“I have only gotten delivery. The time was fast and the food was the best Chinese food I have gotten in St. Louis to date. The chicken was very fresh and well prepared. I called ahead and asked if they use day old chicken and the reply was no. Fresh every time.

“My wife & I had a Saturday evening fast food craving, so we stopped in to the Panda Express in St. Ann on our way to some local retail shopping. The drive-thru lane was surprisingly empty, and the line for indoor ordering had only a handful of customers who were served promptly by several staff members. The young man who took our order was very friendly & efficient, and our meals were hot & fresh (one each Fried Rice Bowl, Orange Chicken & Honey Walnut Shrimp, with additional Chicken Egg Roll & Cream Cheese Rangoon appetizers). Serving sizes were generous (we had entree leftovers for a light lunch the next day), and the food quality & flavors were very satisfying. The only knock on the food was that my Egg Roll was slightly undercooked. The indoor dining area was well lit & clean. We will return when we have another round of Chinese food cravings.“

“I was introduced to Cate Zone quinine during the pandemic (so take-away). It was my first time having the ‘hot crispy fish’ and I now dream about that fish. (To put that into perspective, i rarely choose fish, or have cravings for it.)
I have since invited friends for dining in pick-up orders. Yes, the inside is small and the prices have jumped. For me though, this restaurant is worth returning to. I prepare in advance if i need to wait. I am glad to see so many people ordering.
I don’t order often because of the rising prices, but it just makes it a treat now when i can go.“

“This was such a cute little family owned restaurant. While it looked like most people picked up for delivery, you can eat in and they give you paper plates. We ordered the popcorn chicken which had fried basil in it and it was so unexpected and delicious! My littles loved the stir fry noodles. Also unexpected was what they called Chicken Chili stir fry! The pork belly melted in our mouths!! Absolutely delicious. We will be back“

“NO vegetables in Shrimp St. Paul sandwich. Sweet & Sour Shrimp was 1 container of plain white rice, NO vegetables anywhere, the "shrimp" (2/3 plain fried breading & 1/3 shrimp) was NOT cooked in sweet & sour sauce, and packed separately. Quality is now abominable.“

“A back alley restaurant with absolutely bussn food! Small and can get crowded quick but the food comes out quick. I had the best lo mein of my life here. The vibe is exactly what you'd expect so you know the food is going to be amazing.“

“I love that it's casual, and food is so good, fast and hot. And it's not a crowded as the Olive location. Highly recommended. It is my favorite Chinese eatery!
You can't go wrong with anything that you order but I love their pork belly noodles, sizzling platter of eggplants or tofu, spicy crispy chicken or sweet and sour fish... but really, everything is great.
I normally get one familiar dish that I love, plus a new dish I've never had before. Two entrees and share with two people, you still have leftover for another meal. Just phenomenal place for lunch AND dinner.

“I’ve been here a few times and I like it. I tried the St Paul sandwich because it’s a St Louis thing and I would get that again, but the Singapore noodles are my favorite so far. It has a spicy curry flavor and I like the combination of proteins in it.“

“I have eaten at YET Bun twice and both times the food was delicious. I had been meaning to try tgis places for years and I finally got a chance to do so. The gravy is dark and very favorable. The rice is fried to perfection and the portions are decent. Look rice is not super cheap like it use to be back in 2007, but if I am going to spend almost $10 on rice it better be good like this location!! While the atmosphere is a bit sketchy with the location it's still worth the drive!“

“This review is for the bakery ONLY. Everytime we go to St. Louis, we stop here (We live at the Lake of the Ozarks). The mini custard pies are amazing, try the fried, sesame seed balls which are filled with two different kinds of bean custard, both are delicious.
The yeast buns are stuffed with a variety of sweets and cheeses and are killer. On the right side of the shop as you enter, there are usually a few versions of the Dim Sum they serve next door in the restaurant and they are all DELICIOUS!

I've purchased the Duck & the deep fried pork hanging in the window, several times & it's been legit. We buy half a duck because there's only 3 of us, but plenty. I always order a small order of their rice so we can eat our duck at the hotel.
It can be VERY crowded on the weekends, so come as soon as they open. There's usually only the one lady working the register and dude chopping up the duck & pork, but they're fast. A++++ It's not cheap but it's soooo worth it.“

“This is my go to spot for rice, Saint Pauls, potstickers, and crab Rangoon. Service is always fast and food is ALWAYS delicious and fresh! I even took my friend who visited from Mississippi here and said it was the best Chinese food he’s had ever! When you call, the guy is pleasant. No rude run-ins. No throwing your change onto the counter. Consistency is everything. Location is perfect. Whenever you are in the mood for some good Chinamen, don’t hesitate!

“This restaurant appears to have been a drive in at some point so pulling into the parking lot is kind of cool. Once you get out of your car, you go inside and order your food. They were doing a brisk carry out business, obviously they were very well known in the neighborhood. We chose to eat in one of the booths. “I frequently dine out at places like Pei Wei but Pei Wei has become my new favorite. That is due in no small part to Jacinta, one of the employees. They were having a bit of a mid afternoon rush and she was acting as the cashier, server, bus person and just about everything else associated with front of house in a restaurant. She really hustled and took care of everyone efficiently and with a smile. Honestly if I wasn’t retired and was still in business I would try to steal her away. I’ve eaten at Pei Wei for lunch the last three days and I don’t see that trend stopping anytime soon.“

“My first stop when I come in town from Florida. The food is the best Chinese food in the country. Not exaggerating. The chicken broccoli with garlic sauce is my favorite. “I have been stopping at China in Bombay every time I pass through the St. Louis area for years, and it continues to be a reliable favorite.

This visit was no exception. The beef pho was outstanding. The broth was deeply flavorful, hearty, and comforting, and the portion size was enormous. Easily one of the highlights of the meal and something I would go out of my way to order again.

I also tried the cashew shrimp and the Szechuan chicken sticks. While I personally would have preferred the shrimp fried rather than stir fried, and the chicken sticks actually served on a stick, both dishes were still very tasty and well seasoned. The flavors were bold and satisfying, even if they were slightly different from what I expected.

The food quality here is consistently excellent, and the flavors feel authentic rather than watered down. A major plus for me is that the food is halal, which makes this a dependable stop every time I am in the area.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The space itself is small, but that is well known, and most people opt for takeout. Even so, dining in was still a pleasant experience.

China in Bombay remains a must stop for me whenever I am passing through St. Louis. Great food, generous portions, authentic flavors, and friendly service. Highly recommended.“

“I live in Atlanta now & the Chinese food pales in comparison to my hometown of St Louis. That said, when I come home I have to have some immediately. This time I happened to get in on Sunday. I was lucky to find one open. I called it in and was there in less than 15 minutes. The wings were great & piping hot! The vegetable egg foo young and shrimp fried rice had me moaning with pleasure. Whenever I come back home this St Louis Kitchen will be my first stop. The staff was friendly even though it was closing time for them.“
