“I held a seminar event on a Tuesday evening and Chrissy was a terrific planning resource for me from concept to implementation. Communication was excellent. Upon arrival the room was ready, the staff was all very pleasant and welcoming. Jordan took care of us during the event and was always there when we needed her. The food was incredible. She even helped me by boxing up leftover brownies and cookies for the attendees to take home so I wouldn't have to! I will be back again for date nights and more seminar events!“

“We had our son and daughter in law’s rehearsal dinner at Mellow Mushroom and boy, did we choose a great place! They had us all set up for 25 people beautifully when we arrived and was quickly introduced to our amazing server, Katie. Between her and her crew of helpers (for lack of a better word), we were taken care of so well. Tara, the bartender also tended to us with quick and excellent service. The general manager Ahmad checked on us several times to be sure we were happy and everyone was taken care of. Food and drinks were quickly and deliciously served and enjoyed. The atmosphere is so fun and upbeat. I don’t think we had one problem (except us being 7 minutes late - so sorry about that!!). We go to Mellow Mushroom as a couple and a family and now we can add as a wedding party and extended family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!“

“I walked into a classy interior and sat at the bar. I was welcomed there by the owner and he made me feel like a king. I had some fine tequila and ordered the duck. Both were fantastic. The service was wonderful. One of the best duck breast dishes I ever had. Hats off to Westchester for a positive experience“

The owners grew up in the restaurant business and are the niece and nephew of Al Baker, the famous Clayton restaurateur from 1960's-1994. They get amazing specials in like Chilean Sea Bass and south African lobster tails. Fair prices too.......

“Food was good, service was good. Music was really loud and not what I consider relaxing dinner music. I decided I wanted a piece of cheesecake to go after she gave us the receipt in the folder and she never came back for me to tell her. I asked another server who directed me to the bar. Ordered and it took ten minutes to get it. Normally I wouldn’t mind but we had my MIL with us in her wheelchair. It came and was the Tiniest piece of cheesecake I’ve ever been served for $10 😳. I would recommend skipping dessert and go buy a whole cheesecake at Dierbergs next door for the same price and less wait.“

“Was there today at the OFallon MO location, as we hosted a Baby Shower in their event room. We had the BEST servers Chloe and Alexis! We had 30 guest plus or minus and they kept ever single glass full, kept checking in on everyone making sure they didn't need anything else, and were extremely polite and personable! The Manager was great to work with as well allowing us to get there at 10:30 to set up and make sure everything was ready for our shower starting. The food was sooo tasty and fresh! The guest of honor has lots of food allergies and with the catering menu and help of servers and manager, we were able to provide her a full meal of items she could eat with her allergies! There were so many compliments on the food from all the guest as well. We can't thank our staff we encountered and our servers Chloe and Alexis enough for going above and beyond for event. Definitely will be back and continue to use this location for future gatherings! Thank you again!!“

“Sundays special is the fried chicken which is delicious when you can get it, the last fiveoutings for Sunday chicken I was only able to get it once, it seems to be a popular dish I would think they would have more on hand“

“I had lunch at Halftime yesterday and the food was wonderful. The special of the day was a Smashburger, homemade chips and a salad. I also shared some southwest chicken rolls as an appetizer. The southwest chicken rolls are always great, but I really loved the Smashburger and homemade chips. The chips had a really tasty seasoning on them. Apparently, this meal was a special only and not on the everyday menu, but it should be. Everything was delicious and our server was great.“

“We were in town for college visits, back to school shopping, and a Savanna Bananas game. We wanted something near shopping and food so our options were all over the place in terms of hotels.

Technically we haven’t completed our stay but we are more than halfway through it and I am blown away. I almost didn’t book this hotel because of some recent reviews. I had my options down to a handful of places between here and Clayton. I left it up to fate and had my kids choose without giving them any background. Of course they loved the pictures of the pool at the DoubleTree and that was more than likely what “sold” them.

Leading up to arrival I was nervous about the conditions of the rooms (we booked adjoining), customer service, and cleanliness.
Upon arrival, my kids were already blown away by the lobby. Clean, updated, and welcoming. We didn’t stop at the front desk because we did online check in but we received a smile and a “welcome” from the front desk.
We arrived in our two rooms and the kids immediately began claiming their bed/spaces. Although I understand “dated” was the term most used in several reviews, this was not what I pictured. Maybe the furniture isn’t the style that many places have right now but the condition does not reflect “old” imo. I feel like both rooms were tasteful, clean, and had great space. That’s really what I’m looking for in a room.
I love that they have drawers and a large closet/cabinet for unloading luggage. There’s a desk with chair and reading chair in both rooms. There’s a mini fridge (enough for prob a 24pk of beverages), vertical mirror (you’d be surprised at how many hotels I’ve been to this year that don’t have one), wet bar, and more. I love that the toilet is separate from the sink.
The beds are comfortable and everyone in the family seems to be sleeping great!

We enjoyed food last night in the lounge area too! Amber took care of us and made great recommendations. We had the Loaded tots, wings, and braised beef short rib. I told my husband if this hotel didn’t already impress me as much as it did, I would come back just for the Braised Beef Short rib. It was the most tender, most flavorful meal I’ve had in a long time. Such a great recommendation. The staff was so friendly in the lounge area! We had a great evening.
We toured the grounds after dinner last night. This place just keeps going. Pools, a HUGE fitness area, pickleball, tennis, and soooo much more. I’m not even sure we saw everything we could.
I highly recommend this hotel. Absolutely the best of everything here. Staff, conditions, views, location (we loved being right by Top Golf), cleanliness, and comfort.
We will definitely be back.“

“I had three bad experiences at global quesadilla on 141 and Clayton The first time I went in there they told me they don't accept cash. the second time I went in I got a quesadilla, some chips, and queso. the queso tasted awful. it tasted like warmed up canned cheese or something. I'd buy at the gas station but not the hot stuff in the dispenser that tasted better. And to be honest, there's nothing special about the quesadillas for the ingredients that go into it, the amount of time it takes to make and what they're charging for it. I find it ridiculous. if it's not going to taste good it should be cheap. at that point I'd rather make them at home. my third bad experience is a as a doordasher. after confirming the name of my customer, I proceeded to include my business card. global quesadilla doesn't own that food. that food was paid for by my customer. they have no right to tell me I can't put a business card with the food. the employee proceeds to yell at me multiple times to hand the food back to which I responded no twice and started walking out of the store. he proceeded to follow me out of the store continuing to yell at me and I had to tell him multiple times to back up/go inside / leave me alone. and if he touched me there's going to be a problem I shouldn't be in fear for my physical safety going into any establishment. they were also rude and unprofessional the first day I went in trying to pay with cash. how they've handled themselves multiple times is completely unacceptable. there's a reason why I only ate the food once. if I want Mexican food I'll make it myself or go to Taco Bell or a sit-down Mexican restaurant.“

“I have been to the restaurant a couple of times and had good experiences. I have even ordered food on UberEats and it was good until today. I ordered the prime sandwich and it is always awesome! The side however was ridiculous. French fries do not travel well and the other sides didn’t sound good so I got the fruit. It was a half of a strawberry, 2 pitiful pieces of pineapple, a blackberry and an orange slice cut up. It was child size portion. I called because I thought it was a mistake. I talked to the GM and he agreed that it was small but that’s the right size because he packed it up. I was shocked that was acceptable to them. I recommend the sandwich, just don’t get the side of fruit.“
