Adorable little place on the corner of the strip mall with FIRE sushi!
We had a wonderful experience! There are tons of different sushi options and an extensive menu of traditional style dishes. The Sukiyaki is to die for! I highly recommend Ichiban for anyone wanting to explore a more traditional style that's full of flavor.
I lived in Japan for 4 years so my standards are quite high for Sushi and Japanese food in general. In my opinion, this is the best Sushi spot in STL and beats out everywhere else. They don’t skimp on the portion sizes for the nigiri and sashimi and the service is always good. The fish was some of the best quality I’ve gotten in this landlocked state.
