“They saved the day for us! We had catering set up for a graduation party with another place and they ghosted us. My husband went up there the morning of the party, and they were able to make enough food for 30 people for pick up by that afternoon! The food was excellent and our guests were asking us where it came from. We had no leftovers lol. Thank you so much!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pictured below is the Gonzo calzone- Salami, dates, spinach, garlic herb cheese, mozzarella, mascarpone-ricotta blend, and garlic oil with garlic butter on the side. My husband looked at me like I was crazy when I read off dates but the slight sweetness against all of that savory is what made it!! We also tried the Fatty B, Meat me in St Louie, Magic Carpet Ride, and the Gyro. They were all amazing but the Gonzo and the Gyro were my favorites. The Magic Carpet Ride is also a must try if you're into mushrooms.”

“Wok Express has become my local go to. I usually go with the (Springfield) Fried Cashew Chicken and gravy or Sesame Chicken with fried rice.The crab Rangoon are old school where they are more savory than sweet. I do wish they had a St. Paul Sandwich. Give this place a try.”

We walked in around 11am Saturday, 07/18/26, and could tell something was off, chairs still up, register not yet opened for the day. The employee at the counter kindly welcomed us in for dine-in anyway.

When it was time to pay, he and a coworker from the back had to figure out the register together from scratch, clearly not their usual job, no training, but they stayed calm, worked through it, and got us checked out correctly without complaint or excuse.

Food came out perfectly prepared and exactly as ordered.

Whatever staffing gap caused this, these gentlemen handled it with patience, kindness, and professionalism. Five stars for them, they showed up and made it work. Excellent problem solving under pressure.”

“West County doesn't have a lot of restaurants offering a vegan menu AND a regular menu. Enter Smokee Mo's. Very pleased with their vegan offerings. If you are vegan or plant based but still want that BBQ flavor I strongly recommend. In addition, their friendliness and customer service are have always been top notch. Highly recommend.”
