“Cute little restaurant and bar. Met a friend for lunch. I ordered the BLC Salad. They mix the ranch dressing into the salad which was a nice plus. The salad was huge which was another huge plus. I like when the sliced egg and chicken are warm when the rest of the salad ingredients are cold. Fresh ingredients and very flavorful. The vibe of this restaurant felt like a neighborhood bar like Cheers. Very good service.“

We each ordered our food, which I had previewed the menu ahead and decided on salmon and Mac n cheese. The salmon was cooked perfectly. It was tender and moist, which is important for salmon! The Mac n cheese was a little dry, but probably because we had a good conversation going and I may have waited too long to get to that. Lol I also had a fruit cup with fresh fruits. I should mention that I had a double chocolate almond brownie, that was tempting me at the ordering counter. 😜 The young lady at the order counter was very kind and helpful, especially since it was my first time. “waited 15 minutes after being seated while wait staff just ignored us. we finally asked the hostess if we could place our order. a waiter came out finally, no apology for our wait. we placed.our order the he never came back. we waited 15 minutes after ordering and never got our beverages. it wasn't super crowded, only the patio was full. it's a shame because they do have good food but I will not be returning. Do not recommend if you ever want to eat. I have never walked out of a restaurant like that in my 42 years. it was terrible“

“We had a 6 top on Friday April 17 at 6pm in Royal Oak. Danielle was our server, she was nice, polite and quick. The 1 appetizer for another couple came with their dinner. 4 of the six people got their meals. About 5 mins later our 2 burgers came. Both prepared wrong (order was 1 burger as is on menu, 1 burger with only pickles). Both were sent back. Waitress came over, realized we didn't have our meal, apologized. 5 mins later a manager came over and said our meal would be out soon. As our friends were just about finished with their meals, our burgers finally came, about 15 mins too late. Burgers were fine. Nothing to brag about, I ate half because I had lost my appetite. When the bill came, nothing was comped or reduced in price. My husband paid the bill and I was pretty PO'ed at him that he actually paid it without asking for some sort of discount. The steak ordered by a friend was super salty, and the chicken on the salad was dry. I know they have kinks to work out, but the place and food isn't really much to brag about.“
