“My wife and I celebrated our 3-year anniversary here, and the experience was absolutely unforgettable. I called ahead and asked the staff if they could help me surprise my wife for our anniversary dinner. All I told them was, “I’m planning to bring my wife here for our first time to celebrate our 3-year anniversary. Please help me make it a memorable experience for her. She doesn’t know about this.” From that moment on, the staff went above and beyond for us. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. They spent time with me on the phone suggesting ideas and helping plan the entire evening. As soon as we walked through the front doors, we were greeted with warm smiles and escorted to our table. While my wife was admiring the beautiful and cozy atmosphere, the staff gave me the reassuring “we got you” signal, allowing me to sit back, relax, and enjoy the night with her. The evening turned out even better than I expected. Every moment left my wife amazed, and she had a smile on her face the entire night. Thank you to all of the amazing staff members for making our anniversary so special. We officially found our new favorite place for dinner dates. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone. “My company, MARIS, held a dinner four our retiring CEO on Friday evening and it was absolutely wonderful! I worked with Jade in planning the event and she was very responsive and helpful. She and Jasmin took care of all the attendees and provided superb service. Our food was excellent and the room was set just as planned. I would highly recommend Bishop’s Post for your next event. “We had a 6 top on Friday April 17 at 6pm in Royal Oak. Danielle was our server, she was nice, polite and quick. The 1 appetizer for another couple came with their dinner. 4 of the six people got their meals. About 5 mins later our 2 burgers came. Both prepared wrong (order was 1 burger as is on menu, 1 burger with only pickles). Both were sent back. Waitress came over, realized we didn't have our meal, apologized. 5 mins later a manager came over and said our meal would be out soon. As our friends were just about finished with their meals, our burgers finally came, about 15 mins too late. Burgers were fine. Nothing to brag about, I ate half because I had lost my appetite. When the bill came, nothing was comped or reduced in price. My husband paid the bill and I was pretty PO'ed at him that he actually paid it without asking for some sort of discount. The steak ordered by a friend was super salty, and the chicken on the salad was dry. I know they have kinks to work out, but the place and food isn't really much to brag about.“

“I walked into a classy interior and sat at the bar. I was welcomed there by the owner and he made me feel like a king. I had some fine tequila and ordered the duck. Both were fantastic. The service was wonderful. One of the best duck breast dishes I ever had. Hats off to Westchester for a positive experience“

“This is my favorite restaurant for a nice meal. Whenever I am in town with customers, I always take them to Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill. The food is superb. The atmosphere is very pleasant and warm which sets the tone to a very enjoyable night. The coffee crusted center cut is a must try. It absolutely melts in your mouth and super flavorful. Their house old fashion is one of the best old fashions I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a spectacular experience.“

“This IHOP was good as most. It was not busy at all for a Friday afternoon. My wife, one cousin, and myself had a good meal and was not rushed to exit, so we had time to visit.
The only NEGATIVE was the sign on the front door that weapons were not allowed. IHOP: this is a open (and concealed) carry state!!“

“We were in town for college visits, back to school shopping, and a Savanna Bananas game. We wanted something near shopping and food so our options were all over the place in terms of hotels.

Technically we haven’t completed our stay but we are more than halfway through it and I am blown away. I almost didn’t book this hotel because of some recent reviews. I had my options down to a handful of places between here and Clayton. I left it up to fate and had my kids choose without giving them any background. Of course they loved the pictures of the pool at the DoubleTree and that was more than likely what “sold” them.

Leading up to arrival I was nervous about the conditions of the rooms (we booked adjoining), customer service, and cleanliness.
Upon arrival, my kids were already blown away by the lobby. Clean, updated, and welcoming. We didn’t stop at the front desk because we did online check in but we received a smile and a “welcome” from the front desk.
We arrived in our two rooms and the kids immediately began claiming their bed/spaces. Although I understand “dated” was the term most used in several reviews, this was not what I pictured. Maybe the furniture isn’t the style that many places have right now but the condition does not reflect “old” imo. I feel like both rooms were tasteful, clean, and had great space. That’s really what I’m looking for in a room.
I love that they have drawers and a large closet/cabinet for unloading luggage. There’s a desk with chair and reading chair in both rooms. There’s a mini fridge (enough for prob a 24pk of beverages), vertical mirror (you’d be surprised at how many hotels I’ve been to this year that don’t have one), wet bar, and more. I love that the toilet is separate from the sink.
The beds are comfortable and everyone in the family seems to be sleeping great!

We enjoyed food last night in the lounge area too! Amber took care of us and made great recommendations. We had the Loaded tots, wings, and braised beef short rib. I told my husband if this hotel didn’t already impress me as much as it did, I would come back just for the Braised Beef Short rib. It was the most tender, most flavorful meal I’ve had in a long time. Such a great recommendation. The staff was so friendly in the lounge area! We had a great evening.
We toured the grounds after dinner last night. This place just keeps going. Pools, a HUGE fitness area, pickleball, tennis, and soooo much more. I’m not even sure we saw everything we could.
I highly recommend this hotel. Absolutely the best of everything here. Staff, conditions, views, location (we loved being right by Top Golf), cleanliness, and comfort.
We will definitely be back.“
