Kid-friendliness: Sure to be a hit with the kids. Off the beaten path route 66 gem of a landmark with a ton of atmosphere and personality. It's living history.

“I do NOT recommend this restaurant. We have always loved Letty Lou’s and were disappointed when they closed after the fire. Today, we were finally able to step in to grab lunch for our family. While the server was kind and seated us quickly, after 15 minutes we left. We have two small children and ordered our food and drinks upon sitting down. After 15 minutes, we still had not received our drinks but watched our server take several other orders. There were three servers working and the restaurant was not full. I expected to wait awhile for food, but not for a glass of water.“

“I have referred people to Billy G's Chesterfield since they opened their restaurant. I've taken my mother in law there back in August 2023 for her birthday and had an amazing experience. Regrettably my experience last night when I took my husband wasn't as good. We arrived around 5pm on Sunday(5/26/23) and the restaurant was fairly empty aside for a few tables upfront and some in back. We were seated immediately and our waitress, Liana was VERY sweet and sociable(please make sure she gets a pat on the back for her service because SHE is the only reason our experience was semi decent). I ordered the club sandwich with fries and a Billys bloody mary and my husband ordered the beer battered cod and fries. Our food came out and it was fresh, here's where my complaints lie. Our food came out and looked delicious, however, I was left searching through my food to DIG OUT the toothpicks that the cook(s) had shoved all the way through my food, my bloody Mary was awful and had a side of essentially uncooked bacon in it. My husband's beer battered cod according to him was very watery and the water went all over his plate, and had ZERO flavor, the batter wasn't even crispy at all and not very good. He essentially ate a half piece out of 2 full pieces(quite honestly should of been more than 2 small piece for $20) and then just filled up on wet fries the entire time. Presentation wise the food looked good, taste wise however it did not meet the same standard as it did the first time I had it. I have no problems coming back but I won't be eager to try the fish & chips, the "house favorite" club or the Billy's bloody Mary again. I would fully understand if the restaurant was packed and super busy to recieve this kind of service with the food, but this just looked like someone in the back of house was just in a rush to get food out.“

“Let me just say that this was one of the best restaurants I have dined at in a long time. Our waitress Abbey was absolutely wonderful! She made sure that we had an appetizer ordered in time for the happy hour pricing and made sure we always had a beverage. The robust non-alcoholic cocktails offering is unmatched. The manager Josh even took time on a busy Friday night to come introduce himself when he found out my husband was excited about their non-alcoholic offering. Food was so delicious! “I walked into a classy interior and sat at the bar. I was welcomed there by the owner and he made me feel like a king. I had some fine tequila and ordered the duck. Both were fantastic. The service was wonderful. One of the best duck breast dishes I ever had. Hats off to Westchester for a positive experience“

“The Hay Market is within the Holiday Inn at Six Flags and is within a historical dairy barn that was converted many years ago...

Through out the years we have dined here off and on... on Thanksgiving Day they offered a holiday themed buffet... which was delicious...

Melissa was our waitress that day... she was attentive and stopped by to make sure we we not in need of anything... everyone was kind and wonderful...

Ordered the lava queso, mad love, jalapeño heatwave, and the smoke and pepper burger. All burgers were cooked exactly as we requested and all quickly arrived at our table.

The jalapeño heatwave was a disappointment with regard to heat (spiciness), pickled jalapeños are used rather than fresh; destroying the chance for the burger to have any semblance of spiciness.

The lava queso burger was a huge hit with one of our 10 year old granddaughters, they pour the sauce over the burger at the table.“

“The parking lot was full at 11am and I was a single person shopping and eating chicken and dumplings. There was a 20 minute wait but a two person table was soon available. Austin served me asap and lunch was soon delivered with a check back if I needed anything. Then I found many stocking stuffers and the cashier helped me find an extra candle. Perfect.“

And what an experience it was.  We got a table by the fireplace – and the view was beautiful, even on the gray winter day. The friendly staff guided us through the menu, which, bless their hearts, had something for everyone, even a gluten-free fella like myself.

I'll admit, I felt a pang of sadness when I saw those golden fries go by – a crispy, salty forbidden fruit. But they had more gluten-free options than most places I go to. And my burger? A masterpiece.  Juicy, cooked to perfection, is the kind of burger that makes you close your eyes and savor the moment. And their coleslaw was nothing that I'd seen before but delicious! My friend, equally delighted with their own plates, pulled pork sandwiches, and chicken salad on a fresh croissant, declared it a unanimous win. Oh, and let's not forget dessert -French beignets with the raspberry coulis.  My wife, a woman of discerning taste, declared the beignets transcendent. And the wine?   The real surprise was the Raisin Ranch –  my favorite choice.  My friend bought a bottle to pair with salmon.

Defiance Ridge, you've won me over.  This isn't just a winery; it's a destination. A place where the food is as captivating as the view, and the company is just as good as the wine. Consider this a standing reservation – I'll be back.“

“I recommend the fried pickles! This appetizer is one of my family’s favorites along with the brew bites. My family frequent the Pacific Brew Haus to enjoy dinner and cold beer. However, lately they have been out of the beer I drink. The last three out of four times we have been there they haven’t had the cider. I was told tonight that IPA replaced it? IPA and Cider are very different. Are you out of the cider and not getting it back? Please consider at least carrying the cider in a bottle if not on tap!
