Sucrose is the best bakery in the greater St. Louis area. Period. Their staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The locally roasted coffee (Blueprint) is fantastic. They also have plenty of options for those with dietary restrictions (GF, dairy free, etc.). In the dozens of times I have gone here, I have never had something that was not fantastic. The quiche lorraine, NY coffee cake, blueberry muffins, and macarons are some of my favorites, but that list is much, much longer....read full review

Beautiful pasteries with a wide selection - many which you cannot find elsewhere within a 15 mile radius. Great for breakfast too. If you are enjoying your purchase in their dining space, please keep in mind they are known for their delicious options and not their construction or decor. Buy a huge bag and hit the open road. Yum.

I absolutely adore this bakery! Quiche, muffins, cakes, cookies, biscotti, and that's not even close to all of it. So many goodies! The coffee is perfectly crafted and light years better than any chain coffee shop. Get there early to get the good stuff, they will run out of popular items. There is a quaint little area to enjoy goodies in house or get them to go. Service is always fast and friendly.
