“I go to PB for soup.
Some time they fill full bowl, sometime almost half.
My friend had chicken soup but only 3 pics of 1/2inch cubes.
Manager always corrects it.
Suggest following :
1. Train and test your people regularly.
2. Use video at serving station for manager to see whenever...
3.for chicken, let us know how many cubes to expect in a large bowl or a cup.
PB is outstanding organization.They certainly don't want to shortcut on details.
Manag3nt has work cut out to address above problems.

“I absolutely adore this place, and I’m completely shocked something like this exists in the St. Louis area! I had the vegan croissant and it was extremely delicious, very close to the vegan croissants I’ve had in France. I also got the cheesecake and it was absolutely amazing. It didn’t have any of the weird flavors some vegan cheesecakes have, and probably tasted closer to dairy cheesecake. I also had some macarons, but they seemed like they were a little older. There weren’t many in the case during my visit, and I saw a photo from someone else a few days after my visit that showed a full case, so I could only surmise they were less fresh. The flavors were good, but they were a little hard. Overall, this place is clearly a winner. The outside and the inside are decorated in such a nice and beautiful way. When I lived in St. Louis a short time about 20 years ago, I would’ve never imagined a place like this could have existed in the area. I can’t wait to stop by again next time I find myself in the St. Louis area.  Updated from previous review on 2026-05-12“

“I visited yesterday evening and ordered the toasted ravioli, which was absolutely delicious. The customer service is consistently exceptional, and the atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning.Thank you! My daughter is in town from Dallas, Texas and I plan to bring her.

“First time visit today (12apr2024), out of state visitors for the day (IL), happen to be in the area. Ordered togo: Chicken Shawarma plate Beef Kafka plate Chicken Shawarma Sandwich Humus with Chicken Shawarma 4 extra peta and 2 garlic sauce While waiting, the place had a nice feel, music, etc. After a small amount of time we were offered Coffee. To those that dont know with these style of coffee it can be bitter to the normal pallet. This is a mix of coffee and tea I believe was told at this location. My SO, which was their first time trying this, is not a fan. Having tried some out of state (MI) before, it was little better than I have have in the past. VERY Hot in temp, so you will want to let cool some. The ChkShawm sandwich was good, SO didnt like as much but I enjoyed it. We both enjoyed the rest of the order, so much that my SO over eat some and was hurting. It was tempting to do the same. The Chicken was very good and juicy, not dried out like once place we tried few months ago. Rice was very good, the one plate's rice might have needed just a bit more cook time as a very small amount was still a bit al dente. Glad we ordered the extra garlic sauce as it didnt come with any of the other plates. I didnt look or ask if that was normal, some places do, others dont and we end up emptying out any garlic sauce we get anyways from places like these.We always order extra garlic and petas. We dont get over to this area much and next chance may be in 6 month or a year from now but will have this marked s a fav to revisit when in the area again! Totally plan to order from here again without a doubt!“

“Celebrating their 100th year! I’m very excited to find this place. I ordered a banana split and it was soooo tasty. The shop was busy but went quick and my order was out in less than a minute. There are benches to sit and enjoy your treat. Definitely recommend.“

They also have gluten free imitation crab that is impossible to find anywhere else. The large burrito roll is enough for dinner and lunch the next day, so great value as well!“

“The Mediterranean Food was fantastic. I have not had good Mediterranean food in a LONG while. They started us off with the beet dip (my favorite), garlic potato dip, and black bean dip (partner’s favorite). I had a Latika Sunset cocktail which had Arak liquor in it. Never had any sort of anise based liquor, it was good. We then got kibbeh, a beef and onion seasoned dough ball, as an appetizer. I ordered Ouzi as my entree and my partner ordered Rozanna Mixed Grill. We finished with the arabic ice cream for dessert. It was wonderful. The atmosphere was gorgeous and the staff was friendly, kind, and helpful.“

“We had a party of 6 on Saturday night. Great service. Outstanding food had by everyone. A few in the party ordered the Lasagna after they were out of Ossobuco. They loved the Lasagna, the Chicken Risotto was one of the best I ever had, although I modified it by adding mushrooms. We did start out with appetizers and the Roasted Wild Mushroom app and Toasted Ravoli were incredible. Highly recommend this place.“

“I go to the Shack at least once a month. I was there recently and received excellent food and service. Jennifer was great server, nothing was too much trouble. She helped move all of our coats and bags in order to change our seats. She was cheerful and helpful. I bring my out-of-town guests here often. The menu includes healthy,creative, delicious entrees, and as well as gluten free options.“

“I was on lunch break was told food would be done in 10 minutes. waited 30. got back to work very late. To top it off the food was disgusting. I'm not sure if there was even a burger patty provided. what was om the sandwich was an over abundance of mayo and mustard like I guess I ordered a mustard and mayo sandwich. It was messy made the bun soggy and just all around gross. I was going to bring all my kidd back to eat and will NEVER EAR HERE AGAIN. A REFUND IS WANTED. 27 DOLLARS FOR 2 BURGERS 2 DRINKS AND 1 FRY AND THE PLAIN CHEESEBURGWR HAD ONIONS ON IT WASNT SUPPOSE TO. “Recently, I made a wrong turn on Manchester and pulled into a strip mall to turn around, ending up in front of this restaurant by happy accident. 😊 My daughter and I both love Middle Eastern food, so we decided to give it a try. We were unaware they were still 20 minutes from opening, but the owner graciously insisted on us staying and proceeded to make us a pot of cardamom tea while we waited for the grills to heat. He was so pleasant and attentive, and the food was absolutely fantastic! One of the best dining experiences we've had in St. Louis in quite some time! Highly recommend!“

“Our waitress was friendly but a bit overworked. The Italian Wedding soup was horrible. No flavor, no Italian sausage and full of barley. The roast beef sandwich was good but had wilted greens on it and we didn’t like that. The ham and cheese sandwich was good. The atmosphere was a bit noisy.“
