“Hong Kong House - How Happy I am to have you opened again! The ONLY Chinese Restaurant in the Alton area that serves REAL Chinese Veggies in their meals - NOT frozen peas, carrots, & corn. I ordered the Veggie Fried Rice - served with thinly sliced carrots, bean sprouts, water chestnuts, baby corn, and bamboo shoots just to name a few. We also had Hunan Chicken Combo Plate with Fried Rice and Crab Rangoon - Yummy. Again lots or real fresh veggies without being over loaded with huge chunks of onion. Love Love Love the food here“

“Food is great! Have had this twice now (Orange chicken, and Mongolian Chicken)
Both times food was ready within 15 minutes and quick. Crab Rangoon here is fantastic, not the small pre-made ones. They are good sized and fresh.

“Long time no go. Sister suggested after a Sunday service and before a second service. I gave her a little pushback but of course she won. It has almost gotten back to the quality it use to have at its begin. The lady definitely kept our table cleaned off.“

The decor was inviting, and the woman working there was incredibly friendly and entertaining, which made the experience even better. “This restaurant appears to have been a drive in at some point so pulling into the parking lot is kind of cool. Once you get out of your car, you go inside and order your food. They were doing a brisk carry out business, obviously they were very well known in the neighborhood. We chose to eat in one of the booths. Yes, it wouldn't hurt if someone did a bit of cleaning around the windows, but we weren't too put off and really enjoyed our meals. Would return.“

“I'm disabled and as some know it take a minute to do things,when I called I was outside, I didn't even ask, and the young man asked if I would like to order and have it bought out???? Ok this has only happened at the QT, that's it, I ordered and they bought it out, I tipped also..the food was great, the mom that bought it out....RESPECT look at the condiments!!!,the food was piping hot I had to take my teeth out because..whewww.. “My family has been coming here since before I can remember. The food is always excellent and has been very consistent for decades! I live out of state now, but I have to come back to get a St. Paul, the special fried rice, and egg foo young every time I'm home! Will always come back and recommend to others!“

“This is a great little hole in the wall but amazing Chinese restaurant! I stumbled upon it while having a craving for Hot & Sour soup. The location is easy to get to off Lindbergh. I was amazing how many locals were inside ordering food and taking it to go. It seems to be mostly a to go spot. I was given some recommendations right there from some of their most loyal customers. Hands down their general tso chicken was indeed great. And the soup I craved didn’t disappoint! I’ll be back.“

“The beef lo mein was the best I've ever tasted. Huge portions, plenty of beef and wide variety of vegetables. The staff was friendly and my order only took 10 mins, which was great considering I was a walk in customer. Crab Rangoon was delicious and crispy not greasy. Plus the Almond Cookies were fresh.😁“

“I have been going here as long as I can remember I haven't seen the beautiful older lady who's the mom and grandma and probably great grandma now I pray everything is ok . I have some of my best memories here from both childhood with family and friendships with friends I grew up on Ellen Wood and Ridgewood so ya. Even through some of my hardest times this place has just been home for me, all the staff and family knows me and my hubby we always go here plus they have known me over 25 years the nail salon also since I was a kid. “This location is in the same plaza with Home Depot. It is located in the lot directly facing across from it. There is limited indoor seating. The service is welcoming, prices are standard and parking is ample. The food is actually very good and taste fresh.“

“So this will be my 4th time eating here with my family of 3, we normally go to the Sierra Vista location.
However I feel this location is better for the price point, we always order a whole order of special fried rice with extra shrimp.
A four-piece order of crab rangoon and two pork egg rolls, it slaps every time so good.
, I actually appreciate the fact that this rice isn't super greasy and nasty like most places.
My favorite St Louis north county spots are Ferguson chop suey, China King Sierra Vista and now I'm proud to say China King Parker Road thank you for your hard work and delicious food.
By the way my family gets all that delicious food for under $21 great price, some of my favorite spots on the Southside include Chippewa Chop Suey located near Kings Highway in Morganford.
I also like the old Grand Wok on South Grand and Bates, there is a Chinese restaurant located on Spring and Grand also that's really good.
Just trying to share my favorite spots but this one is easily in my top 10 now, it's very clean on the inside welcoming decent area .
