“We had our son and daughter in law’s rehearsal dinner at Mellow Mushroom and boy, did we choose a great place! They had us all set up for 25 people beautifully when we arrived and was quickly introduced to our amazing server, Katie. Between her and her crew of helpers (for lack of a better word), we were taken care of so well. Tara, the bartender also tended to us with quick and excellent service. The general manager Ahmad checked on us several times to be sure we were happy and everyone was taken care of. Food and drinks were quickly and deliciously served and enjoyed. The atmosphere is so fun and upbeat. I don’t think we had one problem (except us being 7 minutes late - so sorry about that!!). We go to Mellow Mushroom as a couple and a family and now we can add as a wedding party and extended family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!“

I called ahead and asked the staff if they could help me surprise my wife for our anniversary dinner. All I told them was, “I’m planning to bring my wife here for our first time to celebrate our 3-year anniversary. Please help me make it a memorable experience for her. She doesn’t know about this.” From that moment on, the staff went above and beyond for us. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. They spent time with me on the phone suggesting ideas and helping plan the entire evening. As soon as we walked through the front doors, we were greeted with warm smiles and escorted to our table. While my wife was admiring the beautiful and cozy atmosphere, the staff gave me the reassuring “we got you” signal, allowing me to sit back, relax, and enjoy the night with her. The evening turned out even better than I expected. Every moment left my wife amazed, and she had a smile on her face the entire night. Thank you to all of the amazing staff members for making our anniversary so special. We officially found our new favorite place for dinner dates. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone. Normally, I enjoy the Taco Salad in a Fried shell, my favorite, but wanted to explore the shrimp 🍤 and Chicken served on a sizzling oven plate. The Shrimp and Chicken with mushrooms far surpassed my expectations. Best of all, I talked to Scott and meet Sergio with the El Tio Pepe family all there helping and smiling. Thank you, again. “We go to Yellowstone Cafe every time we are passing through St. Louis. The Walleye fish dinner is their speciality but all their fish dinners are excellent. In our party our order consisted of Crabcakes, Frog legs, and of course the Walleye.
Three nights a week they offer a kids special platter for 99 cents! What a bonus for parents. Their French fries are very good! The Green Goddess dressing is excellent on their house salad.

“The pizza was delicious, but what really stood out to me was the staff. While I was waiting for takeout after a long day at work, I got to see how genuinely kind and caring they were toward one another. One employee had finished his shift and was waiting for a ride, and the way everyone interacted with him—including one of the younger hosts helping his dad encourage him to head home—was just so sweet and genuine.

“Okay….. so every time I come to a Waffle House and order a waffle, my expectations are pretty low, because….. it’s a Waffle House. Decent food, decent prices and you always know what to expect (service is usually good, too).

But at this place, apparently they have the “new” waffle irons. I ordered a waffle and it was fantastic!!! Light, fluffy, THICK, tasty! Definitely worth a stop for breakfast!

Heide was our server and she was friendly, courteous and heppful!

Next time we pass through St. Louis, this will be a place we stop!
