“NO vegetables in Shrimp St. Paul sandwich. Sweet & Sour Shrimp was 1 container of plain white rice, NO vegetables anywhere, the "shrimp" (2/3 plain fried breading & 1/3 shrimp) was NOT cooked in sweet & sour sauce, and packed separately. Quality is now abominable.“

“Old-school Chinese restaurants, some of the staff have limited English, but although the service is not friendly, it is efficient and the restaurant is clean. The menu is loaded with pictures so if you have difficulty deciphering what the food items are, you can take a peek. The appetizers are delicious, including the chicken feet, salt and pepper squid and the entrée sole salt and pepper deep-fried is good too. My only complaint is that if the prices on the menu or not would appear on your bill! My dinner ended up being over $70 with tip is I was charged more than the mini price. I paid the bill this time but if I do go back, I will call them out on it.“

“Walked in and straight to the counter to pick up an UBEREATS order as well as place my own order and Martinez was the first person to greet me with a pleasant smile! I asked what was the freshest menu item and I got the steak with veggies while he still worked on the delivery order. I went to the restroom which was stocked and clean-by the time I came out, both orders were bagged and waiting for me!! I appreciate Martinez being attentive and helping me figure out lunch, but I'm mainly impressed with the overall teamwork at this location... seriously,thank you guys!“

“Upon first glance at the restaurant store front, one may assume Cate Zone to be a simple dime a dozen Chinese takeout, however don't be fooled. Upon entry, one will be greeted by friendly and attentive staff and see a slew of patrons enjoying traditional cuisine in a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The quality of the food is fantastic and the spice and seasonings of the provided dishes are consistent, and really showcase the cuisinier here care about the culinary tastes of their dishes. Perfect for a lunch date or small dinner with the family. Plan for a wait during peak hours due to patron volumes, however the food and experience are truly worth a wait.“

“Food was absolutely worth the wait and the bubble tea was awesome! My friends Jeff and Katie brought my husband and I for the first time and I enjoyed watching a gentleman make noodles through the window! We will be back! So tasty and fun!“

“Well I had my usual Chinese craving that always comes at least once a month. It had been a couple days before I could finally get the time to go get some Chinese. Luckily, for me when this time came I was door dashing in U-City, because I came across this hidden gem. The restaurant itself looks very deceiving, but I had read the reviews so I knew better. I ordered the dinner special broccoli chicken and was surprised that I could add Lo Mein instead of the traditional rice as a side. It was $3 more but well worth it. It also came with a spring roll which was the only thing that I wasn't impressed with. The whole meal cost just under $14 which was well worth it. I also will say this, I ordered carry out and walked quite away back to my car. When I did get back to my car, and went to eat my food, it was so hot that if I hadn't tested it first, it would have given me 3rd degree burns in my mouth. No joke! I have no idea how they had gotten my food so hot, but it was by far the hottest food I've ever experienced and it took quite awhile for it to cool down enough to even begin to eat it. With all this said, this by far was the best Chinese food I've ever eaten! And I've eaten at a lot of different Chinese restaurants. I believe the gravy the food was prepared in was what made the difference and off the chain delicious. I would highly recommend eating here often and yes as soon as I'm anywhere near U-City I'll be stopping in to get more food from here. 5 stars all day long!“

“Good food, kind of expensive. It's worth it for the place itself (clean, good decor) and was quick too. One dish is enough for one person (I was afraid it'd be too little). They also have good vegetarian options. Anyways, I'd reccomend the eggplant and dumplings!!!“

“I have lived in St. Louis for the past 2 years and have driven past a few PF chang’s and finally decided to stop in to try some. I got lunch there and the experience was phenomenal. The food and service was great! Kylee was exceptional, and made sure we were well taken care of. I will be bringing my teammates here when they come into town.“
