“We go to Yellowstone Cafe every time we are passing through St. Louis. The Walleye fish dinner is their speciality but all their fish dinners are excellent. In our party our order consisted of Crabcakes, Frog legs, and of course the Walleye.
Three nights a week they offer a kids special platter for 99 cents! What a bonus for parents. Their French fries are very good! The Green Goddess dressing is excellent on their house salad.
The atmosphere is casual, so come as you are.“

They had also taken the zucchini appetizer off the menu. Everything I went there to order is not completely off the menu. And there isn't a suitable substitute. I hope you'll consider bringing those back.“

“I have been to the restaurant a couple of times and had good experiences. I have even ordered food on UberEats and it was good until today. I ordered the prime sandwich and it is always awesome! The side however was ridiculous. French fries do not travel well and the other sides didn’t sound good so I got the fruit. It was a half of a strawberry, 2 pitiful pieces of pineapple, a blackberry and an orange slice cut up. It was child size portion. I called because I thought it was a mistake. I talked to the GM and he agreed that it was small but that’s the right size because he packed it up. I was shocked that was acceptable to them. I recommend the sandwich, just don’t get the side of fruit.“

Pretty good too, just a bit overpriced for dinner. However, one kid’s meal per adult was free so that helped. They were out of the steak that was on sale so we paid for the other steak meal. It was good, but not great for the price.The service we received from all 3 waitresses (Kameron, Nancy, and a young blonde lady) was wonderful. They were all very kind and didn’t rush us. “This is genuinely such a cool and pretty affordable place. Before 6 and after 9 on weekdays, the beer wall is half off. Some of them are like less than 20 cents per oz. If it's busy, you have to seek out a server, but the food is great. Also, they have a rewards app that is pretty worthwhile. I also have the arcade membership. I think its like $11 a month for 40 games a day. And you can still get tickets. Most of the staff are really friendly. I've had very few bad experiences and have been here many times. My only complaint would be that they need cooler arcade prizes for adults. They used to have cooler stuff, but haven't in a while. Even just like a shot glass set, or a drinking board game, or chocolate candy instead of just sugar gummy candy. Parking is always easy and free though, which is nice. You can have a big group come. I do think they have spaces you can rent out for a party, but if you're fine hanging out in the open, it's a free place to host.“
