“Wok Express has become my local go to. I usually go with the (Springfield) Fried Cashew Chicken and gravy or Sesame Chicken with fried rice.The crab Rangoon are old school where they are more savory than sweet. I do wish they had a St. Paul Sandwich. Give this place a try.“

“We don't have a P.F. Chang's near where we live anymore. We are traveling and decided to visit this one. It was great. The food was as good a we remembered. This location is very nice. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

As a result of everywhere raising their prices so much, or dinner was less expensive than our hotel breakfast.“

“I LOVE this location of Cate Zone. It is beautiful and much bigger than the U City location. They adjust the spice level and have fast service for both take out and sit down meals. Portions are large, especially the noodle soups. Several vegetarian options available.

“I frequently dine out at places like Pei Wei but Pei Wei has become my new favorite. That is due in no small part to Jacinta, one of the employees. They were having a bit of a mid afternoon rush and she was acting as the cashier, server, bus person and just about everything else associated with front of house in a restaurant. She really hustled and took care of everyone efficiently and with a smile. Honestly if I wasn’t retired and was still in business I would try to steal her away. I’ve eaten at Pei Wei for lunch the last three days and I don’t see that trend stopping anytime soon.“

“We smelled it from the Antique mall close by and took a chance. I got the beef and broccoli while my wife got the egg foo young. It was all amazing. We appreciated the crab rangoons (not sweet, a bonus for us). Everything was cooked to perfection!

We ordered carry out and ate back at our hotel. It was a good hole in the wall. Asian food is extremely territorial but we found it so good and comforting while we visited the area.

The seating area was very clean (dated but clean!) As we waited for our food, we couldn't help but notice the amount of people coming and going and the women behind the counter knew most of them by name. Great food!“

I was on a very tight budget tonight and after the counter lady gave me the price is when I realized I failed to order a half order. She was kind enough to go ahead and charge me just the half order even though I received a full order. “First time ordering, did so on their website. Picked up our order and when we got home one of the orders was wrong. Called Panda and after going through our orders the employee discovered a description from their website was wrong, the description was that of a different dish. They gladly made the correct dish and we picked it up. Very apologetic, which wasn’t necessary as it was on honest mistake. “I have been stopping at China in Bombay every time I pass through the St. Louis area for years, and it continues to be a reliable favorite.

This visit was no exception. The beef pho was outstanding. The broth was deeply flavorful, hearty, and comforting, and the portion size was enormous. Easily one of the highlights of the meal and something I would go out of my way to order again.

I also tried the cashew shrimp and the Szechuan chicken sticks. While I personally would have preferred the shrimp fried rather than stir fried, and the chicken sticks actually served on a stick, both dishes were still very tasty and well seasoned. The flavors were bold and satisfying, even if they were slightly different from what I expected.

The food quality here is consistently excellent, and the flavors feel authentic rather than watered down. A major plus for me is that the food is halal, which makes this a dependable stop every time I am in the area.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The space itself is small, but that is well known, and most people opt for takeout. Even so, dining in was still a pleasant experience.

China in Bombay remains a must stop for me whenever I am passing through St. Louis. Great food, generous portions, authentic flavors, and friendly service. Highly recommended.“

“Best Chinese food in St Louis. Hunan chicken is great. Lots of vegetables and white meat chicken (absolutely no ligaments or chewy parts). Have been there are 20 times over 5 years. The staff are fine. The complaints in other posts about the staff not giving you a big hug when they see you seems petty. I am going there first and foremost for great food at a reasonable price. People use to also complain about how the owner of La Bon Bouche was not friendly. I found him to be just fine and I didn’t care if he wasn’t the friendliest person as he had the best French pastries in St Louis. I feel the same way about China Wok. Their food is excellent and that is my main focus. Also, English is clearly not some people’s first language or culture, so I am willing to be more forgiving in those situations.“

“The food is pretty tasty, well priced, and satisfies my korean food cravings. You typically have to wait about 30 minutes for the food as everything is cooked to order. It is inside a korean grocery store so it's great to be able to stock up on korean groceries. It is also located next to a korean bakery so that's another plus. I have had the bulgogi, spicy pork, kimchi fried rice, dduboki, jjampong, and jjajangmyeon. The portions are very large and everything tastes authentic.“

“This is my go to takeout place! Nothing turns a bad day around like Chinese food from China Garden! The employees are all fantastic and so kind. Their menu has every option you could ever want and I can get enough food to feed me the entire week for under $20 not to mention the freebies that occasionally find their way into my bag which always makes my day. I recommend this place to all of my friends and probably get take out 1 every 2 weeks or sometimes even once a week because I cannot get enough of their delicious food.
