“I have been to the restaurant a couple of times and had good experiences. I have even ordered food on UberEats and it was good until today. I ordered the prime sandwich and it is always awesome! The side however was ridiculous. French fries do not travel well and the other sides didn’t sound good so I got the fruit. It was a half of a strawberry, 2 pitiful pieces of pineapple, a blackberry and an orange slice cut up. It was child size portion. I called because I thought it was a mistake. I talked to the GM and he agreed that it was small but that’s the right size because he packed it up. I was shocked that was acceptable to them. I recommend the sandwich, just don’t get the side of fruit.“

“The Crossing Restaurant did a remarkable job the other evening when we dined there. We had impeccable service and outstanding food. I loved being able to do the four course meal with some of the specials. It was wonderful to see the dining room full in this well-established restaurant in the heart of Clayton. I remember being wowwed when I first dined at The Crossing 25 years ago and it is still just as fabulous! We cannot wait to return.“

“I go to the Shack at least once a month. I was there recently and received excellent food and service. Jennifer was great server, nothing was too much trouble. She helped move all of our coats and bags in order to change our seats. She was cheerful and helpful. I bring my out-of-town guests here often. The menu includes healthy,creative, delicious entrees, and as well as gluten free options.“

“We stopped in yesterday for lunch at the recommendation of friends who live in the area. So glad we did—everything was delicious and customer service was top notch. The kids devoured a cheese pizza and my husband and I ordered a half Dr. Dre and half Tito Santana (seasonal). Both were amazing! We also split the peppercorn ranch salad—which, with its homemade dressing was also amazing. We’ll be back when we are in the area again!“

When we walked in Josh was on it, made us feel we were “regulars”, like he new us personally and Stacey, the hostess that seated us, was equally as welcoming and we were seated promptly. I don’t believe we got our kind servers name, but the beautiful young lady was on it as well. The chefs/kitchen were on par as well, hubby had one of the eggs Benedict with a side of biscuit and gravy, I had the Ranchers beef salad, one of the best beef and blue cheese salads I’ve EVER had, and believe me, I’ve had a “few” 😋🤫😊 Hubs also loved the huge coffee mugs his coffee and my Kahluah/hot chocolate(yum on this damp chilly day)were served in…this where my only complaint would be, my mug was chipped along the rim 😅 All that said, it was just a fantastic way to start our Sunday. “My first time in I had the scallops and they won me over. I have been a frequent diner ever since. That was three years ago and I have been impressed ever since. Great place to bring family and friends. Having a son with Celiac can be challenging to eat out yet Big Sky is always cautious and accommodating. Desserts are all homemade and phenomenal!“

The only thing that I did not like the last time that I was there was the fact that I could not find a way on the get up and go paying system to change the amount that I had entered for the tip. It is possible that I missed it. I did look repeatedly and did not see a way to go back and change the amount of tip that I entered without totally backing out of the program and going back in. I just figured a dollar was not worth the stress. All I wanted to do was add $1.00 to the tip amount. Oh well.“

“First time, WON'T be the last time! The burger is very tasty. The sweet potato fries are some of the best I've ever had. The regular fries were too salty (but that's easily fixed). The portions were enough for at least two meals. My suggestion would be to share the fries (such a big portion!)!!!“
