“We hosted a surprise birthday party for my fiancé at the Rec Hall's private room and it was a perfect space! The room was huge and even had its own outdoor portion for guests to use as well which we did not know about at first! The private room had ample table space for setting up food and tables/chairs/couches for guests to lounge and eat at along with its own private games as well. We really enjoyed using the two tvs to display a photo slideshow and a big bluetooth speaker to play music which were all provided already in the booking package. In addition to the private room being a great space for everyone, what really impressed my guests and I were how attentive and friendly the staff were! They attended to the guests for drinks constantly and helped us with setting up for the event as well as answering any questions we had at the time. They all provided great customer service and were always quick to help when we wanted to order more pizza for example. Everyone had a great time and we will all definitely be back!“
“Went here to hear a friends Band play. Wasn't expecting Smoking. Aside from that they serve coke products (had a diet coke that was mostly ice), and the loud music between the Bands set not too bad of a place. Would I go back again...probably not, smoke, coke, loud Radio music.“

“Went last night with a friend. Great atmosphere, love the new digs! Love that are not one but 4 gluten free options for me to try. All ciders and yummy. If I had and draw backs? The music was great from my Generation, but too loud. I couldn’t hear the pin ball machine dings, or the bad guys dying on the video games, which is 1/2 of the enjoyment! “My wife and I had brunch here today, and while I recommend for food quality, they have necessary improvements to make. 1st - One of their signature items is the Lobster omelette. They list the price online at 18.00, but in person it’s 28.00. 2nd - They employ an absolutely unfriendly hostess, who could barely keep her particulars stuffed inside a mini-skirt. 3rd - They currently “enjoy” a fly infestation that needs an exterminator’s attention. We had between 1 and 3 flies buzzing around our table for the entire meal. I killed one with my water glass and the server removed the carcass without offer for compensation, nor the manager’s notification. We sat in the middle of the dining room, behind the bar area, so this wasn’t an incidental fly who just happened to come in thru the front doors. The server confirmed the problem was ongoing, as she waited on a table last night in another area that suffered the same fate. Beyond these things, we give the food a 5/5 rating for the following items we ordered: Full Bottle Mimosa’s, Lobster Omelette, Banana Bread French Toast, Everything Bagel with cream cheese, and a side of bacon.“

“I was here in The Dive the other night and several times before that and found the bartender to be very attentive and on her game! The gentleman claiming their song was skipped failed to mention that it it was skipped by the fast pass option capable on any touch tunes machine. These patrons were upset that the bartender didn't skip the other customers song as they had requested and then asked to cash out and left annoyed due to her not fulfilling her request. It's a shame that others can give a bad review simply because they didn't get their way. The Dive is a fun bar with an entertaining atmosphere and great customer service by all who tend bar. Give it a try for yourself and I promise you will have an awesome experience!Vegetarian options: Their veggie pizza is delicious.“

“Great night Saturday seeing Trixie delight right up front and centered. Valerie did get servicing our 8 person table. Sucked there was smoking allowed inside! And the women's bathroom was questionable especially the location by kitchen supplies. The mostaccioli and pizza was amazing drunk food. Strong drinks but I like it that way. This place been here forever I wish they showed online for event that we had to pay a 5$ door fee in cash cuz a lot of my friends wasn't prepared. We came for my birthday so it was chill night.“
“So glad this place exists in St. Charles! The frozen cocktails are delicious and strong. Narwhal's has the best drinks out of all the frozen cocktail places I have been to which includes places in Colorado, Florida, and other places in Missouri. The 40oz fishbowl is totally worth it! You keep the fishbowl and if you bring it back then you get $5 off refills. The staff is knowledgeable about the ingredients in the drinks like what type of alcohol is in them, etc. They also let you taste flavors before ordering them! Overall Narwhal's is a fantastic place to get drinks!“
