“I took a motorcycle ride out to this place and had a great experience. They had a live band, The Portholes, playing excellent cover songs from the '70s—songs I hadn't heard in years and had almost forgotten about. I ordered the Boathouse Special Burger and the Jerk Tacos, and both were outstanding.
Even though they appeared to be short-staffed, the service was excellent. The atmosphere was fun, festive, and welcoming. Whether you're looking for a destination for a group ride or just a place to stop on your own, this is definitely worth the trip. Highly recommended.“

“Love this place. Really good balance of every day yummy food or fancy steak or salmon. Meets the wide needs of my family. Wife can have a decadent lobster bisque and a salmon filet while my daughter can grab a burger and fries. And the lobster rangoon are so amazing I sometimes just stop and get those to go! And that strawberry pepper jelly. Oh my goodness so good!“

“I walked into a classy interior and sat at the bar. I was welcomed there by the owner and he made me feel like a king. I had some fine tequila and ordered the duck. Both were fantastic. “We had our son and daughter in law’s rehearsal dinner at Mellow Mushroom and boy, did we choose a great place! They had us all set up for 25 people beautifully when we arrived and was quickly introduced to our amazing server, Katie. Between her and her crew of helpers (for lack of a better word), we were taken care of so well. Tara, the bartender also tended to us with quick and excellent service. The general manager Ahmad checked on us several times to be sure we were happy and everyone was taken care of. Food and drinks were quickly and deliciously served and enjoyed. The atmosphere is so fun and upbeat. I don’t think we had one problem (except us being 7 minutes late - so sorry about that!!). We go to Mellow Mushroom as a couple and a family and now we can add as a wedding party and extended family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!“

“I had lunch at Halftime yesterday and the food was wonderful. The special of the day was a Smashburger, homemade chips and a salad. I also shared some southwest chicken rolls as an appetizer. The southwest chicken rolls are always great, but I really loved the Smashburger and homemade chips. The chips had a really tasty seasoning on them. Apparently, this meal was a special only and not on the everyday menu, but it should be. Everything was delicious and our server was great.“

“Sundays special is the fried chicken which is delicious when you can get it, the last fiveoutings for Sunday chicken I was only able to get it once, it seems to be a popular dish I would think they would have more on hand“

“I have been here countless times and they've never been open. Today, for a change, they were open and I was waiting here for an hour for a colleague on a delayed flight.

It's a simple bar and they do have a kitchen. We had a round of beers. Expensive beers. I don't quite understand how a tin of local beer is this costly. I could understand it if the place was on the other side of security, but Missouri Vineyards is groundside next to the ticket counters.

Oh, and they only accept credit cards for payment. The bartender who served us was nice. She does accept cash for tips.“

“Very nice lunch experience. Half salads were huge for being half a salad. Spouse had the mediterranean salad with balsamic and I had the Charlotte (walnuts, blue cheese with fresh fruit and a delicious raspberry vinaigrette). Absolutely delicious. Reuben sandwich that we split was tasty and substantial. Derek did a great job at lunch. We would return based on his service and our food.“

“In town for a tournament for my daughter's hockey team and had a smashburger and a cold beer and let me tell you it was awesome! It is kind of pricey but you are paying for convenience. I don't mind paying extra money for quality food It was great“

“This hotel has a lot going for it. The location is excellent, and the amenities really stand out. The outdoor pool is huge, with food and beverage service available, making it a great place to relax. There’s also a basketball court, and the breakfast offers a nice variety to start the day.

The biggest downside is that the rooms are showing their age and could use an update. Also, if you’re staying during the summer, try to avoid a west-facing room. They tend to get very warm in the afternoon and evening, which can make the room less comfortable despite the air conditioning.

Overall, it’s a solid place to stay if you value location and amenities over modern rooms.“

“Very good Taco Tuesday special. Place looked nice, definitely not dirty with newer furnishings. I could imagine that during an evening with music it might get crowded and look dirty. It was not crowded on a Tuesday lunch. I can recommend the taco special and tater tots and look forward to going back to try the Burger special.“

“Pleasantly surprised. Had nothing to go on except other reviews here. Ordered the arch burger and a bottled beer. Got what I asked for, took a while to get it, but that's only because the kitchen and restaurant are a bit of a walk away from each other. The bar seats were full, which is typical for a hotel. Everyone else seemed content. Nothing wrong with the food at all.“
