (no one likes soggy broccoli). The crab rangoon were the sweet style, not my favorite, but decent enough. Of course I'm going to go back.“

“We’ve been to this place many times. My only complaint is that they don’t seem to vary the menu. It would be nice if they had a “dish of the day” to add some variety.
Also, there’s only one choice of ice cream and no toppings.
The staff is friendly and place is clean.“

“I order from this place specifically despite having several Chinese restaurants that are closer. The fried rice is the best I've had. The orange, bourbon, and general tsos chicken are all really good. They also work with people to make specialized orders. For example I am allergic to wheat and can't eat the breaded chicken. They make mine without the breading so that I can order the things I really want. I highly recommend.“

“Delicious! I hadn’t had their food in years because I moved away but now that I’m back in the area I’m so glad this place is still around. Food is always fresh and the owners are good people. Easily the best Chinese restaurant around.“

“Been coming here my whole life so figured I should leave a review. Literally think I've been coming here since I was 12 and here I am still coming 20 years later. Always the best food. I travel for work and haven't found anything better. Kelly is always great and funny with a big personality and feels like family. She's always asking about my parents and vice versa. I've lived in STL the last few years but glad to live back in the area again to enjoy this amazing food 😋“

“This restaurant appears to have been a drive in at some point so pulling into the parking lot is kind of cool. Once you get out of your car, you go inside and order your food. They were doing a brisk carry out business, obviously they were very well known in the neighborhood. We chose to eat in one of the booths. Yes, it wouldn't hurt if someone did a bit of cleaning around the windows, but we weren't too put off and really enjoyed our meals. Would return.“

“The beef lo mein was the best I've ever tasted. Huge portions, plenty of beef and wide variety of vegetables. The staff was friendly and my order only took 10 mins, which was great considering I was a walk in customer. Crab Rangoon was delicious and crispy not greasy. Plus the Almond Cookies were fresh.😁“

“I’m from STL but moved to Nashville. Everytime I come home I GOTTA go to China moon. The crab Rangoon never fails, sweet, hot, and abundant. The rice is really good too. I’m mainly a St. Paul person so that’s what I usually get and absolutely love it! And I got more of my family switching to them as well!“

“This is a great little hole in the wall but amazing Chinese restaurant! I stumbled upon it while having a craving for Hot & Sour soup. The location is easy to get to off Lindbergh. I was amazing how many locals were inside ordering food and taking it to go. It seems to be mostly a to go spot. I was given some recommendations right there from some of their most loyal customers. Hands down their general tso chicken was indeed great. And the soup I craved didn’t disappoint! I’ll be back.“

“My family has been coming here since before I can remember. The food is always excellent and has been very consistent for decades! I live out of state now, but I have to come back to get a St. Paul, the special fried rice, and egg foo young every time I'm home! Will always come back and recommend to others!“

“I love the crab rangoons here because they're not sweet, they're savory and that's what I like I hate those sweet ones. I like the right series as well it's always tasty but I wish they would put a bit more portions in the container but other than that they're good to go.“

“Good place to get some good Chinese food. St Paul sandwiches are good. Fried rice is always fresh. Quick service and always correct. The only issue is that I can't purchase Vess sodas via their online app (unless I'm overlooking it). 😋“

“Very good and staff is very pleasant! Food is not salty which I look for in a Chinese restaurant. Loved it. Everything was great that we got. Crab Rangoon, egg rolls pork fried rice and orange chicken and cashew stir fried chicken. Can’t wait to go back.“

“Hong Kong House - How Happy I am to have you opened again! The ONLY Chinese Restaurant in the Alton area that serves REAL Chinese Veggies in their meals - NOT frozen peas, carrots, & corn. I ordered the Veggie Fried Rice - served with thinly sliced carrots, bean sprouts, water chestnuts, baby corn, and bamboo shoots just to name a few. We also had Hunan Chicken Combo Plate with Fried Rice and Crab Rangoon - Yummy. Again lots or real fresh veggies without being over loaded with huge chunks of onion. Love Love Love the food here“
