“We came in for a Father's Day gift. Met up with Stephen at the Bourbon and Brews festival hosted by the STL Bourbon Society and was interrsted in the bourbon tasting experience.

We came in on a Sunday and got to experience something so many bourbon enthusiasts rarely get to: tasting and then trying to blend your favorites together.

The first 1hr or so was spent sampling 20 different bourbons, wheats, ryes, and single malt /Barley. The staff was attentive and awesome to interact with. As we tasted our way through the bourbons we ordered the chacuturrie (sp?) Board. The meats and cheese came from a local store and all from MO, and were delicious. Personal favs were the jalepeno & honey cheddar and the cajun sausage.

The last 2 hrs was spent with Stephen and Zach, trying to get our blends to match what we wanted. A lot of trial and error but their knowledge on which whiskey inparted which flavor/heat/abv was impressive. 1st blend too earthy? Zach knew which bourbon was the culprit and how to adjust, and kept at it to get you the blend you wanted.

The end of this 5hr experience (we're on the slow side and took our time) was a bottle that was unique, an experience that left us thinking of when we could come back, and as a bourbon fan; a better understanding of how challenging it is to create a great blend.

For the price of $140/person we had a personalized tasting, a custom bottle ( we picked the name of our bottle), this is an experience everyone should try; especially if you're diving into the bourbon scene.

“One of the better mid size venues to see a show. We've been multiple times over the last 10 years and have never had a bad experience. They have the right amount of security to make everyone feel safe but not so much that it impacts the experience if the show gets a little rowdy. With that being said the demeanor of the crowd as far as the shows I've been to has been great. I've yet to see any fights or groups of people getting blackout drunk. For me the acoustics of the old building have been wonderful and the set up of the stage gives a good view for most of the patrons. Certain shows will fill the building so it's always best to get there early. Also total gold star move that they have multiple water stations with cups on each floor.“

“Stopped by for a chill night and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was actually pretty decent—crispy crust, good flavor, and hit the spot. The pool tables were a nice bonus and kept things fun without feeling too crowded.

“This place is the most welcoming, warm, full of good people dive bar I have ever been to in my life. Lots of pinball machines, wonderful bartenders and patrons, Dan-o's pizza if you get hungry. The pinball machines are half the cost. They are anywhere else that I've been to. The owners are amazing. And the people are such a great group of people. This place has been my home bar for 4 years and I don't see that changing. I always feel safe, welcome, and protected when I am in this bar. “Go to this bar. Bike parking right up front, every band I've seen so far are all very good, I immediately made friends with everyone there, I became family in 3 visits. Everyone watches out for everyone, no fights, drinks are very reasonable, there's good parking around back. The bar owner Judy commands respect and everyone loves her. If you like slayer, and pink Floyd, and grateful dead, and megadeth, this is the bar. I'd say it's my favorite bar period.“

“Everything about Robin was above expectations! Traveled in from Chicago, and before I arrived to St Louis, the team was able to help me secure a reservation. Upon arriving to Robin, the dining experience and service was impeccable. The vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant was perfection and truly allowed for a beautiful dining experience. Tables are well spaced, and the noise level that typically generates from other diners was basically non-existant. Drinks were top-notch, and whoever curated the drink menu should also get high praise. We ordered the snacks and bread to go along with the tasting menu. The snack bites started the food journey on the right food. My dining partner and I bother ordered the bread, and we probably could have gotten away with just one order. Every dish that we ordered from the tasting menu qas perfection. Standouts were the venison tartar, trout, chicken and short rib. It wss fantastic to also watch Chef Alec prepare each and every dish thst went out. The entire team was exceptional, and worked harmoniously like a beautiful choreographed ballet. “Bunker's is a nice corner pub with a outdoor covered patio. The price of drinks was much lower than I anticipated, meant more to tip the bartender. Friendly patrons at least the few I met. I went here on Saturday January 16th for a celebration of life memorial service for my best friend. It's a very small place, very clean and nice located in a residential quaint neighborhood. The prices for drinks are very reasonable. I would recommend going here and will be going back.“

“Coming in there was no one in here. To find they opened late today. Only had wings and fries. Ordered garlic Parmesan, sweet hot, and buffalo. Chicken cooked to perfection. Some of the selections were a little salty to me but overall the food is great and the staff is friendly. Will definitely make this a spot to visit in the future. You can rent out the whole place for a reasonable fee. Don’t sleep on this establishment. Did I mention it’s black owned.“
