“They deserve a 5.0 rating and not just a 4.9!!! The bibimbap was so good, you definitely get your money's worth out of the portion, and if you like spice, definitely something I suggest! The sushi was good as well. I also suggest getting the green tea icecream. Very subtle taste, creamy, and the after taste is where you get the green tea. The complimentary pineapple was wonderful and also a nice touch. Wonderful service and restaurant.“

“Wonderful food. Elegantly presented sashimi, sushi, takoyaki, gyoza, udon, don buri (bowls of food), and other Japanese options. Many many types of sushi rolls. In total, there is not only more than standard Japanese fare, but it is also delicious, high quality, and beautifully presented. Many different sakes, mixed drinks, and Japanese beers along with international Gin, bourbon, tequila, rum options. They even have Japanese soda pop. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely decor with exquisite hand painted scenes. I had been there once before and couldn’t wait to go back for seconds to show my adult son who also, this day enjoyed his food immensely.“

“My experience was truly wonderful. Tom who helped me was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. He took the time to really understand what I was looking for and explained everything in a thoughtful and genuine way, even though the place was already busy before I arrived.

Was definitely enough food for two people, and the piece is about $70 after tax. Not too bad. I always wanted to come since I’ve heard good things from family. Now that I have, I will come back, just maybe not anytime soon. But overall the quality of the fish is fresh and good. I would’ve liked a little bit more rice on the sushi but it was good!“

“Ordered take-out and food was a lot more than I expected. Eel was great and it covered every inch of my rice. It justified the cost no doubt. Usually take-out you get skimped out but this place made sure you had plenty!

Price was comparable to other sushi places. I got the calamari appetizer and the unagi bowl (eel over rice), my go to sushi item.“

“I recently tried this sushi place after seeing it on TikTok, and I’m SO glad I did. I’m usually not even a huge sushi person, but I was craving it one day and decided to give it a shot. The workers were incredibly kind, especially the man who served us — he had such great energy and made the experience even better. The restaurant itself was adorable and so comforting, with cute decorations everywhere that made it feel really warm and welcoming. And the sushi… omg. Easily the best sushi I’ve ever had. “We went at 12 pm. Best pad see ew i have been able to find in STL yet. I had some in California that i fell inlove with that i haven’t found a place as good as this. It was not busy at all and they do close at 2. They were quick and Mai Tai was also yummy. I have seen bigger portions but i prefer it to be this portion and taste the way it did then bigger portions and not as good.“
