“Absoluetly the best reaturant in town. From the minute to you walk in the door your experience begins. It's a family favorite, as well,as all our friends favorite. I brought a friend from church who had never been there for lunch. She was so impressed and our waitress went above and beond to make her experience the best. She doesn't get the opportunity to go out and this was truly a treat and our server/waiteress went out of her way to make my guest feel special and also sent her home not only with her leftover from lunch, but fresh rolls a new container of sauce for her sandwich made sure her soda was always filled and I think she knew it was a special treat for her. I tried to find her when I left to thank her again. Thom Sehnert you are one in a million. Your restaurant and Smokehouse are amazing, and you do alot for the Community. “Well established restaurant only open from 5-9 pm so get your reservations in or you will miss out on the quaint ambiance and phenomenal service that is a staple here. Salads are crisp and fresh and the bread is warm and tasty. Chicken Parmesan is a large portion and crisp, with a tangy sauce and plenty of cheese. Seafood linguini was good and filled with lots of seafood. Tiramisu was moist , flavorful and loved the addition of fresh fruit on top.“

“Addie's Thai House was a wonderful experience. The staff was kind and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. I could make a meal off their spring rolls with sweet and sour sauce. The Pad Thai with chicken was so good. We ended the meal with the fried bananas with ice cream. The perfect ending to a perfect meal. We will definitely return soon!“

“We got a large fruit cake for a birthday party, and it was a hit! The birthday girl isn't a fan of most store-bought frosting, so we wanted a whipped cream frosting. The cake was beautiful and delicious (not too sweet, but the kids still came back for seconds), and the service at the bakery was excellent. Even the packaging was great; the cake box had sturdy handles, and the cake was on a firm gold board that made transporting and serving a breeze. They even included a plastic cake knife and some birthday candles! We've enjoyed their other baked goods many times, and we'll certainly be back for future cake orders.“

“Had Chris’ birthday dinner at Stoney River Steakhouse. As our server Tate was amazing! The steaks were tender enough to cut with a fork and the carrot cake for Chris was exceptional! Tate made the birthday experience for Chris extra special… and he made sure to keep my Long Island properly filled and made sure my chocolate cake had the proper amount of ganache! “I love that it's casual, and food is so good, fast and hot. And it's not a crowded as the Olive location. Highly recommended. It is my favorite Chinese eatery!
You can't go wrong with anything that you order but I love their pork belly noodles, sizzling platter of eggplants or tofu, spicy crispy chicken or sweet and sour fish... but really, everything is great.
I normally get one familiar dish that I love, plus a new dish I've never had before. Two entrees and share with two people, you still have leftover for another meal. Just phenomenal place for lunch AND dinner.

“Cozy atmosphere. They have a great beer/saki selection not normally available at other Missouri restaurants, so that was fun. I left four stars on the food, only because I ordered pad thai with medium heat, and it should be known it's a low medium heat. I could have probably tolerated a hot level. Service was wonderful. We paid and ordered using the QR code, but the person seating us said that they would come take our order if we preferred. Keep that in mind for older people who may not like ordering from QR codes.“

“Just got back from Vegas late and looking for a snack. My wife is very healthy conscious and wanted vegetables. After checking out several restaurants that were already closed, we checked out Valley Wok’s menu. She ordered the vegetarian moo shu with tofu. I ordered the steamed dumplings and shrimp and pork hunan style. Everything was delicious and enough food left over for lunch. We will definitely put this on our regular take out list.“

“My first stop when I come in town from Florida. The food is the best Chinese food in the country. Not exaggerating. The chicken broccoli with garlic sauce is my favorite. The hot and sour soup is also the best I have ever had. The shrimp dishes are also delicious. The food is always very fresh tasting and cooked perfectly -- crisp vegetables & tender meat. The owner is so nice. I highly recommend Hunan Empress if you want a great meal with large portions and very reasonable prices. Simply put -- THE BEST!“

“We had my niece’s 25th birthday here and I was a fabulous party. We asked for Becky to serve us which she always does with exuberant smiles and attention. Matt, Satchmo’s owner, was here and mingled with us like any bar/restaurant should. As a chef, this tells me volumes of how he runs his establishment. I religiously order the pork green chili(which is phenomenal) and the fish and chips were to die for, exactly how I like it. This place is the quintessential neighborhood bar!“
