great food and great atmosphere.
BLT was outstanding! Staff is very friendly!
Small town country bar/diner. Stopped for a Coke, it was cold. Big shady patio, it was 94 degrees, my friends had a puppy and it’s not aloud on patio. Seems odd… Dog Prairie

Dog Prairie Tavern is a hidden gem with indoor and outdoor seating, live music, and sand volleyball. This welcoming establishment has reasonable pricing, making it perfect for enjoying their famous Fish Fry during Lent. The options of catfish, cod, and shrimp are all amazing, served with delicious hushpuppies and sides. The staff is friendly and attentive, and while there may be a wait due to large crowds, the atmosphere is perfect for a good time. It is a small local place that attracts customers of all ages, especially during live music events. The bartenders are willing to work with guests to find the right drink and offer helpful suggestions. The decor adds to the charm of this dive bar, making it a fun spot that keeps customers coming back. Although the bathrooms are small, overall, Dog Prairie Tavern is worth the stop, especially in the summertime when the sand volleyball courts are busy.
