“Marc was the cashier at self check out. I want to note that and he was very kind he noticed my milk was leaking as I went to put it in a bag and then he continually helped me clean it up. Marc even helped me bag the rest of my items. Then he watched my cart so I could go grab another milk. You always get great service here by every staff member. “We made a trip to St. Charles, MO in August 2023 to ride the Katy Trail. The Bike Stop Cafe was the perfect choice to help us with the trip. They were so helpful in so many ways. Jodi got us to Clinton, MO for us to start our ride back to St. Charles. St. Charles is a cute little town to stay in, so many shops and restaurants right by Bike Stop Cafe. We also got to enjoy a lunch one day at the Cafe and the food was amazing. If we get to ride the trail again we will without a doubt use Bike Stop Cafe and their services again.“

When entering, I feel as if I am in a little shop in a small Italian village. The pasta, meats, sauces, and let's not forget the cookies and other wonderful pastries. They were quite busy when I walked in but the owner Ray came to the counter to take my order pretty quickly. I used to come here for the Taro Milk, but my current favorite was the Purple Rice Yogurt with Mango drink. It's delicious and tasted similar like Vietnamese dessert - sua chua nep cam, but in a fruity side. I also got the Purple Rice Yogurt with Blueberry and Pasteis De Nata for my girlfriend, and she absolutely loved both items. My partner got his usual Chai Latte with Oatmilk - very aromatic and the sweetness just right. Bakery and drinks here are not overly sweet. “Liz’s has the best Filipino food hands down. I often come here after school and it never disappoints. If you’re Cebuana like me, you will love their kawali combo with rice and pancit. “Service and cleanliness were impeccable. Kudos to them for that. The grandkids love this place so every time special occasion comes around we buy them cookies. I feel like they are on the expensive side for what you get. we usually get the 12 pack just because it's cheaper and then we can divide among our families. A nice thing is they do offer a veterans military discount if you ask. But it is only good on same-day purchases. It would be nice if you could order ahead of time and then pick up scheduled time but that is not allowed. And you cannot order online with a veterans discount. Maybe they could sign up for ID.me to solve that problem, and then also let you order ahead of time for a schedule time with the Discount. I had my 12 cookies divided into four boxes. They stated they had to charge me for four extra boxes to do that. Which seems kind of weird because they would've given me them in one box at least. So I shouldn't have to pay for at least one of them. That aside I think it's ridiculous that you pay between $40 to $50 for cookies and then they want to charge you $.25-$.65 per box to put them in. My husband said next time maybe we should bring our own boxes :). As I said, no issues with staff they were fantastic. Cookies we're . I just don't see why you have to pay extra for boxes especially if you're not taking them home empty you're actually putting cookies in them when you buy them. “Peace Love Coffee is absolutely the best vegan restaurant in the entire St. Louis area! I’ve eaten pretty much everything on the menu and most of the desserts. Everything is delicious. I usually order the chickpea of the sea sandwich with a side of chili. The desserts are out of this world delicious and moist. We have brought most of our family here and they love it too! The service is as good as the food. I can’t say enough good things about Peace Love Coffee.“
“Sugar and Slice is my absolute favorite bakery. They made our wedding cake and dessert bar for our wedding reception. The desserts are so delicious and we’re such a big hit. Everyone complimented them and loved the dessert bar idea. Sugar and slice was so easy to communicate with and handled last minute changes like adding our dog to the cake. They did an amazing job and were so much fun to work with!“

“Brought family of 5 in for ice cream. Our local library had a promotion where kids that read a lot of books got a scoop of ice cream. Kids enjoyed the birthday cake scoops while my wife and I split an ice cream flight. Yes, you read that right. I got 4 little scoops of all the stuff I wanted to try out. I was quite fond of the elderberry honey. My youngest like the banana pie, and my oldest leaned towards the Snickerdoodle.Overall, great experience, not a complaint in the world. Plan to come back again!Kid-friendliness: Kids got a huge scoop that made their jaws drop. The music playing in the background was soothing big band jazz so no worries on bad language popping up.“

“We had a wonderful lunch at the Balkan Store and Bakery today. We were greeted with smiles and felt so welcome. We had lots of questions and the ladies took time to answer them. The gyros were huge and terrific, the soup was amazing and the greek salad fresh and delicious. We were so full that we had to take our Baklava home with us. “I drove 30 minutes to be able to try the Venezuelan sweets and savory food. Everything was DELICIOUS!!! The bread that was used for the food is very soft and tastes fresh. You can really tell that the food is made with a lot of care. Some of my personal favorites are the cachitos filled with ham and bacon and turkey and cream cheese. My favorite bombas is the one filled with the pastry cream. The pastry cream has the perfect level of sweetness. I highly recommend that you try this food. You won’t be disappointed ?“

“We stopped in late one evening right before Christmas. It's right off main street, so parking may cause some issues depending on when you go. The service was okay enough, nothing horrible - nothing great. We were late so the assortment of cookies wasn't the top cookies, I don't think, but what we did get was pretty good. Very homemade tasting, which isn't a bad thing. The best was the gingerbread and snickerdoodle, by far! Worth a stop in!“

“I am not a huge cookie fan but my daughter kept telling me about Crumbl so since I knew she was going asked for two cookies. I got a Kentucky butter I think it was called and a. Stuffed cookie that was like a s'more, Two grams and a thick layer of chocolate in between. Now this would not be the same if you cook it at home, technically it sounds like you could but it's not...and it was by far my favorite. I loved this so much I made my daughter (she works right across from the Chesterfield location). I made her go get me at least one more cookie before. Flavors changes. I still am not the greatest cookie fan but if I were to want cookies I'd look for the nearest Crumbl!“
“Sucrose is the best bakery in the greater St. Louis area. Period. Their staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The locally roasted coffee (Blueprint) is fantastic. They also have plenty of options for those with dietary restrictions (GF, dairy free, etc.). In the dozens of times I have gone here, I have never had something that was not fantastic. The quiche lorraine, NY coffee cake, blueberry muffins, and macarons are some of my favorites, but that list is much, much longer. Treat yourself and go on Saturday mornings when they really go all out. Bacon, cheddar, and caramelized onion croissants, sticky buns, whole loaves of bread, amazing specials using ingredients from their garden, and so much more. During the holidays they sell whole pies and other desserts. Their apple pie is truly special and I will continue to buy it every Thanksgiving. I have been going there since they were at their old location (and also had a different name- Four Seasons Bakery), and will continue to frequent their establishment until I am no longer physically able.
