“We go to Yellowstone Cafe every time we are passing through St. Louis. The Walleye fish dinner is their speciality but all their fish dinners are excellent. In our party our order consisted of Crabcakes, Frog legs, and of course the Walleye.
Three nights a week they offer a kids special platter for 99 cents! What a bonus for parents. Their French fries are very good! The Green Goddess dressing is excellent on their house salad.
The atmosphere is casual, so come as you are.“

“I had three bad experiences at global quesadilla on 141 and Clayton The first time I went in there they told me they don't accept cash. the second time I went in I got a quesadilla, some chips, and queso. the queso tasted awful. it tasted like warmed up canned cheese or something. I'd buy at the gas station but not the hot stuff in the dispenser that tasted better. And to be honest, there's nothing special about the quesadillas for the ingredients that go into it, the amount of time it takes to make and what they're charging for it. I find it ridiculous. if it's not going to taste good it should be cheap. at that point I'd rather make them at home. my third bad experience is a as a doordasher. after confirming the name of my customer, I proceeded to include my business card. global quesadilla doesn't own that food. that food was paid for by my customer. they have no right to tell me I can't put a business card with the food. the employee proceeds to yell at me multiple times to hand the food back to which I responded no twice and started walking out of the store. he proceeded to follow me out of the store continuing to yell at me and I had to tell him multiple times to back up/go inside / leave me alone. and if he touched me there's going to be a problem I shouldn't be in fear for my physical safety going into any establishment. they were also rude and unprofessional the first day I went in trying to pay with cash. how they've handled themselves multiple times is completely unacceptable. there's a reason why I only ate the food once. if I want Mexican food I'll make it myself or go to Taco Bell or a sit-down Mexican restaurant.“

“I have been to the restaurant a couple of times and had good experiences. I have even ordered food on UberEats and it was good until today. I ordered the prime sandwich and it is always awesome! The side however was ridiculous. French fries do not travel well and the other sides didn’t sound good so I got the fruit. It was a half of a strawberry, 2 pitiful pieces of pineapple, a blackberry and an orange slice cut up. It was child size portion. I called because I thought it was a mistake. I talked to the GM and he agreed that it was small but that’s the right size because he packed it up. I was shocked that was acceptable to them. I recommend the sandwich, just don’t get the side of fruit.“

“I love the healthy options. Something to satisfy a wide variety of tastes. Good size portions. We often take some leftovers home. The mother earth bowl and forbidden rice are stellar. Just add a protein if you want more. I highly recommend the salmon. Our grand kids like the child options. The restaurant can be noisy inside so we usually eat outside on their patio or order ahead and pickup to go. The line to order may seem long but the food comes out fairly quickly. You can always use the app to order ahead and then eat there when you pick it up.“

When we walked in Josh was on it, made us feel we were “regulars”, like he new us personally and Stacey, the hostess that seated us, was equally as welcoming and we were seated promptly. I don’t believe we got our kind servers name, but the beautiful young lady was on it as well. The chefs/kitchen were on par as well, hubby had one of the eggs Benedict with a side of biscuit and gravy, I had the Ranchers beef salad, one of the best beef and blue cheese salads I’ve EVER had, and believe me, I’ve had a “few” 😋🤫😊 Hubs also loved the huge coffee mugs his coffee and my Kahluah/hot chocolate(yum on this damp chilly day)were served in…this where my only complaint would be, my mug was chipped along the rim 😅 All that said, it was just a fantastic way to start our Sunday. The Food - I'm not sure what you're expecting but if its fresh made and repeatably good hot dogs, burgers, sandwiches and fries at fast food prices, then quit reading and just go now. It's not gonna change how you look at food but you'll be happy every time.

The staff - As good as the food is, the staff is probably better. When I go (Saturdays) theres normally a pair of guys I see regularly working the window and grilling. Frankly they could tell me they have a band and this is thier side hustle and I'd believe it, and go catch a show. But damn if they aren't two of the nicest people I've encountered any retail establishment, let alone a service one. Like legitimately pleasant interactions, which in the current day in age is pretty rare.

All that to say, if you aren't going here, you should be. It's exactly what a throw back should be. You won't be disappointed.“

“My company, MARIS, held a dinner four our retiring CEO on Friday evening and it was absolutely wonderful! I worked with Jade in planning the event and she was very responsive and helpful. “It is a relaxed environment. Always fast courteous and friendly service. The only thing that I did not like the last time that I was there was the fact that I could not find a way on the get up and go paying system to change the amount that I had entered for the tip. It is possible that I missed it. I did look repeatedly and did not see a way to go back and change the amount of tip that I entered without totally backing out of the program and going back in. I just figured a dollar was not worth the stress. All I wanted to do was add $1.00 to the tip amount. Oh well.“

“waited 15 minutes after being seated while wait staff just ignored us. we finally asked the hostess if we could place our order. a waiter came out finally, no apology for our wait. we placed.our order the he never came back. we waited 15 minutes after ordering and never got our beverages. it wasn't super crowded, only the patio was full. it's a shame because they do have good food but I will not be returning. Do not recommend if you ever want to eat. I have never walked out of a restaurant like that in my 42 years. it was terrible“
