50 Best Bakeries near Maryland Heights

“The workers recognize their regulars and are very helpful and considerate. Bakery is great and boba is better. A few more bread treats would be wonderful but the selection they have is top notch.“

“Went here last week, and what I really loved was the atmosphere and the people who work here. Everyone was so kind and hospitable—exactly what you’d expect from a Filipino restaurant. It has that very carinderia-style feel, which I absolutely love. The prices are reasonable, and they even give you free sabaw when available.

So yes, I definitely love this place! ❤🇵🇭“

“This Auntie Anne's location has pretzel bites ready to go but if you want a regular pretzel, they are made to order and take about 10 minutes. It is worth the wait! They are fresh and hot and soft... but with a touch of crispiness. Just the right amount of salt too.“

“Wonderful owners who were so nice from the very first time they met us. Their desserts are the best I’ve ever tasted!“

“They have the sweetest ladies working in the cafe. Their customer service is a bomb 10/10“

“Order ahead if can, reheat and salt at home if getting croissant (or bring a small packet with, he might have some we were too excited to ask). It was amazingly tasty! Even cold cause we went in late it was just something special. Best to pick up and ton and reheat at home we will return and so should you!“

“Best cookies you can find, even has shipping available for when you’re not even around.“

“The Cakery pulled of my daughters wedding vision and took it to the next level. Not only was the cake gorgeous, but truly one of the most delicious cakes I have had. The buttercream was sweet and rich but not too sweet. The cake was moist and so tasty, even the next day! I cannot recommend them enough for weddings or any reason!“

“Amazing Korean Bakery. Instead of just pure sugar, Korean bakeries balance flavors. There is some sweet, some savory, fruits and balanced flavors, not to mention beautiful cakes. This is an absolute treat, we drive over an hour to come here.“

“Wonderful donuts, the person who is usually there works so hard and is very personable. I do wish they would update their hours and closed times on Google. On more than one occasion I have made the time before work to pick up donuts for my office and have found it closed. They sell out of things early but that just shows how good they are and are trying to not have a bunch of waste at the end of the day.“

“We love Sugar & Slice! We have used them for birthday cakes in the past and we knew they would be best for our wedding cake. We just got married this past weekend in May and they did a fantastic job using our reference to build our cake. The cake was beautiful and tasted amazing. The texture was still soft and full of flavor. We can't recommend them enough. They also did an amazing spread of cookies and cinnamon rolls. We provided to go bags for our guests and we had none left to take home, they were so popular. You will not be disappointed with whatever items you decide to buy from Sugar & Slice.“

“The items from this est. truly scrumptious! The staff is very courteous and helpful. The snickerdoodle cookie isn't pintsized. At least 5 in. across. And delicious, too! I recommend this place.“

“This store is by far the best Crumbl in STL to get cookies at. They always look like they should and are not undercooked like most crumbl cookies. I come in once every other week or so typically later in the day and there is always this one girl ( she told me her name was Kennedy) working so hard I’m always impressed. I’ve seen her handle entire crowds of people all by herself while still keeping a smile on her face. Every time I see her when I come in I know I’m about to have the best experience possible. Keep up the hard work!“

“I highly recommend the sourdough class! So informative and the executive chef was open to answer any and all questions!“

“Delicious ice cream at a great price.“

“Simply fantastic! Every bite was delicious. The chinga sandwich was HUGE and every bite was fresh and flavorful. Sausage rolls were flaky and rich. Polo biscuits were perfection. The only thing that outshone the food was the lovely owners. Patricia and Kojo were friendly and hospitable from the moment we walked in. They truly go above and beyond in everything and sincerely care about quality and service. This business is blessed. Excited to watch it grow!“

“A friend took us here and it was a great experience! The dining was very spacious with cafe tables, and lounge style dining. They have a lot of pastries, cakes and pastries and they were all beautifully displayed and very delicate and prettily designed. We bought several of the cakes, desserts and pastries and nothing disappointed, they're all perfectly made and not overpowering in sweetness. They have coffee, dessert drinks, fruit juices as well. Would love to come by again.“

“This is pretty much the only kind of bread of any kind that I eat anymore! This is the kind of Syrian bread my neighbor had when I was a kid. Nothing you can get in a supermarket (other than this, which I get I Dierberg's) even comes close!“

Will come back here for tea and scones ❤️😊“

“I had seen this on someone elses post on Instagram. I searched locations and none were near me so I forgot about it for a while. It wasnt until we were in St. Louis that I came across it again and I couldnt let the opportunity to try it pass me by.

My husband and I stopped in and it was and amazing atmosphere. A calm and relaxing place. Quiet enough to read a book. it had so many option fo pastries and savory treats. I had such a hard time choosing what I wanted to try because everything looked so good. I ended up picking a few items and my husband another few. Everything I ate was so flavorful and delicately crafted. I fell in love with this place and was sad to know it might be a long time before I could try it again since I live 7 hors away.

Or so I thought until about a week ago I found a location for Tous les Jours an hour and half away from me in Omaha NE 🥹 I was so excited and have plans to try this location in the next few days. Review for that one soon to come.“

“Omg! My first year ordering Christmas Eve dinner from Dierbergs! An easy, friendly and fast pickup on Dec 24th before the store closed! We ordered the succulent prime rib dinner! Best Christmas Eve dinner ever served!! The prime rib was the best I’ve had in a long time! And each and every side with it was incredibly delicious! Thank you Dierbergs for giving us an unforgettable Christmas Eve dinner! I so hope you do this year after year, because I want this meal as my new holiday tradition! Thank you so much! And happy New Year!! I’ll be giving you my business in the new year! ❤️“

“I want to say THANK YOU!!! I Just left the Dierbergs location in Des Peres and had the BEST customer service EVER!!! I was looking for beef short ribs. I asked the meat counter gentleman. he walked over with me to the place they should have been. there was only 1 pack and I really needed 3-5 pounds. he was nice enough to not only go see if he had any in the freezer but he also cut them and from full ribs. To me this is real customer service! This is just one example on why I drive past 4 other grocery stores to come to this location. THANK YOU for having the BEST employees!!!“
