“I have been to the restaurant a couple of times and had good experiences. I have even ordered food on UberEats and it was good until today. I ordered the prime sandwich and it is always awesome! The side however was ridiculous. French fries do not travel well and the other sides didn’t sound good so I got the fruit. It was a half of a strawberry, 2 pitiful pieces of pineapple, a blackberry and an orange slice cut up. It was child size portion. I called because I thought it was a mistake. I talked to the GM and he agreed that it was small but that’s the right size because he packed it up. I was shocked that was acceptable to them. I recommend the sandwich, just don’t get the side of fruit.“

Always good food and service, can be a little wait sometimes for food and wish there were more gluten free and soy free options(reason for 4 stars for food) but overall it’s nice to go, lots of overall options for vegan food. You won’t be disappointed.

They’re slowly growing and adding more options when it comes to food, drinks, their house made vegan ranch is good also which I believe they still sell by the bottle but you’ll have to confirm with them.

She helped move all of our coats and bags in order to change our seats. She was cheerful and helpful. I bring my out-of-town guests here often. “Recently, I made a wrong turn on Manchester and pulled into a strip mall to turn around, ending up in front of this restaurant by happy accident. 😊 My daughter and I both love Middle Eastern food, so we decided to give it a try. We were unaware they were still 20 minutes from opening, but the owner graciously insisted on us staying and proceeded to make us a pot of cardamom tea while we waited for the grills to heat. He was so pleasant and attentive, and the food was absolutely fantastic! One of the best dining experiences we've had in St. Louis in quite some time! Highly recommend!“

“The food is absolutely delicious! The burgers are huge and delicious, and quite well cooked. The barbecue sauce was tangy and delicious with the Gateway Burger. I was looking forward to trying the onion rings, but ended up not having room after the burger!

Some reviews have mentioned the service - the servers are not overenthusiastic in their greetings as other restaurants, but the service is damn good. They have a very subtle style of attentiveness, not always asking if you need something but noticing when you do, keeping an eye on you. They check in at the exact points - when the food hits the table, after two bites, and when your plate is just about done. There were two servers today and they were both multitasking and on top of all their tables, and their demeanor just happens to be more casual comfort. Definitely wouldn’t dock them any service points. If you do tend to prefer more enthusiastic service, it might not be the best match, but theirs is still a service style that will get you what you need.

“City Coffee House & Creperie is a great place to escape, the vibe is that of a hidden cafe. The food is always great, I love their lemon curd crepe, opted for the waffle this time to celebrate National Pancake Day (a waffle is just a pancake with cups to hold the syrup I’ve been told). They were running a little behind and couldn't seat us at the time of our reservation (it wasn't even that long of a delay compared to other restaurants) so they gave us a free round of drinks, which was lovely. One note is that if you have anyone in your party with mobility issues who might have trouble sitting at a stool or high-top table, make sure to request one of the booth tables that have normal height chairs with backs.“
