It was a busy Saturday night but we arrived at 6:30 and didn’t need reservation. The seared salmon had a unique flavor with garlic, pecan balsamic and pesto. “James, our server, made it a fun evening. The food as always, was perfect. We had the caprese with lobster salad to start. Light and tasty. Then we had the 12oz Australian Wagyu, cooked to perfection and just about as good as Japanese Wagyu for a lot less. Served sliced and placed in the middle. We love Wagyu and this is a special dish. We were thrilled they had it tonight. We also had the pasta special, spinach tagliatelle with shrimp and scallops and a cheesy delicious sauce with bacon, almost like a carbonara. Not ultra creamy but super good. Big shrimp and scallops. Finally we had the Truffle Mac and Cheese which is addicting and awesome. We brought some home for our grand daughter. Napoli 2 is a great restaurant.“
“Got there early before our 8 o’clock reservations to have cocktails at the bar prior to seating. Unfortunately, a bunch of squatters eating pizza at the bar had the place completely packed so we had to wait in the foyer before we got seated. not sure why a place of this stature doesn’t have an appropriate cocktail pre-dinner waiting area for reservation guests instead allows perennial squatters to compromise that area. Do they really need the money that bad? Our waitress said the people that are eating at the bar are the same ones week after week after week. I recommend you go somewhere else to have cocktails before dinner. food was really , really good and we will go back but will go somewhere else for a pre-dinner cocktails and show up at reservation time. Otherwise we’ll be standing out in the foyer while squatters are at the bar. This is a common practice among the nicer restaurants in town. I will say the food was really special. we had the shrimp and scallop entree, the pizza, and the morel mushroom special. All were outstanding. Wine by the bottle pricing was appropriate. Very nice dinner for sure.“
“This place is decent. Went ther recently for a work happy hour and although my group had an entire section reserved (5 or 6 tables) the waitress seemed very concerned when we tried to push some of the tables together. Lol otherwise it was great“
“My kids took me here last night; 11 yrs in st peters and I've not been before. Great little dive. Super casual. Service was friendly, prices super reasonable, and the food was good. If you ask, they have a list of gf and non gluten free menu items so you can make informed choices. I'm gluten intolerant not celiac so i didn't inquire regarding cross contamination. i got a juicy grilled pork chop, really good baked beans, and broccoli cauli salad: $8.95. Kids got catfish and a burger, the Slick Willy. i was told we lucked out by being able to walk in and sit down - they do get busy busy. There were some outdoor tables as well if the weather is pleasant.“

“We visited Arch Nemesis Brewery as part of a Brew Hop STL tour and it was great! The beer offerings were solid and the atmosphere was chill with games available for our group. The owner came out to let us sample and talk with us about an exciting experimental brew they are working on! This is definitely a brewery we will be checking in with when we are back in STL next to see what they are working on!“
“I went there today for an early dinner and the food was Excellent as usual. The tuscan chicken sandwich was really delicious and the homemade coleslaw also. Other dinners had a variety of specials and they all looked scrumptious. The servers and owners are great and make you feel at home. Rocky and Ted are always entertaining and there were a number of musicians in attendance which speaks well for the the appeal of great food and music.“

“It looks a little basic from outside. Inside holds bar seating, and a myriad of tables. It is not fancy.But,the food! The food is delicious. Pretty much all of it. We have gone many times, and everyone always loves their chosen dish. The chef is wonderful and the staff is courteous and does a great job. They have daily specials which also prove delish each time. Our favorite is the Sunday chicken dinner. It’s the only restaurant we have been to where the chicken breast is not salted to point of inedible. Fresh mashed potatoes are wonderful. Highly recommend this neighborhood restaurant.“

“We hosted a surprise birthday party for my fiancé at the Rec Hall's private room and it was a perfect space! The room was huge and even had its own outdoor portion for guests to use as well which we did not know about at first! The private room had ample table space for setting up food and tables/chairs/couches for guests to lounge and eat at along with its own private games as well. We really enjoyed using the two tvs to display a photo slideshow and a big bluetooth speaker to play music which were all provided already in the booking package. In addition to the private room being a great space for everyone, what really impressed my guests and I were how attentive and friendly the staff were! They attended to the guests for drinks constantly and helped us with setting up for the event as well as answering any questions we had at the time. They all provided great customer service and were always quick to help when we wanted to order more pizza for example. Everyone had a great time and we will all definitely be back!“
“I don’t write reviews. It’s an incredibly rare occasion when I post something like this…but damn was the nightshift deluxe pizza worth the admission. Definitely in the top 5 if not top 3 pizzas all time, and I’m a fat retired Army guy that’s been around a bit and have had a lot of pizza. Well worth the visit for their Provel cheese that makes the thin crust pizza work. This is the first thin crust that breaks the top 10,5 and 3. Great atmosphere if you like a good neighborhood bar, I would go out of my way to visit this place again that happens to be by a hotel I’m staying while going home to take care of my Dad.“

Best I can tell, most things are from scratch. You can never go wrong with their soups. Big fan of the TouchTunes and the morning / day crowd are all great folks. They do allow smoking. But like I said, it is a bar.“

“Ordered take out on a Friday evening in November, picked this restaurant because they were near to our house, good reviews and they had carnitas with corn tortillas. The food was ready when I got there. The atmosphere is very ceremonial within the restaurant. I had fajitas, we shared chips with guacamole, the other parties in our group ordered shredded chicken tacos, carnitas corn tortillas and a shrimp burrito. The chips and guacamole were great including the salsa that came with it. All were gone by the end of the evening. My fajitas were tender and flavorful. The shredded chicken tacos were dry. The carnitas and shrimp burritos were good.“

“The martini's are consistently perfect! Period! Beautiful menu to choose from. The food is good but I go there for the Martinis. My favorite is the vodka selections. The atmosphere is cool and friendly. I highly recommend giving this one a try!“

“My first visit here was yesterday. The name of the place is awfully pretentious, but it doesn't stop there. The lunch I tried was their Best Ever Pork Cutlet. It was pretty good, but.......best ever? I knocked the atmosphere for this place down a star because the interior lighting was way too dark for my taste, but that's just me. Coming in out of bright sunlight makes it a safety issue in my opinion. I will mention that this was one of the few places I've been that really knows how to do french fries right - crunchy outside with a soft interior. The place was a little run down, but they certainly are confident, and their prices are quite reasonable.“

Every dish we tried was perfectly prepared and had a good flavor.As a side note, before I make recommendations, I have an autoimmune condition called celiac disease. I am so sensitive that 20 ppm is still too high for my body's response, and even though I was aware of the possibility of cross-contamination, they went far above and beyond and took additional preventative measures to ensure my safety. Now, with that out of the way, I recommend trying the gluten-free pizzas and the bruchetta. Of course, I subbed the toast for their bag of gluten-free chips, and while the chips aren't precisely the same, the dish is still tasty.
