“My wife and I are visiting the St. Louis area and my wife found this gem. This was a great experience. Stephen and Zach were fantastic hosts. Tasting all the whiskeys and finding a blend that matched our taste was so much fun! We picked our bottle style and came up with the name for our blend. You do need to budget at least two hours to pace yourself and even partake in some of their food offerings. At the end of the night, we took home a bottle of “The Year of Steph”. Whether you are a seasoned whiskey drinker or new to the spirit, you will have a great time. They also have a selection of cocktails, but we did not sample any (next time!).“

“Moderately sized music venue. Clean and good selection of drinks, including seltzer. There is limited seating as well as a second floor. Not a huge venue, but it's one of my favorites in stl... the first favorite, being the sister venue, delmar hall.“

“A cool little dive bar with pinball machines. On a Sunday night they seem to have some league whereby people play them all night so normal patrons can’t use them. It’s a pretty cool place though, and if you can find a night where you can play pinball or just listen to the jukebox, I’d definitely recommend it. Tiny chef is excellent also and they sell food at a window inside the bar.“

“This place is so, so cool. My cousin took me out for dinner and I had never even heard of this spot. Wow, it’s such a beautiful and moody spot full of charm!! We had to wait 15 minutes for a booth but I didn’t mind because this place serves LOOKS. The decor was awesome! Everything from the stellar service, crispy and lacey smash burgers and gorgeous dining room(s) made me realize why this spot is always recommended to me. We were very happy with our food and it was under $50 for two people! Check out Golden Hoosier, you won’t regret it.“

“Stopped by for a chill night and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was actually pretty decent—crispy crust, good flavor, and hit the spot. The pool tables were a nice bonus and kept things fun without feeling too crowded.
Big shoutout to Billy W. behind the bar—super friendly, quick with drinks, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely the kind of bartender that keeps you coming back.“

“I love that there's a total dive bar in uptight, old money Clayton. Staff is down to earth, the patrons don't get too drunk. Drinks are reasonably priced. If you're in Clayton and want a drink without worrying about who is listening to your conversation, this is the place to go.“

“Go to this bar. Bike parking right up front, every band I've seen so far are all very good, I immediately made friends with everyone there, I became family in 3 visits. Everyone watches out for everyone, no fights, drinks are very reasonable, there's good parking around back. The bar owner Judy commands respect and everyone loves her. If you like slayer, and pink Floyd, and grateful dead, and megadeth, this is the bar. I'd say it's my favorite bar period.“

“Easily one of the top restaurants to try in STL. The dishes were well executed and the service timed everything perfectly. I would love to see the chef have a bit more creative license and split a some more from the upscale American tradition. Also... may need some more acoustic treatment for the space. But overall, it was a fun experience.“

I went here on Saturday January 16th for a celebration of life memorial service for my best friend. It's a very small place, very clean and nice located in a residential quaint neighborhood. The prices for drinks are very reasonable. I would recommend going here and will be going back.“
“Coming in there was no one in here. To find they opened late today. Only had wings and fries. Ordered garlic Parmesan, sweet hot, and buffalo. Chicken cooked to perfection. Some of the selections were a little salty to me but overall the food is great and the staff is friendly. Will definitely make this a spot to visit in the future. You can rent out the whole place for a reasonable fee. Don’t sleep on this establishment. Did I mention it’s black owned.“

“Excellent anchovy toast, and the shrimp was succulent and flavorful. The veal meatballs were dry and not seasoned well. I highly recommend the lemoncello tiramisu. It was moist, light and refreshing. Excellent spot for dinner and drinks with friends or a date.“

“Great pinball bar!! The selection of pinball games is excellent. Bartender was a little to boisterous, but still nice. We went on a Saturday night, it was dead... let me tell you why. Karaoke, and it was HORRIBLE. Not that having karaoke is horrible, it's the few people that were there that couldn't sing. You could tell it was a few regulars and that's what is keeping more people from coming. We left because it was so bad. Will definitely be back though when no karaoke is going on“
