“I have been to the restaurant a couple of times and had good experiences. I have even ordered food on UberEats and it was good until today. I ordered the prime sandwich and it is always awesome! The side however was ridiculous. French fries do not travel well and the other sides didn’t sound good so I got the fruit. It was a half of a strawberry, 2 pitiful pieces of pineapple, a blackberry and an orange slice cut up. It was child size portion. I called because I thought it was a mistake. I talked to the GM and he agreed that it was small but that’s the right size because he packed it up. I was shocked that was acceptable to them. I recommend the sandwich, just don’t get the side of fruit.“

“I had three bad experiences at global quesadilla on 141 and Clayton The first time I went in there they told me they don't accept cash. the second time I went in I got a quesadilla, some chips, and queso. the queso tasted awful. it tasted like warmed up canned cheese or something. I'd buy at the gas station but not the hot stuff in the dispenser that tasted better. And to be honest, there's nothing special about the quesadillas for the ingredients that go into it, the amount of time it takes to make and what they're charging for it. I find it ridiculous. if it's not going to taste good it should be cheap. at that point I'd rather make them at home. my third bad experience is a as a doordasher. after confirming the name of my customer, I proceeded to include my business card. global quesadilla doesn't own that food. that food was paid for by my customer. they have no right to tell me I can't put a business card with the food. the employee proceeds to yell at me multiple times to hand the food back to which I responded no twice and started walking out of the store. he proceeded to follow me out of the store continuing to yell at me and I had to tell him multiple times to back up/go inside / leave me alone. and if he touched me there's going to be a problem I shouldn't be in fear for my physical safety going into any establishment. they were also rude and unprofessional the first day I went in trying to pay with cash. how they've handled themselves multiple times is completely unacceptable. there's a reason why I only ate the food once. if I want Mexican food I'll make it myself or go to Taco Bell or a sit-down Mexican restaurant.“

I have sat barside as much as I have at a table. I prefer the bar unless I am with a small group or.on a date night.
Not very much seating, so you shoukd make a reservation. Tight quarters.“

When we walked in Josh was on it, made us feel we were “regulars”, like he new us personally and Stacey, the hostess that seated us, was equally as welcoming and we were seated promptly. I don’t believe we got our kind servers name, but the beautiful young lady was on it as well. The chefs/kitchen were on par as well, hubby had one of the eggs Benedict with a side of biscuit and gravy, I had the Ranchers beef salad, one of the best beef and blue cheese salads I’ve EVER had, and believe me, I’ve had a “few” 😋🤫😊 Hubs also loved the huge coffee mugs his coffee and my Kahluah/hot chocolate(yum on this damp chilly day)were served in…this where my only complaint would be, my mug was chipped along the rim 😅 All that said, it was just a fantastic way to start our Sunday. “The Crossing Restaurant did a remarkable job the other evening when we dined there. We had impeccable service and outstanding food. I loved being able to do the four course meal with some of the specials. It was wonderful to see the dining room full in this well-established restaurant in the heart of Clayton. I remember being wowwed when I first dined at The Crossing 25 years ago and it is still just as fabulous! We cannot wait to return.“

“While I'll still recommend it...I did go to the Twin Oaks location tonight and they had taken the adult grilled cheese with tomato soup off the menu. 😢😢😢 I just had it there a few weeks ago. They had also taken the zucchini appetizer off the menu. Everything I went there to order is not completely off the menu. And there isn't a suitable substitute. I hope you'll consider bringing those back.“

Spouse had the mediterranean salad with balsamic and I had the Charlotte (walnuts, blue cheese with fresh fruit and a delicious raspberry vinaigrette). Absolutely delicious. “So, my wife and I just about ruined the weekend on our way to Nordstrom trying to decide on a place to eat. We arrived at the store still undecided and noticed the Cafe Bistro. We checked out the menu and wandered in. Great food! I had the crab macaroni & cheese - nice sized portion and some real crab chunks, not mush out of a can. It came with an arugula salad on the side. Equally delish. My wife had half of an warm Asian glazed chicken salad - I couldn't imagine the size of a full!! The quality of the food was top notch and the price was reasonable. I don't come to this store often, but I'll find an excuse to come next time!!“

“I have been here countless times and they've never been open. Today, for a change, they were open and I was waiting here for an hour for a colleague on a delayed flight.

It's a simple bar and they do have a kitchen. We had a round of beers. Expensive beers. I don't quite understand how a tin of local beer is this costly. I could understand it if the place was on the other side of security, but Missouri Vineyards is groundside next to the ticket counters.

Oh, and they only accept credit cards for payment. The bartender who served us was nice. She does accept cash for tips.“

“We were in town for college visits, back to school shopping, and a Savanna Bananas game. We wanted something near shopping and food so our options were all over the place in terms of hotels.

Technically we haven’t completed our stay but we are more than halfway through it and I am blown away. I almost didn’t book this hotel because of some recent reviews. I had my options down to a handful of places between here and Clayton. I left it up to fate and had my kids choose without giving them any background. Of course they loved the pictures of the pool at the DoubleTree and that was more than likely what “sold” them.

Leading up to arrival I was nervous about the conditions of the rooms (we booked adjoining), customer service, and cleanliness.
Upon arrival, my kids were already blown away by the lobby. Clean, updated, and welcoming. We didn’t stop at the front desk because we did online check in but we received a smile and a “welcome” from the front desk.
We arrived in our two rooms and the kids immediately began claiming their bed/spaces. Although I understand “dated” was the term most used in several reviews, this was not what I pictured. Maybe the furniture isn’t the style that many places have right now but the condition does not reflect “old” imo. I feel like both rooms were tasteful, clean, and had great space. That’s really what I’m looking for in a room.
I love that they have drawers and a large closet/cabinet for unloading luggage. There’s a desk with chair and reading chair in both rooms. There’s a mini fridge (enough for prob a 24pk of beverages), vertical mirror (you’d be surprised at how many hotels I’ve been to this year that don’t have one), wet bar, and more. I love that the toilet is separate from the sink.
The beds are comfortable and everyone in the family seems to be sleeping great!

We enjoyed food last night in the lounge area too! Amber took care of us and made great recommendations. We had the Loaded tots, wings, and braised beef short rib. I told my husband if this hotel didn’t already impress me as much as it did, I would come back just for the Braised Beef Short rib. It was the most tender, most flavorful meal I’ve had in a long time. Such a great recommendation. The staff was so friendly in the lounge area! We had a great evening.
We toured the grounds after dinner last night. This place just keeps going. Pools, a HUGE fitness area, pickleball, tennis, and soooo much more. I’m not even sure we saw everything we could.
I highly recommend this hotel. Absolutely the best of everything here. Staff, conditions, views, location (we loved being right by Top Golf), cleanliness, and comfort.
We will definitely be back.“

“Very good Taco Tuesday special. Place looked nice, definitely not dirty with newer furnishings. I could imagine that during an evening with music it might get crowded and look dirty. It was not crowded on a Tuesday lunch. I can recommend the taco special and tater tots and look forward to going back to try the Burger special.“

“Love Uncle Bill's. Great breakfast. Service seems to be slipping a bit recently. Not getting coffee refills, taking longer than it used to for oyr order, but nothing so bad that I won't go back. The omelets, french toast and options are great!“
