“First time visit today (12apr2024), out of state visitors for the day (IL), happen to be in the area. Ordered togo: Chicken Shawarma plate Beef Kafka plate Chicken Shawarma Sandwich Humus with Chicken Shawarma 4 extra peta and 2 garlic sauce While waiting, the place had a nice feel, music, etc. After a small amount of time we were offered Coffee. To those that dont know with these style of coffee it can be bitter to the normal pallet. This is a mix of coffee and tea I believe was told at this location. My SO, which was their first time trying this, is not a fan. Having tried some out of state (MI) before, it was little better than I have have in the past. VERY Hot in temp, so you will want to let cool some. The ChkShawm sandwich was good, SO didnt like as much but I enjoyed it. We both enjoyed the rest of the order, so much that my SO over eat some and was hurting. It was tempting to do the same. The Chicken was very good and juicy, not dried out like once place we tried few months ago. Rice was very good, the one plate's rice might have needed just a bit more cook time as a very small amount was still a bit al dente. Glad we ordered the extra garlic sauce as it didnt come with any of the other plates. I didnt look or ask if that was normal, some places do, others dont and we end up emptying out any garlic sauce we get anyways from places like these.We always order extra garlic and petas. We dont get over to this area much and next chance may be in 6 month or a year from now but will have this marked s a fav to revisit when in the area again! Totally plan to order from here again without a doubt!“

“Interesting and charming Mediterranean restaurant in one of Manchester's many large shopping areas, right next to Dierbergs.

We came for a late lunch (2pm) and enjoyed the place to ourselves (besides one other couple). Service was amazing; Pranitha was the sweetest! We ordered two entrees. The servers surprised us by bringing out a small sample of three of their dips which were delicious. My favorite was the black bean dip — amazing.

We had both a Chicken Shawarma Sandwich and Beef Kofta Sandwich. We enjoyed both equally. Great flavors and tender meat. I wish they had more sauce on the sandwiches themselves, but the garlic sauce provided helped cut the dryness. The fries were crispy as well.

They have some unique and different options on their menu. I wish they had gyros. No frills, but a clean and quaint dining room. We would totally return, mostly due to the free appetizers and Pranitha’s service ;)“

“When I was traveling through St Louis, a friend introduced me to this place. The frozen custard is amazing and dare I say heavenly. So soft and creamy. It was a true treat. I love discovering and finding out about those wonderful neighborhood gems. I also liked that they had bench seats along one side of the parking lot underneath the trees for people to sit and contemplate the wonderfulness of life and Ted Dewes custard helps to get you into that space.“

“The Crossing Restaurant did a remarkable job the other evening when we dined there. We had impeccable service and outstanding food. I loved being able to do the four course meal with some of the specials. It was wonderful to see the dining room full in this well-established restaurant in the heart of Clayton. It was messy made the bun soggy and just all around gross. I was going to bring all my kidd back to eat and will NEVER EAR HERE AGAIN. “I go to the Shack at least once a month. I was there recently and received excellent food and service. Jennifer was great server, nothing was too much trouble. She helped move all of our coats and bags in order to change our seats. She was cheerful and helpful. I bring my out-of-town guests here often. The menu includes healthy,creative, delicious entrees, and as well as gluten free options.“

“We had a party of 6 on Saturday night. Great service. Outstanding food had by everyone. A few in the party ordered the Lasagna after they were out of Ossobuco. They loved the Lasagna, the Chicken Risotto was one of the best I ever had, although I modified it by adding mushrooms. We did start out with appetizers and the Roasted Wild Mushroom app and Toasted Ravoli were incredible. Highly recommend this place.“

“Recently, I made a wrong turn on Manchester and pulled into a strip mall to turn around, ending up in front of this restaurant by happy accident. 😊 My daughter and I both love Middle Eastern food, so we decided to give it a try. We were unaware they were still 20 minutes from opening, but the owner graciously insisted on us staying and proceeded to make us a pot of cardamom tea while we waited for the grills to heat. He was so pleasant and attentive, and the food was absolutely fantastic! One of the best dining experiences we've had in St. Louis in quite some time! Highly recommend!“

“I am pleased with my experience at Wasabi. Jae was my server, she was on it. It was Wednesday night, she was by herself but she was perfect. Seriously. My only comment is that the miso tasted weird? They had mushrooms in it which I usually like, so not quite sure what it was. It tasted like it was made with heavy mineral water. Everything else was phenomenal. The edamame was perfectly cooked. The poke bowl portion was great, each ingredient well balanced. The crazy roll was refreshing and very well done. All of the fish was very fresh. Parking is okay, there's a parking garage near by.“

The only thing that I did not like the last time that I was there was the fact that I could not find a way on the get up and go paying system to change the amount that I had entered for the tip. It is possible that I missed it. I did look repeatedly and did not see a way to go back and change the amount of tip that I entered without totally backing out of the program and going back in. “Our waitress was friendly but a bit overworked. The Italian Wedding soup was horrible. No flavor, no Italian sausage and full of barley. The roast beef sandwich was good but had wilted greens on it and we didn’t like that. The ham and cheese sandwich was good. The atmosphere was a bit noisy.“

I couldn't wait to get to this place. 5 Star Burgers - Clayton Last time i had the Bison burger and it has been in my memory ever since. I understand this location also won the best burger award last month. Think they might be in line for another one. Today i got the 5 Star Burger, Fries N Shake. They put a toasted marshmallow in the shake. I never had a toasted marshmallow before so that was a very nice addition and gave them some points on the wow factor. The burger is presented as what i would call a craft burger. The fries we salted nice and came straight out of the grease to my table. I do wish there was more shake but i find any reason to take points off for that. Liz was so wonderful, customer service was above and beyond!!!! Cant wait to get back here...
