“We had our son and daughter in law’s rehearsal dinner at Mellow Mushroom and boy, did we choose a great place! They had us all set up for 25 people beautifully when we arrived and was quickly introduced to our amazing server, Katie. Between her and her crew of helpers (for lack of a better word), we were taken care of so well. Tara, the bartender also tended to us with quick and excellent service. The general manager Ahmad checked on us several times to be sure we were happy and everyone was taken care of. Food and drinks were quickly and deliciously served and enjoyed. The atmosphere is so fun and upbeat. I don’t think we had one problem (except us being 7 minutes late - so sorry about that!!). We go to Mellow Mushroom as a couple and a family and now we can add as a wedding party and extended family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!“

“We go to Yellowstone Cafe every time we are passing through St. Louis. The Walleye fish dinner is their speciality but all their fish dinners are excellent. In our party our order consisted of Crabcakes, Frog legs, and of course the Walleye.
Three nights a week they offer a kids special platter for 99 cents! What a bonus for parents. Their French fries are very good! The Green Goddess dressing is excellent on their house salad.
The atmosphere is casual, so come as you are.“

I called ahead and asked the staff if they could help me surprise my wife for our anniversary dinner. All I told them was, “I’m planning to bring my wife here for our first time to celebrate our 3-year anniversary. Please help me make it a memorable experience for her. She doesn’t know about this.” From that moment on, the staff went above and beyond for us. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. They spent time with me on the phone suggesting ideas and helping plan the entire evening. As soon as we walked through the front doors, we were greeted with warm smiles and escorted to our table. While my wife was admiring the beautiful and cozy atmosphere, the staff gave me the reassuring “we got you” signal, allowing me to sit back, relax, and enjoy the night with her. The evening turned out even better than I expected. Every moment left my wife amazed, and she had a smile on her face the entire night. Thank you to all of the amazing staff members for making our anniversary so special. We officially found our new favorite place for dinner dates. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone. “I had lunch at Halftime yesterday and the food was wonderful. The special of the day was a Smashburger, homemade chips and a salad. I also shared some southwest chicken rolls as an appetizer. The southwest chicken rolls are always great, but I really loved the Smashburger and homemade chips. The chips had a really tasty seasoning on them. Apparently, this meal was a special only and not on the everyday menu, but it should be. Everything was delicious and our server was great.“

“I belong to a group that is Dudes, Dining & Destinations, and we kind of ambushed this place, Mad Dog and Cats Steak today, sunday August 9th 2026. We had about 25/30 of us. The 2 waitresses we had, Mel B and Kara B were awesome. I had the French Onion Soup and Patty Melt and my friend had the side salad with a beef brisket sandwich. They both came out in a timely manner, was very tasteful and plentiful, even took left overs home even. If you find yourself out in st Charles area sometime , stop by and check them out. Cool little place.“

“This is the most favorite roast beef sandwich of our whole family. We are there so often the friendly staff knows our names. When our younger son and his family fly in from California, their first stop after leaving the airport is Lions Choice. We have their “ Bon Voyage” at Lions choice right before they fly back to California. We love this place. Always friendly. Always fast. Always delicious! Always a winner!“

“I enjoy their Sunday brunch. It's open to the public. Great atmosphere and service. The views over the golf course are very pretty. They do take reservations.

Parking: On a busy Sunday, it can be difficult to find a parking space.

Dietary restrictions: Their Sunday buffet allows you to choose foods to meet your dietary restrictions, but I didn't see any specific accommodations being made otherwise. For example, no gluten-free waffles or Danish were offered.“

The service was wonderful. One of the best duck breast dishes I ever had. Hats off to Westchester for a positive experience“

“We had a 6 top on Friday April 17 at 6pm in Royal Oak. Danielle was our server, she was nice, polite and quick. The 1 appetizer for another couple came with their dinner. 4 of the six people got their meals. About 5 mins later our 2 burgers came. Both prepared wrong (order was 1 burger as is on menu, 1 burger with only pickles). Both were sent back. Waitress came over, realized we didn't have our meal, apologized. 5 mins later a manager came over and said our meal would be out soon. As our friends were just about finished with their meals, our burgers finally came, about 15 mins too late. Burgers were fine. Nothing to brag about, I ate half because I had lost my appetite. When the bill came, nothing was comped or reduced in price. My husband paid the bill and I was pretty PO'ed at him that he actually paid it without asking for some sort of discount. The steak ordered by a friend was super salty, and the chicken on the salad was dry. I know they have kinks to work out, but the place and food isn't really much to brag about.“
