“Kaelen Felix recommended this lovely restaurant. We enjoyed meeting the owner and her staff that helped us pick the best taco. She was right. We actually tried five different ones. They were all delicious. I particularly liked how they doubled up the delicious corn tortillas. The exciting spice and the crisp onions or salad toppings made a savory meal. we will be returning! We would recommend this to anyone who enjoys authentic food”

“One of the things about Imo's is that they vary quite a bit by location. Some locations are great, some are just okay. Some are sad! This one isn't a top-tier Imo's on food quality alone, but it is pretty good. I'd give it four out of five starts food-wise. However, I do like that it's a real restaurant with dine-in, while so many Imo's aren't any more. It's nice to be able to sit down and enjoy when it's hot and fresh.”

“We celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary by having a unique dessert. We had never been here before and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was kind and welcoming. The chimney cakes we ordered were delicious. Definitely a must for anyone wanting something different with an inviting atmosphere.”

I called ahead and asked the staff if they could help me surprise my wife for our anniversary dinner. All I told them was, “I’m planning to bring my wife here for our first time to celebrate our 3-year anniversary. Please help me make it a memorable experience for her. She doesn’t know about this.” From that moment on, the staff went above and beyond for us. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. They spent time with me on the phone suggesting ideas and helping plan the entire evening. As soon as we walked through the front doors, we were greeted with warm smiles and escorted to our table. While my wife was admiring the beautiful and cozy atmosphere, the staff gave me the reassuring “we got you” signal, allowing me to sit back, relax, and enjoy the night with her. The evening turned out even better than I expected. Every moment left my wife amazed, and she had a smile on her face the entire night. Thank you to all of the amazing staff members for making our anniversary so special. We officially found our new favorite place for dinner dates. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone. “I finally made it and really it’s worth 100 stars , The chicken salad is probably the best salad in Stl , everything about it is perfect , chicken soo good , lettuce chopped with tons of parsley, all ingredients top notch and the dressing is excellent. I had the spinach pie for dinner and it is heaven . I’ve already planned on nesting 2 sets of ppl there! Can’t wait to go back!”

“I go to the Shack at least once a month. I was there recently and received excellent food and service. Jennifer was great server, nothing was too much trouble. She helped move all of our coats and bags in order to change our seats. She was cheerful and helpful. I bring my out-of-town guests here often.
