“food was okay nothing special but we wont go back. 51.00 for 4 people burger & fries with 2 drinks. we waited at least 20 minutes & when I checked the bag, I asked Where are the cheese curds And they said they weren't on the order but i definitely ordered them so they said Do you want us to drop some in But as much as I spent , and as long as I waited , they wanted me to pay for those too , and I said , no , just forget it.“

“Wow!! Omg! Hats off to the chef and the wonderfully kind and attentive staff. Their pasta was al dente and so lusciously creamy. Their pork porterhouse...thick and cooked perfectly with an amazing seasoned sauce. Those accompanying carrots with their sweet glaze...out of this world. The meatball appetizer was seasoned so well and accompanied with a crisp delicious beer bread. My Manhattan...perfect, strong. Dessert was huge (caramel bacon brownie) and that caramel was sinful. So glad we discovered this gem. Try them out!!! You will not regret it. Thank you so much Lori, Devin and Hannah... and we will be back.“

“We had our son and daughter in law’s rehearsal dinner at Mellow Mushroom and boy, did we choose a great place! They had us all set up for 25 people beautifully when we arrived and was quickly introduced to our amazing server, Katie. Between her and her crew of helpers (for lack of a better word), we were taken care of so well. Tara, the bartender also tended to us with quick and excellent service. The general manager Ahmad checked on us several times to be sure we were happy and everyone was taken care of. Food and drinks were quickly and deliciously served and enjoyed. The atmosphere is so fun and upbeat. I don’t think we had one problem (except us being 7 minutes late - so sorry about that!!). We go to Mellow Mushroom as a couple and a family and now we can add as a wedding party and extended family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!“

“First time visiting JJ’s stopping in for a late lunch. All the staff were super friendly. Food all was hot and tasty. Large portions that we needed to bring half of it home. Prices very reasonable. Very nice diner atmosphere with plenty of old photos and memorabilia on the walls.“

“Cute little restaurant and bar. Met a friend for lunch. I ordered the BLC Salad. They mix the ranch dressing into the salad which was a nice plus. The salad was huge which was another huge plus. I like when the sliced egg and chicken are warm when the rest of the salad ingredients are cold. Fresh ingredients and very flavorful. The vibe of this restaurant felt like a neighborhood bar like Cheers. Very good service.“

“I had lunch at Halftime yesterday and the food was wonderful. The special of the day was a Smashburger, homemade chips and a salad. I also shared some southwest chicken rolls as an appetizer. The southwest chicken rolls are always great, but I really loved the Smashburger and homemade chips. The chips had a really tasty seasoning on them. Apparently, this meal was a special only and not on the everyday menu, but it should be. Everything was delicious and our server was great.“

“This is the most favorite roast beef sandwich of our whole family. We are there so often the friendly staff knows our names. When our younger son and his family fly in from California, their first stop after leaving the airport is Lions Choice. We have their “ Bon Voyage” at Lions choice right before they fly back to California. We love this place. Always friendly. Always fast. Always delicious! Always a winner!“

Dietary restrictions: Their Sunday buffet allows you to choose foods to meet your dietary restrictions, but I didn't see any specific accommodations being made otherwise. For example, no gluten-free waffles or Danish were offered.“

“We had a 6 top on Friday April 17 at 6pm in Royal Oak. Danielle was our server, she was nice, polite and quick. The 1 appetizer for another couple came with their dinner. 4 of the six people got their meals. About 5 mins later our 2 burgers came. Both prepared wrong (order was 1 burger as is on menu, 1 burger with only pickles). Both were sent back. Waitress came over, realized we didn't have our meal, apologized. 5 mins later a manager came over and said our meal would be out soon. As our friends were just about finished with their meals, our burgers finally came, about 15 mins too late. Burgers were fine. Nothing to brag about, I ate half because I had lost my appetite. When the bill came, nothing was comped or reduced in price. My husband paid the bill and I was pretty PO'ed at him that he actually paid it without asking for some sort of discount. The steak ordered by a friend was super salty, and the chicken on the salad was dry. I know they have kinks to work out, but the place and food isn't really much to brag about.“

“Had our retiree group out last Thursday, March 12th. We get together every month or so and I try to find different places to go. Some places want to charge us for space for us to patronize their establishment, absolutely refuse that option. Anyway I called Bret up a month in advance and let him know we'd be coming. I never know how many people will attend, usually 30-40 of us show up. Bret said no problem, they'd love to have us. I confirmed a week in advance and we were set. Well Thursday came around and I could tell by the group that had already shown up that it was gonna be a bigger group than what I told them. I went in and told that to Bret, no problem he said. We ended up with 55-60 of us old farts and we had Ashley as our server.
What a great time we had, the drinks were coming, the food was hot and delicious with tons of choicesavailable. What a great experience we all had, which was conveyed to me in text messages after we left.

I called ahead and asked the staff if they could help me surprise my wife for our anniversary dinner. All I told them was, “I’m planning to bring my wife here for our first time to celebrate our 3-year anniversary. Please help me make it a memorable experience for her. She doesn’t know about this.” From that moment on, the staff went above and beyond for us. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. They spent time with me on the phone suggesting ideas and helping plan the entire evening. As soon as we walked through the front doors, we were greeted with warm smiles and escorted to our table. While my wife was admiring the beautiful and cozy atmosphere, the staff gave me the reassuring “we got you” signal, allowing me to sit back, relax, and enjoy the night with her. The evening turned out even better than I expected. Every moment left my wife amazed, and she had a smile on her face the entire night. Thank you to all of the amazing staff members for making our anniversary so special. We officially found our new favorite place for dinner dates. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone. Oliver our server was very attentive & super polite even though we came in late. They were shortstaffed, but Tammy the manager quickly seated us & made sure we.had everything we needed. Went for a quick lunch. The salad bar was fully stocked and overall delicious. The mushrooms did not look fresh and appeared to be from the previous night. My wife ordered a New York Strip and was thoroughly disappointed. The steak was not very tender and had very little seasoning or flavor. The service was pleasant as always, and we appreciated the attentiveness of the server.“

“I have been to the restaurant a couple of times and had good experiences. I have even ordered food on UberEats and it was good until today. I ordered the prime sandwich and it is always awesome! The side however was ridiculous. French fries do not travel well and the other sides didn’t sound good so I got the fruit. It was a half of a strawberry, 2 pitiful pieces of pineapple, a blackberry and an orange slice cut up. It was child size portion. I called because I thought it was a mistake. I talked to the GM and he agreed that it was small but that’s the right size because he packed it up. I was shocked that was acceptable to them. I recommend the sandwich, just don’t get the side of fruit.“
